Park Tower Inn

The room had no toilet paper holder, the light fixtures had bugs, the pool was freezing and the jacuzzi was broken, and the hotel smelled of mildew. For a weekend stay a $200+ per night this was unacceptable!

Ice machine didn't work and elevator too

WiFi was total crap, the “kitchen” sink made barely just a dribble so was impossible to wash any dishes. The bed wasn’t so comfortable, one side had what seemed to be a hole in it. Smelled very chemically, walked to the indoor pool and the chlorine about took me out and the water wasn’t very clear, like you could tell it had a ton of chemicals in it so we didn’t even attempt to use it. The breakfast was good, wish they had had yogurts but overall was good. Service was friendly, we stayed 4 nights (Thurs night-Mon morning) and they came into the room and cleaned up Friday and Saturday while we were out and replaced towels and all which was nice. Visit was ok, but probably won’t stay again. They just went through a renovation or something and it didn’t seem the rooms received much renovating, lobby was very pretty tho!

There was only 1 elevator that worked and only one ice machine. And they both on the lobby floor and we were on 4th floor. There were signs everywhere for sorry about construction.

The elevator on one end of the building doesn't work. From our room we had to either take 4 flights of stairs or walk all the way to the other end of the building. A inconvenience for sure, especially when going to ice machine or pool which was 4 flights down from our room.

The hotel was dated and we were on the 5th floor there was remodeling in progress that has not been completed so you can tell the halls were under construction the rooms were clean shower was ok water would not turn all the way off but it didn’t keep us up staff was the best part they were so friendly and helpful. Pools were ok indoor pool smelled like bleach and the water was murky the lazy river was warm and clear the hot tub was cold one night and hot the next 2 nights but the jets would not work the elevator to go to the pool was out so you had to go down stairs from the first floor to get to the indoor pool. We did enjoy our stay just some cosmetic stuff that could do with an upgrade

Staff was super friendly. Check in was quick. We were given a room that hadn't been cleaned yet by mistake but the young man @ the front desk was apologetic & straightened it out quickly. Room was clean but was pretty dusty. Hotel is under construction for updating. Room was good size. Shower head was low so my husband had to duck but water was nice & hot. Balcony was nice. Pool was cold but was described as heated. Hot tub was hot but the jets were broke so no bubbles & the it had chips out of the walls & floor. Lazy river was nice but not heated as described. Was to chilly to go to outside pool. Breakfast was not good. Amazing location close to everything. Very walkable. Were there 8 nights & it did suit our needs. It is older & being renovated. Would stay again for the convenience of the location & friendliness of staff. Price was good. Had multiple ares of parking.

The hottub wasn't working and the pool was ice cold

The property says it's under construction, never seen anything being worked on. Ice machines are only on floors 1&2. One working elevator. The rooms were good, the hallways were poorly taken care of. The major complaint is house keeping took our trash can and we requested it being returned which never happened. So I had to buy trash bags to keep the room picked up. The staff was friendly at the front desk. The lady who runs the breakfast looked like she could kill. Don't ask her anything she was spitfire at 7 am. The pools were very clean and nice. The lazy river did have some sharp areas where the vents were so if your walking the river be careful. Not a bad hotel, would stay again but it def could use some upgrades.

The carpets turned your feet black, there was hair and stains on the linens and towels, the man at the front desk said they do not have blankets, after only having a sheet on the bed with no blanket or comforter on arrival. The door to the patio was broken and falling off, only one out of, I dont even know how many, elevators worked in the hotel. You had to go down 4 floors and to the other side of the hotel to get any ice... the place was literally falling apart and filthy.

The hotel was so bad we left 30 minutes after check in because the hotel was awful. There was mold in the carpet, the bedding was dirty with nail clipping and body hair. The room had a musky smell that took your breath. Worst hotel that I’ve ever experienced. Will not recommend or stay there ever again.

We checked out without 10 minutes of arriving. The places smelled like weed, the carpets were beyond dirty, the sheets were stained, you could see the springs in the bed, the bathroom floors were filthy.

Check in was great, nice and easy, I was given a key to the 6th floor. Only one elevator was working so that was a little annoying. Once I held the card up to the door and opened it the smell of carpet freshner smacks you in the face. The air conditioner was on granted it was 40 something degrees outside. I always check the ac filter on these little ptac units to see if they are being maintained cause they just slide up. They were very neglected so i took them to the bathroom and cleaned them in the bathtub. Couldnt breathe anyways from the carpet freshner so i thought that may help by cl3aning the filters. To my dismay it did not. Struggled breathing all night because of it. Woke up the next went to breakfast, tried the biscuits and gravy and lets just say the gravy was like water i put it on the biscuits and it didnt coat them at all. The biscuit was the same color before i even applied it. As the time progressed i noticed little welps on my arms and hands which seemed to itch profoundly. Went to the walk in and they seemed to be bed bug bites. So beware.

