Check in was easy and hassle free. The staff I spoke to were friendly. The room were nice - especially for the price. Not a huge amount of parking but it wasn't an issue when we stayed. Definitely would recommend

Very clean and spacious room. I arrived just as the Bistro was closing and the staff called the kitchen to place a last minute order. My only negative for this property is that the on site parking is not enough for the number of rooms. Street parking is available, but hauling suitcases a distance in the dark is difficult.

Very nice motel. We enjoyed our 2 night stay after arriving on the Spirit of Tasmania ferry. Grounds included off street parking, restaurant serving delicious fare, a liquor store and lively bar. Great location to very nice walking esplanade and quaint city having everything one might need for travels.

The accomodation is part of a public bar. The room was clean and spacious, it suited our needs of a 1 night stay perfectly.. I feel the price for the room was a little on the 'high' side. We arrived, decided to eat lunch in the 'bistro'. Wow!... prices being asked for 'pub food'..a lot higher than expected. Good sized servings on the plate.. but.. jeez.. :( The only other thing worth mentioning.. the car parking for the rooms.. Not sure how it came about, but the space allotted for parking guest's cars.. not nearly enough.. if they were to have a 'full house'.

I recently stayed at the "Elimatta Hotel" as a solo traveler & the staff, accommodation, cleanliness & location were all excellent.The only thing I could rate badly was the noise that came from other rude & inconsiderate guests...🤔

We arrived early so we were able to get a car park . We had a nice meal in the restaurant. Roast pork and lots of vegetables. The only negative was a small window at the front of the room so a bit closed in . Yes I would stay again .

Good value motel. Stayed there before and its always been OK. This time service was less than ideal - I had a problem with the TV which staff did not respond to for quite a well - eventually got moved to another room with a functioning TV. Not the usual standard but will give them another go next time.

Arriving straight from a rough ride on the boat, we were thrilled with the room. A hot shower, great meal in the bistro and a good sleep did wonders. Then to wake up to a beautiful morning and go for a walk to the river mouth, was the best start to our holiday.

Reasonable value very comfortable room. Able to order dinner from the Bistro to have in my room. Nice and quiet. Easy, off street parking. Friendly service.

Located behind Pub but didn't hear any noise. Pub had restaurant for lunch with great view over water, and bar for drinks later. Easily walked into town from motel, would stay again.

Very clean. Typical Motel layout. Queen room was perfectly basic for 1 night. Great water pressure and temp regulation in shower. Food in the restaurant was decent but over priced for me. Staff are very nice. I would stay there again.

A real mixed bag here the room I stayed in upstairs was beautiful and freshly renovated with fantastic river views. Unfortunately the downstairs is what let's this property down, bar staff are some of the worst of seen (disinterested, lack of actual skills and very slow/no service) and I also dined in the restaurant, food was very average and again the service was poor. I will however make note the lady who checked me into the accommodation and the lady who was ran off her feet in the bistro due to all the younger staff doing nothing were great and really trying.

If you eat here be carefully what you order or just avoid the restaurant, salt and pepper squid was really oily and steak was supposed to be medium rare but was ruined, worse than well done, if you cannot cook a steak to order you are not a cook. It's not that hard, but my steak was.

The only thing stopping me from a 5 was the bed was pretty hard. We got a room upgrade to a newly refurbished room with a great view. Thank you to the wonderful girl on reception sorry didn't catch your name. Room was fantastic!! bathroom new and big. Would highly recommend @

On arrival we requested a river view room and were upgraded to one. It was spacious and provided microwave, crockery and cutlery as well as fridge, table and chairs so we could self cater breakfast. View was really interesting watching boats and ferries coming and going. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower .
