Our most amazing hotel experience. Altough some of the bathroom facilities were a bit dated, it was without a doubt made up for by the patina and authenticity of the place, as well as the flawless service from everyone who works at the hotel. We went wine tasting at the local of the hotel for 35€ each and the guide was very knowledgable and was himself a wine producer from the Valpolicella area. The dinners at the hotel was also great. Thank you so much for the stay. Hope to see Villa Giona again.

Villa Elisa is a beautiful house in a fantastic town. It’s a perfect location if you plan to hike The Path of the Gods. It’s also a great location if you’re looking for a quiet town in the hills with great restaurants. An important point of clarification - in the property listing it states that it is 9 minute drive to Amalfi beach. This is not accurate. It is at least 30 minutes by bus and a taxi is about 90 euros. Also, both times we tried to take the bus from Agerola to Amalfi, it was full and we had to wait for the next one. The first time the next bus came 45 minutes later, the 2nd time it resulted in us missing a ferry and then missing our train to our next location. We would definitely stay again but to enjoy Agerola rather than Amalfi.

The owners were very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. The B&B is charming & located away from all the hustle and bustle of the coast, but the bus stop is within a short walk if transportation is needed to visit the Amalfi Coast towns. It is also located very close to the start of the path of the gods for any trekkers. The grounds are welcoming, and I spotted my first ever Whinchat, which was quite a thrill for an avid bird-watcher from Rochester, NY USA!

The location was beautiful, incredibly quiet and perfect to get away from the more touristy areas. The area has narrow streets, but it is walkable. The hosts were incredibly nice and accommodating, their hospitality is greatly appreciated. I needed some peace and quiet, this property gave me exactly the rest I needed.
