Loved the room, loved the location. Directly across from Pitti Palace and within walking distance to many great sites. A quick five minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We had a 2 bdrm/2 bath suite which was huge and having two bathrooms was great. Didn’t have much contact with reception but enjoyed our stayed. Shopping and restaurants all around. Would stay again.

I stayed in the deluxe suite and it was genuinely the most beautiful hotel room i’ve ever stayed in. It has a very italian feel (rustic, artistic and romantic) with modern bathrooms. The sauna was very much needed and the jetted bath was amazing. The staff as well were lovely and very accommodating. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay, thank you! I cannot wait to be back!

I stayed in the deluxe suite and it was genuinely the most beautiful hotel room i’ve ever stayed in. It has a very italian feel (rustic, artistic and romantic) with modern bathrooms. The sauna was very much needed and the jetted bath was amazing. The staff as well were lovely and very accommodating. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay, thank you! I cannot wait to be back!

All the staff we encountered were excellent, being most helpful on arrival as we were a little before check in and the housekeeper, Anna did everything she could to help with luggage and car arrangements as there is No parking on-site. Parking is 30 euro per day. Carolina was fabulous with her recommendations for restaurants and letting us know that the streets were closed on our departure day and helping us coordinate a plan with luggage loading with the garage. Directly across from the Pitti Palace, the location was perfect as it was out of the congestion in central Florence but no more than 10 minutes walk to all the central attractions over the Ponte de Vecchio bridge. The suite was incredibly well decorated and the bathroom luxurious! A wonderful location for a honeymoon or two seventy-year olds dream place!

The room has good paint on the wall which looks beautiful! Room is clean but pretty old and not quiet, you can hear the voice from you neighbor. Staff service is limited as they are not at the hotel most of the time (I feel this property is more like a B&B than a hotel). Not easy to call taxi, so plan earlier when you have to catch a train.

Definitely an amazing value for the price. Secret hidden bathrooms and our own steam shower and tub spa! The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was perfect, both quiet and walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

We loved our stay here. Literally across the street from Palazzo Pitti and a short walk to Ponte Vecchio. The jacuzzi in the room was great for soaking weary legs from long days of walking the city. The staff was very accommodating with our late check in and early check out times. They arranged for a taxi to help us get to the airport for a early flight. Letizia, Ginerva and Sady all contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable week in Florence!

This property has nice paint on the wall , it’s very beautiful. Room is clean but kind of old. Facility in the room is good, it has everything we need. Transportation is not easy!! You will need a taxi to the train station, but it’s not easy to call a taxi there. I almost missed the train when I left the hotel. I asked the staff to call a taxi for me , and she did it for me. But taxi didn’t come! And I asked another staff to call taxi for me, she said “no taxi is available”. Then we have to stand in front near the gate to call taxi by ourselves. Fortunately we got one and arrived the train station 3 mins before the departure time. So , remember to plan earlier if you take train!

Such a great hotel. From the minute you check in Letizia welcomes you with marshmallow candies that are delicious. She walks you to your gorgeous room and you are taken back to the 1600s but with the ultimate comfort. The bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with drinks and water, and the Jacuzzi spa tub in the spa room is just waiting for you to jump in. Best experience ever!!!!

The hotel is beautiful. The antiques and art are unbelievable. Reception and managers all charming and helpful. Some minor items need repair (tile on bathroom floor). It is very clean, however and I appreciated the charm and beauty of staying in such a remarkable property.

The staff were truly wonderful at Hotel Piazza Pitti Palace and Letizia made sure we were completely welcomed and comfortable immediately on arrival which was a lovely personal touch. The location of the hotel is terrific, we were able to see so much of what Florence had to offer for dining and site seeing and the suites were very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. 10/10 we will definitely be staying there again amazing birthday treat!

Loved the property’s location, directly in front of the Pitti Palace. Less than 5 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, which connects to all of Florence. Did not like the condition of our room, and the experience we had when a leak was discovered in our room.

Escolhi este hotel pela arquitectura e decoração já que o objectivo era o meu filho viver a arte renascentista que estava a estudar na escola. Superou todas as expectativas. Este hotel é fantástico! Lindíssimo, limpo, cheiroso e muito bem localizado. Pequeno almoço excelente. As funcionárias muito simpáticas e prestáveis. Adorámos tudo que não queríamos vir embora!

