We have stayed at this hotel many times the past year. Each time feeling very pleased with our overall stay. This time was very different. The vibe was off the moment we checked in. They did not give the bottles of water we have always received at check in, and we were not told any information about the amenities or check out details. We stayed in suite 226 and the moment we walked into the room there was an instant smell of trash with hints of burnt objects lingering throughout the room. The floors had shoe prints that were not even ours. The headboard had spots that should have been wiped off, the mirror as well was dirty. When we asked about air freshener for the room the front desk worker told us they don’t provide that. We stayed one night and just put up with the smell because we had plans as soon as we got there. When we called to have extra pillows delivered to the room the front desk worker told me she could not bring me anything till her release showed up. I offered to go to her and she told me that wouldn’t do anything because she doesn’t have any extra pillows on the first floor. We finally got pillows 35 mins after asking. It just feels like the staff has slowly let things go and for me personally I could feel the changes enough to not feel the same comfortable way I have always felt all the other times we have stayed in this hotel.

This hampton was wonderful. Very clean, breakfast was amazing the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was very quiet, we didn't hear any noise in the hallway or other doors opening and closing. The outdoor seating area is very nice, and the location is very close to many restaurants and main roads. It was very easy to find our way around even though we were unfamiliar with the area. It was a great experience.
