Hyde Away Inn

Netter Platz mit Restaurantbetrieb, allerdings nur sehr kleines Zimmer, welches auch noch mit zusätzlichen Stapelbetten vollgestellt war. Durch die Lage an eines befahrenen Straße war es sehr laut. Gutes Frühstück.

Great location, clean room, awesome bar/restaurant onsite, friendly staff

Fantastic location, minutes away from Mad River Glen and Sugarbush’s Mt Ellen, and a quick ride up to Sugarbush’s Lincoln Peak. Waitsfield is also a quick ride up the road. The inn itself is a beautiful farmhouse style setup, not many frills but all the basics. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The included breakfast is a great option to fill up when you want to avoid a $12 breakfast sandwich at the Sugarbush lodge. No frills here either but you get all the basics (eggs and omelets, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit) and it’s all done well. The bar/restaurant is a definite highlight. Great food, tons of drink options including plenty of local VT craft beers, and great atmosphere! It does get crowded, especially weekends, so highly recommend a reservation for dinner. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. And even if you don’t stay at the inn, definitely stop by for breakfast or a meal/drinks at the restaurant.

The room was spotless and the staff we friendly and accommodating. Excellent food and nice bar. Great location.

Everything was better than expected.
