Great area! Our room was great. Was disappointed the hot tub was not heating and jets not working.

Only thing I would have enjoyed better was if the hot tub was set to a higher temperature it was more like a warm tub not a hot tub the pool is salt water and heated I felt like the temp of the pool should have been what the “warm tub “ was and the hot tub should been higher . Even for kids it was not really to warm . Was very relaxing n quiet in pool are was nicely set up after a long drive and working all day . They need a clock in the pool area though.

No towels in the pool. But the property was great

Fitness center very very small , fortunately there is a big athletic club across the street , but they don't suggest it at checkin.

This is definitely a family friendly hotel. Booked here for a short staycation and to have a hot tub. There were children in the hot tub the whole time but I’m not complaining; I need up just chilling in the hotel room. I enjoyed the patio out back. This is wear I enjoyed my coffee and sat and pondered. Breakfast was a bit confusing because it started being put away 30 minutes before 10 and the waffle batter was completely gone. The salsa was not good.

I’m disappointed that the hot tub is broken and it was not disclosed when I booked. I drove 30 mins out of my way for the hot tub.

No complaints except the pool became fouled by a family apparently wearing hair and/or skin products that caused the pool to be closed for over 24 hours of our stay.

We liked the late check out time of 1pm which gave us time to use the pool and hot tub both in the evening and the next morning. Overall, is a fairly new and beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Parking was little tight as we arrived after 11pm.

Very clean, newer hotel. In a quiet, industrial park type area- felt safe outside alone. Can walk to food/shop if you need anything. Exceptionally friendly night desk staff and (free!) breakfast area staff. Indoor pool and hot tub in great shape too. Would absolutely stay again.

The staff was without a doubt the highlight of the property. They addressed my concerns about my room immediately and offered complimentary snacks as an additional courtesy. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the property in general left something to be desired. There was an unfortunate smell of vomit that permeated the property for several days of my stay and the air conditioner in my room emitted a loud screeching noise when turned on

The hotel was very clean and the staff was professional and friendly.

They are having a sewage problem and the smell is awful. Our room smelled so bad the entire time. Could not cancel since I didn’t purchase the insurance but I would not recommend staying until the problem is fixed. The lobby and first floor smelled also. When we checked in I asked if they were having a sewage problem and she said yes they were working on it but when I checked out and they asked how they stay was I said great other than the smell, he tried telling me it was mulch. I think they need to get there answers straight. The smell is the only reason I gave the rating I did. They have full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Shower was nice and hot and towels a nice size. Bed could be a little better but not bad for staying a night.

Staff were all great! Had issues with the first room and was easily switched to a different room. Room cleanliness was not what I am used to. Unexpectedly my son had to stay the first night leaving him to use the "fold out couch" the mattress looked dirty and the underlying area full of crumbs and dirt. There were no blankets in the room for the bed.

Have stayed here many times. My room was extremely clean as usual. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

One of the Queen bed sheets appeared dirty to us. There was black dirt in several areas near the pillows.

The hotel was clean, and smelled clean. Thankfully! The breakfast was good as well with multiple choices. It was quiet and in a nice safe area.

I thought the property and breakfast was OK but I paid for a Executive King Suite. The living room was merely an extension of the bedroom so it was a actually a mini suite. The frustrating point for me was that there was NO lighting or lamps in the sitting room except for a small table lamp. I called to the front desk and asked about lighting but they told me there was none. We spend 4 days in the suite and it was hard to maneuver in the room with no lighting. For the price we paid there should be adequate lighting. Otherwise the place was clean and nice.

The is a very very clean hotel. The rooms are spacious and updated. We were pleasantly surprised how clean the pool was and my kids had a fabulous time swinging. So happy with our stay.

The property and room were very clean unfortunately the AC unit was extremely loud and I didn't get a good nights sleep.

We had no tv for our first night. We changed rooms the next day.

Property is convenient and easy to access. Rooms are clean and modern. Hwy 77 highway noise would be the only drawback.

Internet service was terrible! Water pressure in shower 3 out of 10. Breakfast nice with pleasant service. Air conditioner sounded like a washer with rocks in it. $10 charge showed up that was not authorized.

Everything was great, my only criticism is there was NO water pressure in the shower.

