Welcomed with a smile, the room was just as described. We stayed in the bar in the evening and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Jonathan was a fabulous host. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone who wants a relaxing stay.

The location of the Red Pump is great, being off the beaten track it is a quiet space to relax. The staff are super friendly, helpful and a delight to get on with. The bar and rooms are all decorated and maintained in a cosy country style. A great place, which I will be visiting again.

The red pump inn really is a gem, and a great find. We will definitely be back! Beautiful country style reception areas, and bar areas, with open fires. Very atmospheric and comfortable. The rooms are also lovely, with a different, French influence. Immaculately clean too. Good buffet breakfast with bacon and sausage, and one of the best cups of coffee we have ever had!! Hubby and I are coffee snobs.

Surrounding area is beautiful. The property is very nice, the rooms are clean and the bathroom was good. The breakfast was very good too. Only thing I would say is that the bar was not serving the night we stayed (a Sunday) and that would have been good to know when we booked. Other than that, very good.

From checking in the staff are friendly, parking onsite, Breakfast was amazing, hot and everything you need. The only thing for me was the bathroom wasn't in the room, when I booked it did say private bathroom so presumed it was in the room. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was fabulous. A lovely room with a fantastic view. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors. A lovely breakfast to start the day. We were lucky that when we got back to the hotel after our friends daughters wedding reception we were treated to live folk music in a well stocked bar. A lovely relaxing end to a delightful day

We stayed here with friends to attend a wedding party near-by. From the get go we were welcomed by Fran as if we were part of her family, check in was simple, no fuss at all. Our room was large, fairly rustic, but with a very nice wet room for anyone wanting a bit of luxury. We brought a lovely bottle of wine from cellar, to start the evening before the bar itself opened. Upon meeting all our friends in the bar area and smelling the food from the kitchen we all contemplated staying at the Inn instead of going out. After the celebrations, we returned to the Inn and enjoyed a great nights sleep in a large, comfy bed. In the morning, breakfast was buffet style,self service, basic, but tasty and plentiful. All in all..The Red Pump Inn was a great place to stay and we would happily return and recommend to others.10/10 Thanks Fran and Jonathan 👍

We stayed here as our daughter was getting married nearby and it was recommended by the wedding venue. Fran & Jonathan gave us a warm & friendly welcome. We stayed in the Pendle View room which was fabulous with amazing views. The full English breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to go back.

They tried to charge me £136 again on arrival. I explained that this was my 11th night on hotel.com and I’d therefore already paid. Was told “that’s your business” I said no it’s not it’s yours. Even when i produced the evidence, I did not get an apology. Breakfast is continental which is not specified. Only a bath in the room with an inadequate shower head. Overall it was an ok stay, but not value for the money paid.

Great place for our overnight stay following a friends wedding. Room was comfortable and nicely equipped, shower/wet room excellent. Breakfast was an excellent self serve buffet and the staff and owner of the business were brilliant.

Very friendly owners and staff, let us check in early as we was at a wedding near by. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Loved the coffee and tea in room and small snacks. Comfy bed, very nice and quiet, and the little white dog was adorable. Thank you 🤗

Absolutely wonderful stay. Stayed one night for a wedding nearby, we had a lovely welcome on check in and really useful with taxi details and just being lovely. The rooms are gorgeous, modern but still in keeping with the property. The bathroom was lovely, as was the tea coffee and biscuits! Really comfy as well. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly. The views are incredible. I would actually come back and stay just to go on walks round the area / relax at the hotel because it was so nice - wouldn’t say that about anywhere else we have gone for one night for a wedding/event! Thank you for having us!

The welcome received from Fran and Brad was great! We will be back at some point. And what a fabulous breakfast! All in all very comfortable and happy stay in an amazingly beautiful part of the world, when it's not raining!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Stayed one night for a wedding nearby, we had a lovely welcome on check in and really useful with taxi details and just being lovely. The rooms are gorgeous, modern but still in keeping with the property. The bathroom was lovely, as was the tea coffee and biscuits! Really comfy as well. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly. The views are incredible. I would actually come back and stay just to go on walks round the area / relax at the hotel because it was so nice - wouldn’t say that about anywhere else we have gone for one night for a wedding/event! Thank you for having us!