We loved our stay and our incredible room. Our balcony overlooking the street was the downtime we needed to relax in between exploration. The staff was incredibly accommodating and front desk went out of their way to help us make a train when there was a cab shortage.

The room was BEAUTIFUL. Perfect for 4 people. The only strange thing about the room was the bathroom had glass doors which did not lend itself to a great amount of privacy. Once we got used to managing bathroom times, the rest of our stay was fabulous. The hotel is about- a must see in Florence .300 feet from the Pitti Palace

This was a last minute reservation in Firenze and we lucked out. The location is excellent, within a 3 minute walk of the Ponto Vecchio bridge (in the more interesting side). The room felt as if we were staying in a literal palace, with beautiful original art and delightful staff. Only one minor deficiency was the quality of the WiFi, but I suspect this is a regional issue. Would definitely come back here.

I want to share my bad experience of what happened when I stayed in their suite on 2/14 night. I booked their Jetted tub, city view suite because we want to celebrate Valentine's day but we didn't expect that their room would have a power outage. We only used their hair dryer . Their reception was off after 7pm and she didn't tell me that how to handle it. She did left the emergency contact but we don't have phone service to call their number. We need to contact our phone company from our country to add international phone plan to contact them. We also don't use WhatsApp app. I can't imagine what happened if we don't find anybody that night and the hotel reception should tell us how to handle this kind emergency situation when they check in. I want to share my bad experience of what happened when I stayed in their suite on 2/14 night. I booked their Jetted tub, city view suite because we want to celebrate Valentine's day but we didn't expect that their room would have a power outage. We only used their hair dryer . Their reception was off after 7pm and she didn't tell me that how to handle it. She did left the emergency contact but we don't have phone service to call their number. We need to contact our phone company from our country to add international phone plan to contact them. We also don't use WhatsApp app. I can't imagine what happened if we don't find anybody that night and the hotel reception should tell us how to handle this kind emergency situation when they check in. The staff were truly wonderful at Hotel Piazza Pitti Palace and Letizia made sure we were completely welcomed and comfortable immediately on arrival which was a lovely personal touch. The location of the hotel is terrific, we were able to see so much of what Florence had to offer for dining and site seeing and the suites were very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. 10/10 we will definitely be staying there again amazing birthday treat!

Love, love, love this place! Our room was work of art and so enjoyable. The staff is AMAZING - the gal at reception is so very sweet. The room was beautiful and comfortable. They are close to all the sites and the neighborhood is fantastic. I will always stay here when we go to Florence! Thank you so much for a beautiful stay.

The room has good paint on the wall which looks beautiful! Room is clean but pretty old and not quiet, you can hear the voice from you neighbor. Staff service is limited as they are not at the hotel most of the time (I feel this property is more like a B&B than a hotel). Not easy to call taxi, so plan earlier when you have to catch a train.

If you want to experience a taste of old world elegance for a nominal cost, and be within easy access to the Uffizi and Pitti Palace this is the place to stay. Easily walkable from the train station and perfectly situated directly across from the Pitti Palace. Sleep with the old world Masters surrounding you with authentic tempura frescos on the walls and ceilings. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were provided recommendations for local restaurants, sights to see and places to go that were not on the tourist tracks. If I had more time I would stay longer. It will definitely be on my 'places to return to' list.

Definitely an amazing value for the price. Secret hidden bathrooms and our own steam shower and tub spa! The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was perfect, both quiet and walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

We loved our stay here. Literally across the street from Palazzo Pitti and a short walk to Ponte Vecchio. The jacuzzi in the room was great for soaking weary legs from long days of walking the city. The staff was very accommodating with our late check in and early check out times. They arranged for a taxi to help us get to the airport for a early flight. Letizia, Ginerva and Sady all contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable week in Florence!

Loved the room, loved the location. Directly across from Pitti Palace and within walking distance to many great sites. A quick five minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We had a 2 bdrm/2 bath suite which was huge and having two bathrooms was great. Didn’t have much contact with reception but enjoyed our stayed. Shopping and restaurants all around. Would stay again.

