Ein grundsätzlich nettes Appartment in guter Laufentfernung bis Downtown Anchorage. Der eine oder andere Einrichtungsgegenstand könnte einen Austausch vertragen, das Sofa in Nr. 7 war z.B. komplett durchgesessen. Wofür das Appartment nichts kann: permanentes Gehupe der Eisenbahn, auch gerne mitten in der Nacht. In der Kombi wäre das Arctic Fox Inn auch künftig eine Option für uns, aber ggf. nicht die erste Wahl.

Unit 5 was great as it is on the top floor and away from the parking area. Has a nice view of distant trees and water in the living room. Kitchen was great for making tea/breakfast and storing/reheating leftovers from the tasty Anchorage eateries. Location is slightly colorful with some homeless shelters in the area but I always felt safe. I walked to and from the train station both days which was great. It was also an easy walk to downtown. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING - my unit was available for early check-in on my day of arrival - AND - when I wanted to tack on 1 additional night they gave me a deal. Thanks Jeff and Jessica and (Natalie?) - you all 3 were SUPER HELPFUL and accommodating. Will DEFINITELY stay here again anytime I am in Anchorage!

The unit was clean although the Furnishings were uncomfortable especially the beds. The kitchen was very functional and clean and the bathroom was very well kept. The most difficult revelation for me was the location of the apartment. It is a very low income and impoverished neighborhood. The apartment is at the end of a driveway across from a rehab center and a homeless feeding location. It was a very scary experience for me as a single woman. Even the Uber drivers were concerned for me. It's unfortunate that a well-kept two-bedroom apartment is in such a bad neighborhood. I wish I was informed of this because I never would have paid the price I paid for such a location. For a few more dollars I would have been in a safe hotel room with security. The other challenge is that the unit is next to the train tracks and it is very noisy.
