What an absolutely lovely property! The views are stunning. It’s tucked away from Folly Beach, which makes it incredibly quiet and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. The decor was perfect. The rooftop deck was wonderful to have morning coffee and watch the dolphins. All the ladies that worked at the inn were friendly and had wonderful local recommendations. The Regatta Inn is a beautiful small inn on the Folly River, with lovely views and a thoughtful and professional staff. We plan to return soon. Be aware that there is no elevator, which limits accessibility.

Beautiful sunsets over the water from the upper terrace. Lisa provided wonderful breakfasts and happy hour wine and apps. We were also provided with beach chairs and towels for our day at the beach.

This hotel is a 10/10. We really loved the great location and the fantastic service!! They have everything from beach chairs and bikes to free rides to beach on their golf cart (although beach is only a few minute walk). We would highly recommend!

It’s a relatively new building. We had beautiful view and the bed was comfortable. There were many stairs and no elevator, so be aware if you have a heavy luggage. Other than that, it was nice and beautiful.

Beautiful inn and beautiful views. Quiet and safe area. Easy parking. Staff, breakfast and happy hour were wonderful. Only complaint is - the mattress cover should probably be replaced as it had some old stains on it. Other than that, everything was very nice.

We really enjoyed our six night stay at Regatta for a getaway vacation. Kim, along with the other staff attendants, were amazing and extremely helpful and kind in all matters. The facilities themselves are immaculate and have an intimate feel. Breakfast is provided daily at 9 and happy hour with free adult beverages available in the afternoon. Regatta Inn is literally within a couple of minutes walking distance to the beach, with free bicycles and lawn chairs available for your usage. Additionally, it is located in a very safe and relatively secluded part of the beach. I would most definitely stay here again the next time we come to Folly Beach.

We enjoyed our Schooner room view! Was gorgeous and quiet and just perfect for a peaceful getaway. We also enjoyed taking the bikes on a easy journey to town to enjoy the beach and cocktails. Great hospitality here with a wonderful greating for Kim and delicious breakfast. Room was clean and Nicely done.

This was our second time staying at Regatta inn and we will be back for a third! The rooms are spacious and clean, the area is walkable to beach access and dining. The staff is friendly and helpful. The view is unbeatable! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing long weekend away.

The homemade breakfast was delicious and featured a casserole, bagels, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. In the late afternoon there are great snacks and drinks for guests in the lovely dining area. We also sat on the upper outside deck for a great view of sunset over the water. I highly recommend the Regatta Inn.

Cute Inn away from downtown on the Marina. Easy check in although you need to climb stairs with your bags. Very nicely designed but in need of updates! Carpet in our bedroom was rumbling and bathtub was cracked on the exterior. Towels are worn out. Breakfast was pretty good. Views are beautiful!

Place was very clean and professionally run. Kim and Lisa are fabulous host and do anything to accommodate their guest and make their stay enjoyable. Breakfast and coffee every morning was delicious! They offered evening snacks with wine and beer options also. It is on the quiet end of the island but yet still close enough to the fun. We highly recommend and plan to go back!

Very pretty property with gorgeous views. The rooms are all unique and have nice amenities and a very comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We loved the upstairs porch and the screened porches were great places to watch the sunset. The only issue perhaps for some would be the stairs. We would happily come back anytime!

The Inn was beautiful. The service was great. A couple of complaints: The gas fireplace quit working within 10 minutes of us being in the room and it was very cold outside. No one came to help fix it, follow up with us, or asked any questions about it. Our "Garden View" was of a parking lot.

We unfortunately arrived too late to witness the famous sunset, but the room was modern and immaculate! We enjoyed the rainfall shower, down bedding, sound machine and gas fireplace in our room. Sunrise was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from both our balcony and the breakfast area. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed the slow paced morning with Lisa and a few other guests. Lisa encouraged us to take coffee, fruit, and cookies for the road and encouraged us to visit again when we can enjoy the outdoors too. We plan to! Regatta was a perfect couples retreat! Highly, highly recommend!