The floors are disgustingly dirty.One elevator works in the whole hotel(6 floors) and one ice maker in the building.Asked to moved because of my handicap husband and they didn’t try to accommodate us.

There were bugs everywhere and it was an overall unsanitary hotel. Disgusting.

Unclean room, unclean hallways, bad strong smell, dirty laundry and bugs in tub, room had campground bunk beds and a unmade queen bed and no chairs! We booked a king room. Couldn't breathe from the oder so i only got one pic and ran out. We reported it and got a signed invoice from clerk showing we didn't stay! Now they refuse to give me a refund!!! Not only am I upset with the Hotel but also Hotels.com!! I provided proof of non-stay and now told no refund! How can anyone trust this site from now on to provide accommodations as booked?!! This needs to be made right! 9 hours of driving and arrived to a nightmare!!! This review page will not allow me to post my pic!

The whole place was filthy. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom had black and green mold. All the light covers were broken and there was no cover on the electrical outlet. The carpet was so dirty I was afraid to take off my shoes

While a bit plain it was clean despite the renovation going on. Service was fantastic breakfast was very good. Has 2 pools indoor and outdoor hot tub. We had our own balcony which was very nice. Comfortable and definitely would stay here again

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was huge and we could not believe how spacious it was, there were 3 adults and 2 children and we were never on top of each other. The hotel does need updating and new furnishings, they are looking worn, but it seemed clean. The beds were comfortable. We would stay again. Pam in NC

Showing it's age. Can really use renovating. Bed and pillows made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. AC was loud. But price was good, staff attentive and location was good Did not use pools so cannot comment on those. Breakfast room was small; but again did not eat there so cannot comment on the food.

Check in service was very quick and easy went up to the room using the one available elevator the other two were not working we could tell that the room was older due to the age of the hotel overall the room was very clean The bedding could have been better one comforter had a burn mark in it from I believe it was a cigarette not sure. Bathroom could stand to be updated with a shower instead of a tub that would make it easier on the older guests that we seen that was using the hotel a lot. Went down to the indoor pool and lazy river was not real crowded. The whole hotel could stand to be updated with the pool area renovated which it looked like it was started but never finished The indoor pool was kind of cool but needed to be updated lazy river definitely needed more tubes didn't use the breakfast until our second to last day so couldn't really say much on that The toilet was slow flushing when I informed the front desk of this they said that they would get it taken care of right away of course we didn't have a real big problem with it till it was time to leave overall very modest motel for the price and for the distance to the attractions Will possibly stay here again

The whole hotel needs serious renovation. Carpets throughout were discussing and the beds were are probably 20 plus years old.

This place needs a major overhaul. The room carpet was stained. The bed was horrible it had major dips where you slept. The location was the only thing that was good. If they update this place and replace the furniture it would be idea

The staff was friendly. However, housekeeping did not come to replace towels or toilet paper. We had to go to front desk. I was not a fan of that. We stayed from 7/4/25 thru 7/11/25. Housekeeping didn't start providing clean towels to our room until Wednesday 7/9/25.

Staff was awesome, very accommodating. The hotel is being updated at this time, so some places are still outdated. Not a problem really. Wish there was better parking. Not their fault though, hotel is on a hillside.

Rooms were okay understand that hotel is remodeling. Asked maid for clean towels did give her the dirty ones acted like she did not understand a word I was saying and only gave me one towel there was 2 of us.

We show up to check in. I was handed a room key and after I was handed the key I was told it was on the 1st floor. This was not the room we booked online. He said this room was all he could give me. I asked him why we could not have the room we booked weeks in advance. He said this room was all they could offer. So I said, you are not going to give us the room we booked and paid in full online for? He again handed me the key and pointed 4 steps from the desk where rhis new room was. I walked over as he wanted me to look opened the door went back to the desk and said there is no way we booked a suite with a kitchen and seperate bedroom and this looked like was a dark closet that smelled bad from the door and what I could see of the bed it looked unmade. I said here is the key this will not work and we booked a very different room. I showed him our reservation and he said again the room you booked is not available. I said I don't understand why we reserved it weeks ago. Then he said well it is non refundable and we had to take what he had. I said no we do not. We want what we reserved or you can note that we were not given what we booked and we can leave. 2 days later Expedia said the Hotel told them we stayed there. I told them check them desk cameras it will show we did not. Worst experience ever. I cannot believe we traveled all that way to be left with no where to stay and told we could not have what we booked or our money back. Pics don't match the property as well.

