Parking was great and easy staff where great bar was easy and convenient

A good solid place to stay. Spacious room with larger than average fridge, table and chair setting and under cover parking. Meals delivered to the room, including wood fired pizza . Across the road from the waterway, parks, walking paths.

I found this to be a good, family friendly hotel with a convenient restaurant that offers hearty meals and a pleasant atmosphere. The family-sized room I booked was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is adjacent to waterside parkland, is close to shops, and offers a good base to explore the island from.

The Good: Water front location with a sunset views over the Glass House Mountain's. Comfortable and very clean accommodation. Good selections of foods and cocktails. Entertainment of some kind every night. Close to all major shopping malls etc. The Bad: i was there on a Monday afternoon and stood at the bar for over 10 minutes whilst one staff member attended to another customer. Another staff member fluttered about seemingly doing nothing until I asked her if I could possibly get a beer. I found most staff seemingly not interested in customer service and only taking action when approached in person.

Average motel at the back of the hotel - first impression was not positive - room was old but clean - had microwave and toaster and knives and forks. Outdoor area was not well maintained and not really conducive to sitting and having a drink - a bit yuck really! On a positive note the staff were lovely and very helpful - the complimentary Brekky packs were amazing and chine delivery from Sun Lai was the best Chinese I have had in ages

This property exceeded our expectations. Freshly renovated. Clean. Big room. Walk in shower. Good water pressure. 5 second walk to pub. Undercover carpark at your door. Property was better than some of the large name accommodations we have stayed in over the last 7 weeks.

The units were clean and spacious. With the hotel attached they atmosphere was relaxed and there was food and live entertainment. Great place to stay

That it was close to the hotel facilities

Great pizza and out door area for the kids. Very convenient location for parking our truck.

I don’t know why this property doesn’t get a rating in the high-4’s. Rooms clean and nice - lots of space and generous carport parking right outside the door of the room - can’t ask for more than that. The food in the pub was great too with happy staff!

The queen bed had bed bugs

Neat, clean, a fab Smart TV and a very comfortable bed.

Over priced for the lack of cleaning. There was blood snot in the shower the cutlery was dirty. It’s pub accommodation I get that but the price should reflect that, at $338.50 a night it did not.

There was a dirty (stinky) towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door and outside area (patio) looked like it hadn’t been swept for 6 months, although sheets and towels were clean and bed comfortable enough.

Room was dirty and had not been cleaned. Carpet was wet and woom smelt like bleach. Very unpleasant stay but served its purpose as somehwere to stay for the night.

Poor cleanliness of the room. Found cockroaches in the cabinets and around the room.

Clean rooms, crisp linen

Excellent staff, lovely clean room, plenty of space. Ate in the bistro and can recommend tis to all.

The property is very old and in need for maintenance and repairs. No one got any sleep with room 17 partying all night until 4am. Location was great for an event we attend but now wish we had just paid $200 to uber home.

Typical Aussie Hotel/Motel. A tad run down. Room was large. Decor was tired but mostly clean. Bed was comfortable.

The rooms are tired & need updating for the cost There aren’t curtains over each window so light pours through from 5am! Plus the air conditioning unit was so noisy - but too humid to not have it on

Good for the price. Parking outside the door, bistro just around the corner. For staying at a pub it was very quiet at night. (Tuesday + Wednesday) The room was good with mini fridge, microwave, table and chairs, with plenty of space. The single bed was comfortable but the double bed is probably due for an update. I would stay there again.

Great food in the bistro the room side of the property was basic, no WiFi no milk in fridge some coffee sticks were hard and a bit of a smell in the room when you first entered. It was clean though so quite OK for a short stay

Obviously catering more to business or one nighters! Not great for holiday accommodation in my book. Cleaning Staff were great but the Hotel Staff lacked knowledge of food, beverages and accommodation. The venue is close to local shops, has lunch and dinner, no breakfast option. The rooms are fairly basic but clean, tidy and well appointed with small fridge, microwave, kettle, hairdryer etc A wardrobe and comfy bed(s). The shower was not very constant going hot & cold but bearable! Plenty of towels and loo paper! Drinks were quite expensive. Food reasonable although menu hadnt changed in two years since the last time we visited. There is a Seniors menu with slightly smaller portions. They have a roast of the day and a special. We had a storm while we were there and the slider door rattled a lot in the wind!! Walls are not very soundproof between the units. There is Air conditioning and this works well.