Hotel was very nice. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The only downfall was when we checked in even at 5 o’clock we had to be downgraded from a king suite to a regular king because they did not have rooms ready even at 5 o’clock. The family ahead of us in line wasn’t even able to check into their room until after the concert because of rooms not being ready. They said it had something to do with high tier Marriott members that get to check out late. The hotel needs to plan this better and accordingly because it’s not fair to other people to have to wait and yet pay full price while someone else is allowed to check out late

I had trouble checking in. I drove 3:30 hrs after work and when I reached to Fairfield inn they didn’t have the room I booked. They didn’t have room for me and my kids. We had to wait at reception they said they cannot find any room but they can give us pull out bed and we got smaller room with pull out bed which was not fitting in our room. It was not pleasant experience I felt like to cry as I was too tired

Check in was an hour late. Come to find out you guys “moved me to another hotel” I didn’t get any notification until after we checked in. The staff was not friendly, kind of rude actually. House keeping came in to clean our “checked out” room before we actually checked out and hour and a half before check out time. I will never stay here again.

Everything was good but had issues with checking in had to pay twice (double) and deal with a hassle to finally get a refund now I’m waiting for my money back that I shouldn’t of had to spend

Check in is at 3pm. We arrived at 630pm and we're told the room wasn't ready and it would be awhile. The room charge was also $50 more than listed on your site and I had to have the clerk verify it. He said they changed in in their system and he would correct it. But instead he charged me $26 more.

When we arrived at the hotel, they said our room was canceled and that hotels.com should have arranged A different hotel in the area for us to stay at. However, no arrangements were made and we had to drive almost two hours out of the area to get another hotel at 11:30 at night.

The young lady at the front desk was very kind and let us know multiple times if we needed anything to let her know. The breakfast attendant was also very kind and attentive

Not service animal friendly, Fairfield Inn & Suites Akron Fairlawn We usually have good experiences at Marriott properties anywhere in the world. Because I have a disability, I have a small service animal. When we checked in we requested first floor accommodations. They gave a first floor room. The A/C was working, but the unit was so loud, I told my husband, "There is no way we can sleep in here for three nights. Even if they only have two queen beds instead of a king bed on this floor, that would work." It is my understanding, there were no other rooms available on the ground floor. While I stayed in the first room, my husband checked out some other rooms. The hotel gave a room on the fourth floor. The room was perfect. While unloading our baggage, unbeknownst to us, our dog's leash fell on the ground. Since we couldn't find the leash; we ended up buying another. Later on, my husband found the leash on the lobby counter. The next day we get a call from the front desk saying we need to pay an extra $60 pet cleaning fee. I went to the front desk and explained that my dog is a service animal, & according to the ADA (American Disabilities Act), it is illegal to charge a pet cleaning fee. Mr. Bill said it didn't matter. He said, "There are rooms on the first floor specifically for service animals." When I explained that we requested a room on the first floor and the one given had an a/c unit that sounded like a jet engine about to take off, & that we couldn't stay in that room

The front desk receptionist was on point, and very hospitable! I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel close to highways and restaurants.

Close to cuyahoga national park also with in 20 minutes of Stan Hyatt and Gardens

Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and expressway. Staff was nice. Room was clean. Breakfast was good and different options.

We have stayed here a few times when we were in town to see a show at Blossom. It takes about 10-15 minutes to get there. Lots of places to eat nearby. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nice hotel. Comfortable beds, very clean. There was s baseball team (minor league) staying in the hotel, and they did do some after game celebrating at night outside but inside was quiet. Close to great restaurants. Would stay again.

Room was clean, staff was nice. Not a bad drive to the blossom so it was perfect for after the concert!

We liked the quiet. The staff, and I mean all the staff, were nice and always said hi and asked how we were. Very personable, I like that. Room was clean and everything was in perfect working order. The breakfast was a nice touch, but during the week it could be available a little longer.

The staff of this hotel is exceptional! Especially Amy. We got there late in the evening after coming into town to attend a funeral. We needed linens for the sofa bed, when the plastic bag didn't contain a blanket, Amy got.one up to our room while we were in the hot tub. I let her know that we'd ordered Door Dash and she kept and eye out and let us know when it arrives. You could just tell she'd have done about anything to ensure we had a good stay. And thank you to Miss Rosa for replenishing the pearl sugar waffles. She even brought them over to the table where we were sitting. She kept that breakfast area near as a pin and was very kind.