Bunkbed in room rail was broken. Fridge door wouldn’t shut because it was froze over . Housekeeping only came in twice of our 5 day stay and only took the large garbage we had to get clean towels. Fire alarm went off and there were no instructions to all clear. Elevators broke and when my elderly mother called concerned because she’s on a scooter the rep got rude and said we know and hung up. After all this and talking to 3 people one finally apologized and processed a credit for one night.

While i had a nice time, i have stayed here many time. The place is clean but in three years the hotel is not nearly complete with the remodel. I was not happy that I had to go down to the 1st floor every time I wanted ice. The staff is very nice and takes care of problems quickly.

The light over the sink didn’t work, the furniture had a dry juice on it, they just kept taking towels, I had to keep going downstairs to get more. But the guy at the front desk was pleasant and busy every time I saw him.

The rooms were really clean and the whole place smells good. Elevator went down while we were there and had to walk the stairs to the 6th floor. Wasn’t a bad walk and they had the elevators up and going again. You have restaurants and The island walking distance from the hotel. Staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay again!

I like that it was close to food and shopping. walking distance to pigeon forge Island. Also served breakfast if u are a early bird 6am -9am

The hotel is right in the middle of all of the area attractions. Walkable. Easy parking. A little dated with some wear and tear.

We have stayed there before and will stay again. The hotel is within walking distsnce of the Island and other things of interest. The hotel was undergoing renovations so there were some inconveniences such as having to quite a distance to get to an ice machine and the elevator near our room was out of service. Our room was nice and clean and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony.

We really enjoyed it. It was close to the main strip and traveling the back roads helped with the traffic. We will be staying there again

The bed was hard. The pool area was unkempt. The breakfast waz severely lacking; sausage hasn't cooked, eggs weren't good, gravy for biscuits very runny and liquidy, apple juice tasted on the verge of rancid. The noise of the kids running/bouncing overhead was very loud. Only one of the 2 elevators worked. Very disappointing

It was a great stay. The kids especially loved that the indoor pool and lazy river stayed open til 2AM! Only thing that was disappointing was that the breakfast wasn’t available during our stay bc the worker didn’t show up, but I realize that was out of their control.

Staff was nice and friendly. The room was decent, but the facilities are very outdated and run down. Breakfast was very limited and not good at all.

There were several areas that could be improved during our stay: -The room door was swollen and very difficult to open or close—we had to use our body weight to push it open and slam it shut. -Breakfast was consistently out of food whenever we arrived, and we waited over 30 minutes each time for anything to be replenished. -The sheets did not fit the bed properly and kept popping off throughout the night. -We found trash from the previous guest still on the floor when we arrived, which made the room feel unclean. -The sink water was dangerously hot, even when not turned to the hottest setting. It created a lot of steam and even burned our hands. -The shower temperature and water pressure were inconsistent—scalding in the morning (even on the lowest setting), and lukewarm with very low pressure in the afternoon. -The hot tub jets were not working, and both the pool and hot tub areas were in poor condition, with chipped surfaces and visible trash. -The elevator near our room was out of service, which meant a long walk to the only working elevator. Overall, we were disappointed by the maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout the property. Addressing these concerns would significantly improve guest comfort and satisfaction.

Breakfast was amazing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had crumbs here and there but it was ok. The pool and lazy river was fun. All in all a good value and a great stay. Even breakfast was good.

This property is having renovation did. Overall, the property is in good condition. The staff are very professional and helpful. The breakfast is good, and the hours for free breakfast are 6am-9am. Overall, on the scale of 1-10, I will give them an 8-scale review. My stay was decent there and I would go back to stay.

This is the type of hotel that is the bang for your buck. Its not a fancy place. You get what you pay for. Main reason I booked this hotel is for the price including a heated indoor lazy river and a indoor hot tub. It also had free breakfast which is one thing i always look for when booking a hotel. Although the breakfast food needs some improving i was suprised at the options. Eggs, roasted potatoes, sauteed peppers and onions, waffles, sausage, biscuts with a "very liquid" white gravy, toast, bagels, stale cereal.

The hotel is being worked on in the hallways, which is fine, just not pleasant to look at. The elevator did not work. Thankfully we were about to park outside the 2nd floor door. It would definitely not be fun for the floors above us. We went to breakfast one day only. We got there 845-9, the place was full and tons of people coming in. There was only waffles and potatoes. The pineapple juice, eggs, and sausage were never refilled. A staff member walked in, looked around, and left, never returning. In our bathroom only one light worked in the center of the room. The mirror light did not work, nor did the hairdryer. There was, what appeared to be mold (it was black) all along the outside of the shower. The ceiling tiles over the shower were very dark brown, almost black, and stained. Overall we will not be returning. This hotel used to be very nice, 20ish years ago. Unfortunately, time and lack of maintenance has not been its friend.
