Room is lovely with the fireplace and stunning view, especially with the hot tub it’s very unique!! Only thing with the room is there was no shower curtain and the bathroom gets wet easily. The pool was also not heated and didn’t look like filtration was on so we didn’t use it plus you have to walk outside to get to the pool as it’s not a hotel complex more like a motel with the rooms separate, which I didn’t expect. The restaurant is also not available because it’s closed due to storm damage and this was disappointing because the view from there is meant to be beautiful. They should have put a notice on their website about this when booking. It’s not good enough to have it in the confirmation email which when to my junk mail.

This hotel has the potential to be brought back to life . Pleasant clean room with a lovely large spa bath in the room looking out to the trees and mountain . Downsides . Not a huge deal but need to be mentioned . No restaurant or spa facilities ( despite this still being on signage) . No wifi or smart tv ( we managed but could be a deal breaker for some ) . Dishes have to be washed in the bathroom basin ( dish liq and cloth provided but no tea towell 🤔) bed quite hard , Freeway noise always in background as not far away .

The room was comfortable with beautiful views. Everyone was helpful within what they could provide. However, the bathroom shower seal was loose and water went all over the floor making it very unsafe. No information was provided that the restaurant was closed, resulting in us having to go out for meals. The breakfast option was limited and expensive.

We wish there was access to cafe/ dining. Water in pool was very cold. Limited opportunities for spa treatments due to renovations. However we did enjoy our stay. Room was very clean & plenty of hot water for spa.

This is not a hotel, at best it’s a motel. The rooms are rundown and out of date. We had to fix the wheel on the sliding door as it wouldn’t open to enter the bathroom, when we did get in the bathroom the stench coming from the drains were disgusting. Couldn’t get any help from staff as there was literally nobody there. The dining room is permanently closed, the spa you have to book in advance as there wasn’t anyone actually onsite, the indoor pool was freezing and being filled with the garden hose. The only plus was the bed was comfortable. Definitely not worth the money!

Poor lighting around the spa, the spa took a while to fill up. Bed bugs that my partner was covered in this morning and being itchy and red all over. The water in the shower is poor and not strong at all. The heater stunk as well. Needs a good clean.

Beautiful view and had a lovely spa but… would not choose to stay again at the price as rooms and furniture are old (90s). Bed was lumpy. Bathroom floor grout was dirty. Silicon needs replacing around shower. Shower-head needs replacing or a good clean. Strange design upgrades with access to bathroom through the sliding wardrobe door and a built in CRT Television concealed with a picture on it.

The room had amazing views, so beautiful and a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset. The morning was so lovely to watch the fog rise off the mountain and see the bunnies running around. We were disappointed that there was an odour in our bathroom, we moved the diffuser to try and cover the smell but we could still smell it. When I had a shower the water was luke warm, when we had a spa the water was Luke warm so I had to keep boiling the kettle to add some boiling water to make it a reasonable temp.

Stayed in a Deluxe Room. Room was nice, clean and had enough space. Staff are very friendly as well. Only two downsides, one being that there's no Wi-Fi. In saying that, we were barely in the room. Secondly, you can hear the spa jets in adjacent rooms if they're on. In the hotels defence however, they do ask that you don't turn it on after 10pm. Not their fault some people can be inconsiderate.

Property quite run down Room was quite nice and well equipped but it appeared that everything else at the resort had been deserted. King bed was quite hard and uncomfortable (2 singles pusher together with topper)

The stay was good, and the reception desk was very friendly. Check-in is easy, and lots of parking. The room was big enough, although I would have liked extra towels in the room. It was great to have a microwave, toaster, and kettle in the room, but I didn't feel comfortable washing my dishes in the bathroom sink. Keep in mind if you are coming up on a Tuesday. Most shops and some restaurants are closed. Hotel staff were helpful and recommended a few eateries.

We could not even check-in as there was no-one at reception when we arrived at 4.15pm on a Sunday afternoon.

The Hotel was very enjoyable. My room gave off a warm cosy vibe and was quite spacious. The spa being an added bonus. A very short trip out of Woodend, which is great for having a drink or meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a Deluxe Room. Room was nice, clean and had enough space. Staff are very friendly as well. Only two downsides, one being that there's no Wi-Fi. In saying that, we were barely in the room. Secondly, you can hear the spa jets in adjacent rooms if they're on. In the hotels defence however, they do ask that you don't turn it on after 10pm. Not their fault some people can be inconsiderate.

The property condition is average, spa is impressive, cleanliness is good . Shower is leaking. The location is in the middle of nowhere, have to drive 7 km to the restaurant and supermarket. Surrounding area so dark , no lighting on the road.

Nice hotel, we did hear a bit of road noise from the nearby freeway but not to bad. They have rules around running in room spa's between certain hours not sure everyone abides by those rules. However it was a pleasant stay.

The room was comfortable with beautiful views. Everyone was helpful within what they could provide. However, the bathroom shower seal was loose and water went all over the floor making it very unsafe. No information was provided that the restaurant was closed, resulting in us having to go out for meals. The breakfast option was limited and expensive.

The view from our room was great. It will be good once the Restaurant reopens. I feel that the rooms will need some refurbishing in the near future, otherwise it was serviceable enough.

We wish there was access to cafe/ dining. Water in pool was very cold. Limited opportunities for spa treatments due to renovations. However we did enjoy our stay. Room was very clean & plenty of hot water for spa.

We had a nice few days staying at this hotel. It has so much potential, it's a shame that it seems to be a bit deserted. Contrary to some of the reviews we read, we didnt have any issues with bugs. The room we stayed in was spacious and the spa bath is lovely. There was no daily room service (which didn't bother us at all, but probably shouldn't be advertised because I know some people like to have their rooms made up on holiday). The restaurant is also closed (which we were informed about pre-arrival) and nothing within walking distance, but overall it's a nice, affordable base-camp in the area for a couple of nights.

I must say we were underwhelmed by our experience staying here. They show photos of the restaurant and day spa. Both were closed all weekend. No one at reception to ask for dinner recommendations when we arrived at 3pm as they had closed the office at 1pm but we had been sent a message via the Hotels.com app that we needed to unlock a key box which was pretty simple to do. Our room felt very run down, broken tiles around the base of the spa, the shower leaks. The location and views are nice but don’t look too closely at the garden directly outside our window as it’s full of weeds and very unkept. The gas fire was on when we got there and the room was nice and warm which was a nice touch.