10/10 perfect to be near Folly Beach and all it offers but a bit off the beaten path. Beautiful rooms, excellent, friendly, no hassle staff and a wonderful hot homemade breakfast. Get the top floor if you’re able the views are mesmerizing. We watched dolphins, jumping fish, birds and more from our private balcony. Perfect!!

It’s a very quaint & quiet bed & breakfast with the nicest accommodating staff. Bikes, corn hole, fishing off pier, watching dolphins play off our screened in patio- everything we desired. We must visit again and stay longer than 3 days.

We had a large 3rd floor room with a balcony overlooking the Folly River. Spectacular view and sunsets. Top notch bathroom. Very comfortable. Nice happy hour in the evening and breakfast in the morning.

The location and sunsets were excellent! The room was clean and nicely decorated. The mattresses and pillows could be better. Overall, sleeping wasn’t great. There is no better view of the salt marshes than the screen porch at our room.

Great staff and amenities. I couldn’t find a comfortable place to sit in the room, patio, or dining area. The AC unit cycling made it difficult to sleep. Keep in mind we are both in our mid 70’s so that may contribute to the comments made. We loved the location and views. The stairs were also a problem for us but the staff made sure we knew about them before we arrived. Thank you especially to Kim, Paige, Lisa, and Mary Allen. They took time to talk and get to know the area a bit. Highly recommend for younger and more active couples.

Kim was amazing! Homemade breakfast casseroles every morning, fresh fruit, amazing happy hour! She makes you feel like you’re family. We used the complimentary bikes and rode them on the beach into town to see the Christmas Parade. Perfect weekend! Thank you Kim.

Brad and I really enjoyed yhe days when Kim was working. Kim went above and be on. She was so nice and was there for anything we needed. Offered to drive us down to the beach at the park and pick us back up. Kept asking us if there was anything we needed. Also she made a delicious breakfast! We definitely would stay there again.

Everything was great. Lisa and Page were attentive and very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was incredible each morning and the afternoon snacks were an added bonus. Definitely recommend staying here

My wife and I came down to Folly Beach from Michigan for the week. Everything was phenomenal with our stay and Sean was amazing. However i do want to point out a guy i witnessed speaking with Sean. From their conversation i guess he was either the owner of Regatta Inn or Sean's manager. I did not appreciate the disrespectful way he spoke to Sean. He was arrogant, demeaning in the way he talked to Sean. For that reason alone my wife and I will not be back. If this gentleman was the owner i dont want one penny of mine in his pocket. We had a great stay otherwise unfortunately next year when we come down we'll be staying elsewhere.

The host is very welcoming, ensuring all needs are meet with quick communication. We always looked forward to the homemade breakfast and happy hour. In addition the views were beautiful, make sure to make it back for sunset!!

Beware ! Terrible! Singled out ! Unprofessional! I picked this place over good reviews which I shouldn’t have! Checked in on Friday and Saturday two employees come to my room to move me to a different room said that Expedia had booked two rooms for me contacted Expedia. Expedia called and the employees would not answer the phone when Expedia called about the moving of rooms .So Expedia couldn’t help with the problem. Then the employees came back again two hours later,telling me that I would need to move rooms on Monday night ,so I then I contact Expedia again in Which guaranteed me that it was not them that booked two rooms for me I only had one room booked for my stay. After the employees finally answer the phone the employees came back again telling me that they did not come to agreement with Expedia and she would let me stay in that room my whole stay. The employees blamed Expedia and Expedia blamed the place I was staying. Felt singled out they weren’t moving anyone else from room to room just trying to make us. Did not receive any room service at all my entire stay of four nights. I had to go ask for toiletries and towels my whole stay there. On the website, it said breakfast was at 8 AM. No breakfast was out at that time. No golf cart service either to the beach like it said on website. With the money that my husband and I paid for the room, you would think that it would be a great stay, it wasn’t. Terrible customer service!