All the staff we encountered were excellent, being most helpful on arrival as we were a little before check in and the housekeeper, Anna did everything she could to help with luggage and car arrangements as there is No parking on-site. Parking is 30 euro per day. Carolina was fabulous with her recommendations for restaurants and letting us know that the streets were closed on our departure day and helping us coordinate a plan with luggage loading with the garage. Directly across from the Pitti Palace, the location was perfect as it was out of the congestion in central Florence but no more than 10 minutes walk to all the central attractions over the Ponte de Vecchio bridge. The suite was incredibly well decorated and the bathroom luxurious! A wonderful location for a honeymoon or two seventy-year olds dream place!

This is the place to stay in Florence!!! It’s beautiful and feels like you’re in a Pitti Palace guest house with the murals and furniture, but beyond the aesthetics, the location couldn’t be more perfect. Delicious restaurants right outside and steps from the Ponte Vecchio. My family fell in love with this place immediately and my son even volunteered to do a silly photo shoot for the reviews. Enjoy!

This was a last minute reservation in Firenze and we lucked out. The location is excellent, within a 3 minute walk of the Ponto Vecchio bridge (in the more interesting side). The room felt as if we were staying in a literal palace, with beautiful original art and delightful staff. Only one minor deficiency was the quality of the WiFi, but I suspect this is a regional issue. Would definitely come back here.

Escolhi este hotel pela arquitectura e decoração já que o objectivo era o meu filho viver a arte renascentista que estava a estudar na escola. Superou todas as expectativas. Este hotel é fantástico! Lindíssimo, limpo, cheiroso e muito bem localizado. Pequeno almoço excelente. As funcionárias muito simpáticas e prestáveis. Adorámos tudo que não queríamos vir embora!

This is a unique hotel. 6 rooms and no staff before 9:00am of after 7:00pm. Not a bad thing just a little different. Our rooms were huge!!! I believe our room was the smallest. I guessing the other rooms are massive. Great location with very large rooms. 5 minute walk to pointe vechcio bridge. Great view of Pitti Palace

Magical stay in the Imperial Suite. Spacious rooms with beautiful, whimsical decor. I lived for relaxing on the little balcony overlooking Pitti Palace in the long light of the sun with my morning coffee or pre-dinner wine. Great people watching from that vantage point and so peaceful. (Note: I believe this is the only room with a balcony.) The staff was gracious, helpful and kind. I was suspicious of the air conditioner at first. I turned it on with a remote control by following the instructions on a laminated card and it was so quiet, I thought operating it was beyond my technical prowess. However, the room cooled quickly (and it was 95°F outside!), the unit is just surprisingly quiet. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. You need to reserve it the night before and there is an incremental fee. It looked robust and worth it, we just preferred to grab something small in the bustling cafes on the street. There is a Nespresso machine in the room with complimentary pods. This is very important to me...sometimes I even search hotel reviews for the word "coffee" to make sure I have easy access. This not your typical hotel (book a chain hotel if that's what you're looking for), rather it's like staying as a guest in a home well-appointed with antiques and fluffy towels. It is quirky in some ways: locked gate out front, elevator the size of a shoe box (I took the stairs), and a room key the size of a small kitten (I kid). It felt like an experience made with love.

Not what it promises to be… The lobby is on the second floor. No one greets you. You arrive with luggage and either squeeze into a tiny elevator or climb four flights of stairs. That is the first impression. We stayed in two rooms so I have enough to give a real opinion. The Queen Suite- was spacious and partially beautiful. That is where the positives end. The shower was dark, moldy, and smelled of humidity so strongly I felt sick standing in it. A brick in the bathroom had broken and instead of fixing it, someone shoved it back incorrectly and left a sharp edge sticking out. My child tripped. Lamps were dusty. Robes were ripped. The AC drips when placed in cool temp. We were woken by water pooling on the floor and had to turn it off completely in summer heat. Reception closes and the WhatsApp is unresponsive, so we just lay there sweating until 10am. When they finally investigated they found nothing, because I had already raised the temperature to stop the dripping. Their response “free breakfast” aka l a small table with two coffees on dirty cups and a pile of muffins. For $600+ a night. The second room- had a thin door separating us from the lobby. We heard everything. Mold on the ceiling. And a chandelier above the bed so thick with dust that one touch would have rained onto our pillows. Photos attached. The staff tried. But good intentions do not fix any of this. This affected our trip. I would not return or choose this if you are looking for a luxury experience
