We received an email the morning of our trip that the pool and hot tub were unavailable to use during our stay. We also had issues with hot water both nights of our stay.

This property is in desperate need of upgrades and maintenance. The furniture and wall treatments appear to be original, as was the lumpy mattress. The grounds are naturally beautiful due to surrounding nature, but the owners should step up their efforts in providing rooms that match the price point note that if you stay in room 37 or 38 you are directly in front of the noisy wedding reception if there is one going on (that is a business model for the property so it is likely). I would not return if I had other options.

The only issue we have that has not happened yet we found out the restaurant will be closing in December maybe we heard it wrong and that guests will still be able to have dinner when they stay at the Stroudsmoor and it’s just not open to the public if they close the restaurant we probably won’t be going back it’s a very beautiful place but without a restaurant kinda not worth it

Our stay was great, we really enjoyed the inn. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. A little disappointed the restaurant and bar was not open during our stay, only open on Fridays and Saturdays which was not disclosed until our arrival. Breakfast on site was excellent, many hot food items. The restaurant being closed for lunch and dinner was a minor inconvenience with Main St. being less than 3 miles away. Which has multiple options for food and drink. Many local businesses with great food! Staying in the main inn, it’s a small room but well maintained and amenities are provided best as possible for the space available. The grounds are wonderful to explore. The entire property is kept in magnificent shape. This is definitely a place I would return to. Good job Stroudsmoor!