This was an amazing hotel! The room was clean upon arrival and Bonnie was absolutely amazing!! She answered all our questions and gave us a ride to and from the main Folly Beach area when it was storming. If Bonnie reads this, I want her to know that we did end up seeing nesting sea turtles on our last night :) Amazing experience! The happy hours and breakfasts were great as well. We never went hungry! Other gusts were also quite kind and chatting with them at happy hour was always a good time. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a place to stay at Folly Beach.

What an absolutely lovely property! The views are stunning. It’s tucked away from Folly Beach, which makes it incredibly quiet and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. The decor was perfect. The rooftop deck was wonderful to have morning coffee and watch the dolphins. All the ladies that worked at the inn were friendly and had wonderful local recommendations. Cannot wait to return here.

The Regatta Inn was in a great location. It’s a two minute bike ride to the beach, but in a quiet section overlooking the bay. The screened in patio off of our room overlooked the bay and made for a peaceful place to have coffee in the mornings. The staff was beyond helpful, kind and courteous! The long haired brunette manager had many helpful suggestions on restaurants and things to do. She made our trip there worth it.

This hotel is a 10/10. We really loved the great location and the fantastic service!! They have everything from beach chairs and bikes to free rides to beach on their golf cart (although beach is only a few minute walk). We would highly recommend!

Regatta Inn is absolutely fabulous! It’s on the quiet end of Folly Beach on the Kiawah River. The views can’t be beat, and there’s easy access to the beach at the nearby county park. The Inn has been remodeled in past year and the spaces are very comfortable. We enjoyed having our own screened porch to enjoy morning coffee. Short walk to the beach, close to dining in town and Charleston is a 20 minute drive away. Perfect spot for the perfect getaway.

We really enjoyed our six night stay at Regatta for a getaway vacation. Kim, along with the other staff attendants, were amazing and extremely helpful and kind in all matters. The facilities themselves are immaculate and have an intimate feel. Breakfast is provided daily at 9 and happy hour with free adult beverages available in the afternoon. Regatta Inn is literally within a couple of minutes walking distance to the beach, with free bicycles and lawn chairs available for your usage. Additionally, it is located in a very safe and relatively secluded part of the beach. I would most definitely stay here again the next time we come to Folly Beach.

Kim was amazing! Homemade breakfast casseroles every morning, fresh fruit, amazing happy hour! She makes you feel like you’re family. We used the complimentary bikes and rode them on the beach into town to see the Christmas Parade. Perfect weekend! Thank you Kim.

Staff personality OUTSTANDING! Breakfast was AMAZING, each morning (total of 4 mornings), We were able to join happy hour once which was extremely nice, our fault not joining the other days due to us enjoying FOLLY and surrounded beaches.

The building is located in a pretty spot and parking was not a problem. We were on the 4th floor in one of their nicest rooms. Remember, no elevators in this building. Upon arrival none of the bedside lamps worked, the television was not programmed, and both the air conditioning and the portable heater were running at full speed trying to cancel each other out. The young lady at the desk (a new employee) tried her best to assist us but was not able to solve any of the issues. Another guest offered to help and was able to get the lights working. We were able to get one extra blanket and just dealt with everything else since changing rooms was not a viable option. Unable to get regular coffee in our room and the only coffee pot for the entire inn is the same as in my home…makes 12 cups, therefore always empty. Breakfast and Happy Hour spreads were pathetic, both the quantity and the quality. And the towels were “skimpy”. When I requested clean towels, I was told, “we have to have your towels to wash, not enough towels to just exchange”. I never write a book for a review, but perhaps our experience will address a few of the issues this establishment is having so they can be corrected or give a future guest a heads up.

Excellent, peaceful and convenient hidden gem with wonderful complimentary happy hour with cheese, meat, fruit and beers/wine and excellent complimentary breakfast! absolutely amazing! We had an absolutely amazing stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, everything was relaxing, beautiful, and welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The resort was beautiful and well maintained, the accommodations were comfortable and clean, Kim was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We especially loved being able to relax, enjoy the amenities, and truly unwind.
