Viele schätzen das gut sortierte Brennholz, die individuellen Feuerstellen und Holzkohlegrills sowie einen kleinen, befischbaren Teich. A very peaceful cabin surrounded by wildlife. A town with all you might need is only four miles away, yet you feel like you’re way out in the country. Fridge & freezer, indoor and outdoor sets of table and chairs, grill, wood for fire pit, coffee & coffee pot and much more. Three bedrooms and full bathroom. A landline phone just for the cabin itself. Pets are on option too.

Great cabin just West of Custer. Clean and tidy. We enjoyed the fire pit one night and used the charcoal grill 2 nights. Cabin has limited TV channels but we really weren't there for that. I wish the cabins had internet access. Kinda of a bummer to have to drive towards Custer to get any signal. I would recommend these cabins. Great location and beautiful back yard.

We loved our stay at the Cabin! My kids loved the fire pit. We wish we had brought meat for the grills outside. Well maintained, great comfy beds, good towels. Lovely view out windows of pond and horses nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay while visiting the area. A big plus that we could leave our dogs at the cabin while we were out and about. The stocked fishing pond has little perch that are fun to catch and release. Each cabin has its own fire pit with plenty of fire wood.

Beautiful, well built log cabin. Cozy, quiet and clean. Refrigerator with freezer, but no indoor cooking facilities other than a coffeemaker — with coffee provided. Weber charcoal grill available. We particularly appreciated the boatload of dry split firewood for the fire pit! Dark sky showed us magnificent astrological productions each evening. Convenient Black Hills location just 4 miles west of downtown Custer. Great spot. Don’t let the lack of cellular or wi-fi stop you. It’s only a minor inconvenience; signals available in town. You should stay here!

Absolutely perfect! We will be going back. The cabins were beautiful, clean and cozy. The fire pit had lots of wood and was relaxing. There was no internet and phone service was minimal but it was exactly what we both needed!! Thank you!

We loved this place so much the first time we stayed here that we came back with our whole extended family. We love the catch and release pond and spent hours fishing. We also really enjoy being completely unplugged from our phones and devices since there is no wifi or cell service. The cabins are clean and the property managers are responsive. We also really appreciated the supplied firewood, charcoal grill, grilling utensils, and large fridge that allowed us to make all our meals at the cabin. These cabins are the perfect place to get away, unwind and reconnect with family in a beautiful, quiet setting that is still close enough to other black hills attractions. We can’t wait for our next annual trip!

Loved the cabin, looks nicer and bigger than the pictures we saw online. No grate for campfire, no dishes or cooking items other than coffee, coffee maker, coffee cups, and glasses. Adequate amount of towels, trash bags, firewood. Full size fridge/freezer and large sink with grilling utensils also provided. The queen bed is in its separate bedroom and two full beds in family room area, table, and six chairs. Two televisions with satellite. There is WiFi, enough to get emails and check websites but not for streaming. We enjoyed it a lot.

We just spent 4 nights here, and we were thoroughly impressed! We loved the private fishing pond, the quiet location, and the fact the ample firewood was already provided. The cabin was clean, and everything we needed. We were worried that with 13 and 11 yo kids, that they would not like the fact there was no internet, but it didnt bother any of us. In fact, it never mentioned once. We will definitely be back!

Great area out back of the cabins to let the dogs play, get some exercise. And very clean. Enjoyed sitting outside, the view was good. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Close enough to town and Parks, yet far enough to be quiet. Would stay again and recommend.

The cabin was very clean, however, the rooms are very small and cramped. It is difficult for an average sized adult to maneuver in the very small bathroom. The beds are insanely uncomfortable. The fire alarm intermittently went off during our stay. We attempted to reach the hotel staff, but were unable to. We left a day early because ot was so uncomfortable and cramped. We tried a couple more times to reach the hotel staff. There is no message on the answering service to let you know you called a hotel. We did not leave a message for this reason. When we finally reached an employee, she was very rude amd hung up on me.

Very quiet and close to custer state park ( the reason for the visit the Buffalo Round Up) Cons: No silverware or paper towels, or napkins 2 glasses no plates even though it has a kitchen. We had a problem with big flies and I called the management and he said he could not do anything! The cottage had no broom so after scouring the place under the garbage bucket was a fly swatter! Information he could have given me! Just poor communication

We loved our time in the Hills! These cabins are perfectly located. The beds are very comfortable with high quality sheets and bedding. The towels and bathroom layout worked well for our family of four. It was my fault for not carefully reading the description, but this cabin is not equipped with plates, paper towels, or utensils. We built a lovely campfire and enjoyed talking, making s’mores and gazing at the stars.

