Coast River Inn by OYO Seaside

Amazing all around!

For the past ten years i’ve booked a room at Coast River when I come to Seaside, OR. The three times i’ve come this year alone my experience has been not so great. From a bathroom door that didn’t close to a clean room with dirty towels on the floor instead of clean ones. I tried to use the shower this morning before packing up and checking out and I had no hot or warm water. The quality of this place has gone down over the years. I’ll be looking for a new location to stay moving forward.

Parking lot is tight - at least by the river facing rooms. If each guest isn't carefully in the lines - the rest of the line is crowded and it's near impossible to get your door open enough to in and out of your vehicle.

We booked two rooms and was pleased that it was next to each other. When we entered our first room, we were immediately welcomed with a weird smell (like someone was smoking mixed with cleaning products). We left to go to the next room and it too had a weird smell (leftover food with stinky socks). It was gross but we opened the window and turned on the fan to let some air out. Overall, it was okay place. The staff was quickly and helpful. The parking was good.
