The shower gel dispenser was difficult to use properly but nothing major. The motel is well located with only a short walk to many restaurants and a supermarket close by. It is also located close to SH2 which make it easy access.

Basic but very clean and tidy accomodation. Good service when checking in and free on site car parking is great. Just a walk over the road to the beach, and a walk down the street to great restaurants, cafes and shops.

Aspects of the room not maintained and run down. No heating in bathroom, it was like a fridge the night/morning we were there. Overall OK for a bed and shower for one night. Very good location on the scenic Petone foreshore and a short walk to Jackson Street. We enjoyed walking the neighbour and taking in the historic buildings and facades.

Our Foreshore unit while clean and well provisioned was a disapointment. Tiny, cramped and more than a little tired, the interior of our unit certianly did not reflect the lovely brick facade outside.

Clean room, sufficient facilities, helpful reception, quiet area. Unfortunately just paid for 2 nights when Interislander ferry cancelled our sailing due forecast bad weather. Managed to pull sailing forward but lost second night money. Not Motel fault. Area mixed with lot of commercial around.

Close proximity to the foreshore, and Jackson St for browsing multiple second hand stores for books and plenty of dining options. It is somewhat dated but clean and the bed was comfortable except for the hard plastic circle from the electric blanket that tended to gravitate into the right side of the bed. There was only 1 bedside lamp - none on the right hand side on which I sleep and like to read from before sleep. In the kitchenette there was only 1 teaspoon and the dessert spoons were more the size of serving spoons. Overall quite adequate for our 2 night stay

This property was dirty overall. The walls were dirty, the shower needed a good clean, the room smelt. The bathroom which faced the main road had no blinds for privacy; even though the glass was frosted it still would not provide the respectable privacy required. Overpriced at $179 per night. Stayed at several hotels during our tour of NZ that were cheaper and were excellent.

This was one of the better motels we have stayed at. We stayed 8 nights visiting family. It was very convenient to the motorway, just across from the beach and near toJackson streets many Op shops. The unit had everything we needed- a good shower, a comfy bed and clean towels daily. We had some washing done for us reasonably priced. It was collected and returned to us dry same day. We would stay here again.

I was travelling on my own and felt very safe here. The lady at reception was lovely and it was so good to see a friendly smile after the very long day I had gone through. I slept well for the two nights I was there. Will stay again.

When i arrived i found the expedia website had changed my search criteria from 3 adults to 2 adults. I showed the staff member my search criteria from my phone which was in my history. I therefore had to pay an additional 40.00. I selected the motel because of the reviews and the price. I probably wouldnt have selected that motel as i could have got cheaper one.

Property is substanndard and should not be listed on your website. Poorly managed, we were wokenby herphone call asking when we arriving!! Next night, noisy party from 10.30pm to 1.30am. Ihad to try and shut it down. Never going there again.

The property was ideally situated for me to take a short stroll to where I was working. But there is no shortage of choice when it comes to, pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, or hardware, and a wide selection of boutique breweries and shops.

Basic but very clean and tidy accomodation. Good service when checking in and free on site car parking is great. Just a walk over the road to the beach, and a walk down the street to great restaurants, cafes and shops.

Aspects of the room not maintained and run down. No heating in bathroom, it was like a fridge the night/morning we were there. Overall OK for a bed and shower for one night. Very good location on the scenic Petone foreshore and a short walk to Jackson Street. We enjoyed walking the neighbour and taking in the historic buildings and facades.

It was a nice and affordable hotel! It's close to shops and close to the beach! There is 1 parking space allocated for you in front of your room and plenty of parking on the street! The driveway is a bit narrow so I suggest parking on the street if you have a big car! We stayed during winter so the beds having an electric blanket was a nice touch! It doesn't have a heat pump but there is a room wall/room heater and an electric fan provided. The twin rooms were located near the main road so it is very noisy. You can hear the cars passing by at any time of the hour which made it difficult for a light sleeper like me to fall asleep. So if you're a light sleeper, I don't recommend getting the twin rooms. It is an old motel so the door locks are not modern locks. Other than that, it is a fairly good place for its price.