There was an unpleasant plasticky smell in both the room and the fridge. The fridge was connected but not making or keeping things cold. Otherwise the room was well presented and clean. Restaurant was great.

Extremely slow check in and then they double booked our room, so went we turned up to the room there was someone else in our room.

It was a great place to stay and staff were good, easy check in, when you found check-in , but overall a nice place to stay

Location fantastic. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and good amenities.

Room was not ready by check in time. Room was not serviced after first day despite signage placed on the door asking that the room be cleaned and new towels requested. Had to ask office for new towels. sugar, coffee, plates etc. Staff were apologetic and provided a meal voucher, but overall we were disappointed with our stay.

Very comfortable and the staff were excellent. Good food and the unit was clean and well resourced. Well done.

Was very slow at getting checked in. Staff didn’t engage for over 5mins. Then the girl taking food orders said hi I have called for someone to help you (she was nice and polite) Then the restaurant manager who had been standing at the pass with another girl for ages came to help. She didn’t really know how to log in. Eventually after about 15min I got the key. Then just after 7am there was an annoying noise. They were mowing etc. It was my 40th birthday the day before and with the nice cool rainy morning was looking forward to a nice sleep in without my children. Unfortunately that didn’t happen.

Very friendly, accommodating manager and staff when I was in a highly distressed state. Not encouraging others to go here for THAT purpose. I did not act appropriately towards end of my stay. At all. I would not expect them to accommodate anyone's behavior the way they did mine. I'd had just come from an extremely traumatic experience and my behavior was 100% unacceptable. A support worker had to explain my circumstances. They were extremely compassionate given that they didn't have to be. Do not think for a second you can go there and behave in the completely disrespectful and threatening way I did. It will not be tolerated. I had to be hospitalised as a result of my behavior. Traumatised or not; no excuse. My behaviour was not my usual self. My support worker explained this. I am just very thankful that nothing further was done to reprimand me for my behavior. It had to be explained to me as I couldn't remember any of it. I'm ashamed. And I sincerely apologise. It was declared Acute Psychosis. Yes; there was reason behind it. But it had 100% NOTHING to do with the hotel, management or other staff. Thank you to the hotel for being compassionate when realistically, they had absolutely no reason to be. From what was relayed to me by my support worker, who knew it was 100% out of character for me? They had every reason to place me under arrest. They did EVERYTHING they could to try and help me. My mental state had gone beyond any state of acceptable conduct

Rude staff. Unhelpful and abrupt Mucked up my booking and bill me $500 more than they should have and weren’t even sorry about it

The staff at Bribie Island Hotel were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our time at the Hotel a terrific stay. Highly recommend if requiring accommodation around the area!

1 night stay, family of four. Spacious room. Easy to get anywhere on the island from the hotel. Little breakfast pack that came with the stay was great.

Nice accommodation, right across the road from the beach, good for a walk to relax after a long day. Room was nice and clean, very comfortable bed. Breakfast pack was included, basic but good for light breakfast. Hotel had great food.

The Bribie Island Hotel is a great place to stay as it's right near the entry to the island and has lots of entertainment right on site. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bed was comfortable and the location is great to Sandstone Point.

Great location,close proximity to estuary boardwalk shops. Well cared for estabishment, with friendly helpful staff. Would be happy to recommend to family and friends.

No sooner you cross the Bribie Bridge you’re there parking is easy convenient to the hotel and the food at the hotel was excellent in particular the pizza, staff service excellent fantastic couple of days break

The only issue was the cost of food and drinks.

the hotel was a great location and very comfy and clean. There was no coffee only tea a bit of a disappointment due to the fact I needed coffee at 6am also was unaware that the music would be playing until 9pm and was thudding in our room. We ate in the restaurant which was over priced. we ordered 3 barramundi's on the picture it looked nice and plenty on the plate but when it arrived is was so small we had to order chips to compensate. My pizza was nice but was supposed to be meat Lovers and it was mainly ham. Definitely would not eat at the restaurant and would not recommend it.

The check in was easy to locate with good signage, the continental breakfast was a bonus and the room was great. Good size well fitted out and exceptionally clean and quiet. As a lone traveler I felt safe and secure