Cabin 4 was very nice. It is conveniently located just 4 miles outside of Custer. It was the most peaceful, beautiful, relaxing area you could ever imagine. There were 3 beds which were very comfortable. There wasn't really a kitchen, although there was a nice sized fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, but not much counter space. That made it a little cramped. But everything was clean & comfortable. Where the TV was located would be hard for more than 2 people to watch TV. We brought in 2 chairs, but we weren't there to watch TV anyway. Overall, we would highly recommend & will certainly go back again.

Spacious cabin conveniently located to 3 National Parks/Monuments & 1 State Park. Not too close in town, but not too far away. It wasn't unusual to see deer grazing in the fields nearby & the geese, & mallards enjoying the ponds & lake. The staff were always helpfull & friendly even when I made an after hours call. Would love to stay here again....

Our stay at Gold Camp Cabins was absolutely wonderful. Our family of five traveled to South Dakota from Texas and booked here because it was affordable and we liked the idea of having a cabin to ourselves instead of a hotel room. We stayed for four nights, and we were really thankful that we stayed here the whole time. It was convenient to everything we visited (We saw everything we could from Devil’s Tower in the west to Badlands National Park in the east). The cabin was so clean and well constructed. Though it was cozy, it was absolutely perfect for us. Each of us had a bed, and with the kitchenette and eating space, we were able to do breakfast in the cabin and prepare lunch everyday. Our kids loved playing volleyball out back, and we were impressed with how well-kept the lawn was. We had to call the office a couple of times during our stay, and they were immediately responsive both times. When we left, we felt like we were leaving our home away from home…and we commented that if we ever visit South Dakota again, this is where we would want to stay.

Our stay at Gold Camp Cabins was absolutely wonderful. Our family of five traveled to South Dakota from Texas and booked here because it was affordable and we liked the idea of having a cabin to ourselves instead of a hotel room. We stayed for four nights, and we were really thankful that we stayed here the whole time. It was convenient to everything we visited (We saw everything we could from Devil’s Tower in the west to Badlands National Park in the east). The cabin was so clean and well constructed. Though it was cozy, it was absolutely perfect for us. Each of us had a bed, and with the kitchenette and eating space, we were able to do breakfast in the cabin and prepare lunch everyday. Our kids loved playing volleyball out back, and we were impressed with how well-kept the lawn was. Brilliant, what an amazing view, beautiful area and so close to Custer and everything going on around the area. The property was perfect, do we'll put together and lovely to stay in. So easy to check in and out and super peaceful. Also worth noting cell signal was good enough in the area!

When we first pulled up we were a little worried because there is a logging company right in front of the property; however, once we got down the to the cabin all of our worries vanished. It was very quiet, the cabins are positioned so that you look at the national forest, it felt very private and homey, like you expect a log cabin to feel. Everything we needed was right in the cabin. We also appreciated that we didnt really have to check in or out, so it felt even more private and like we were at home. We reallt enjoyed our stay, i encourage anyone looking at this property to go ahead and book it.

Fridge & freezer, indoor and outdoor sets of table and chairs, grill, wood for fire pit, coffee & coffee pot and much more. Three bedrooms and full bathroom. A landline phone just for the cabin itself. Pets are on option too.

Spacious cabin conveniently located to 3 National Parks/Monuments & 1 State Park. Not too close in town, but not too far away. It wasn't unusual to see deer grazing in the fields nearby & the geese, & mallards enjoying the ponds & lake. The staff were always helpfull & friendly even when I made an after hours call. Would love to stay here again....

I would definitely stay again. Great location. So relaxing to sit outside and watch the ducks, geese and birds. Perfect log cabin feel inside with comfortable beds and good shower. Grill, picnic table and even fire pit outside. Would highly recommend.

The cabins and grass area where cabins are very nice. The location did not like. It was like in a dumpy area around a old ran down western place and a log home manufacturer on other side. Its major dissapointment when you think its in a beautiful place in Custer by the pictures.

This is the third time we have stayed in cabin 5. We love it! The views of the lake are amazing. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The location is not far from Custer. They have also added Wi Fi so we could at least text and do emails from the cabin, which we were excited about. There is no cell service, only a plug in phone for local and emergency use. We will definitely stay again.

This cabin was so clean and bright. Very cute. Great scenery, horses near by a pond out back. Had picnic table and chairs for outside. The WiFi worked great, we were in cabin 4. No couch or chairs inside. Small table with benches for games or eating. Only be tv would have been nice to have one in each room. However the place was so kept up. We loved it and would for sure return.