We stayed here as our daughter was getting married nearby and it was recommended by the wedding venue. Fran & Jonathan gave us a warm & friendly welcome. We stayed in the Pendle View room which was fabulous with amazing views. The full English breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to go back.

The location of the Red Pump is great, being off the beaten track it is a quiet space to relax. The staff are super friendly, helpful and a delight to get on with. The bar and rooms are all decorated and maintained in a cosy country style. A great place, which I will be visiting again.

Stayed at the Red Pump Inn for a wedding at Bashall Barn. Great location for the wedding, and other wedding venues in the area. Easy to communicate with the Red Pump Inn to advise of late arrival. Good buffet breakfast in the morning. I would stay there again if heading up to the area.

Great place for our overnight stay following a friends wedding. Room was comfortable and nicely equipped, shower/wet room excellent. Breakfast was an excellent self serve buffet and the staff and owner of the business were brilliant.

The red pump inn really is a gem, and a great find. We will definitely be back! Beautiful country style reception areas, and bar areas, with open fires. Very atmospheric and comfortable. The rooms are also lovely, with a different, French influence. Immaculately clean too. Good buffet breakfast with bacon and sausage, and one of the best cups of coffee we have ever had!! Hubby and I are coffee snobs.

Lovely room. Buffet breakfast including the hot food which meant soggy bacon and eggs. I'd have loved a freshly cooked option. Staff were rude while picking up room key so won't be staying again

Stay for a wedding nearby Had a fantastic evening back at The Red Pump after the Wedding. Great set of staff and customers had a great sing along. And was made welcome by all. Breakfast was plentiful good choices and hot Definitely go back

Surrounding area is beautiful. The property is very nice, the rooms are clean and the bathroom was good. The breakfast was very good too. Only thing I would say is that the bar was not serving the night we stayed (a Sunday) and that would have been good to know when we booked. Other than that, very good.

From checking in the staff are friendly, parking onsite, Breakfast was amazing, hot and everything you need. The only thing for me was the bathroom wasn't in the room, when I booked it did say private bathroom so presumed it was in the room. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here with friends to attend a wedding party near-by. From the get go we were welcomed by Fran as if we were part of her family, check in was simple, no fuss at all. Our room was large, fairly rustic, but with a very nice wet room for anyone wanting a bit of luxury. We brought a lovely bottle of wine from cellar, to start the evening before the bar itself opened. Upon meeting all our friends in the bar area and smelling the food from the kitchen we all contemplated staying at the Inn instead of going out. After the celebrations, we returned to the Inn and enjoyed a great nights sleep in a large, comfy bed. In the morning, breakfast was buffet style,self service, basic, but tasty and plentiful. All in all..The Red Pump Inn was a great place to stay and we would happily return and recommend to others.10/10 Thanks Fran and Jonathan 👍

I stayed at The Red Pump Inn in Bashall Eaves Enroute to The Lake District National Park for a weeks camping. I stayed in a Yurt, a first for myself as im accustomed to Tents, Tarps and open air camping. The Yurt was clean, tidy and had a comfortable double bed, with a good Fan and a lockable door for security. There was a compostable toilet and a good shower which was nice and refreshing. I missed the cut off for breakfast, however the lovely lady still cooked me a Bacon sandwich and a nice coffee. The inside of the inn was very cosy and had an antique pool/snooker table. I would highly recommend The Red Pump Inn to anyone.

Clean, and comfortable stay. Breakfast was nice. Expensive for what you get, but it served my purpose well. I needed a comfortable place to stay by a wedding venue, and that's what it was.

What great spot for a nice weekend break. Quiet surroundings just out of Clitheroe. The shepards hut has everything you need and a very comfy bed. The Hosts Jonathan & Fran are very inviting and friendly. 10/10 will definitely be returning 😀

This area has 8+ wedding venues and most arent Hotels just great venues so properties with glamping pods, cool sheperd huts have sprung up to support visitors. My "hut" was cool kingsize bed kitcheb facilities and a shower bathroom with a small deck and jacuzzi. Beautiful scenery and tge Inn was friendly cozy and offers a hearty breakfast.
