Always our “go to” place to stay when the dog is with us in Greenville. There was one huge problem this stay. One of the two - only two - elevators was not working the entire time. The wait was very long since the houskeeeping staff also had to use the one working elevator.

In town for a show at the Peace Center - very easy 5 to 7 minute walk. Easy check in. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Excellent bar. Loved the black out curtains- can’t remember the last time I slept so peacefully til 8:30 am. Easy $7 parking.

The public parking garage beside the hotel is confusing. You check in and on floor 4 of the hotel which is level P6 of the garage. The signage in the garage needs to be improved to help first time visitors to the hotel. The elevator inside the parking garage was very dirty. We realize it’s not owned by the hotel, but it doesn’t give a great first impression. We loved the our room location which was next to the pool. There were cool lounging chairs outside.The shower in the bathroom had mold in several spots and needs a deep cleaning. The bedding was comfortable and the lounge was great. The location is also great for being in the heart of downtown Greenville.

Located near all of the downtown Greenville shopping areas on main st. Very close to the parks and the falls. Hotel room was s bit too modern. No towel hooks or anywhere to hang anything. Here for a wedding and did not have enough hangers in the closet to even hang a couple days worth of dress clothes. Clean ish. See areas that could have used more attention, some mold around the sink shower still had leg or other hairs from prior guest?

Everything about the place was great, but the room itself was honestly gross. There were stains on the sheets and floor and hair in the shower. Seemed like it hadn't been cleaned at all.

We hadn’t been at Aloft in a few months and found it in disrepair and dirty. Our room’s carpet hadn’t been cleaned, there were make up smudges in the sink, hair in the shower, the air conditioner/heat was so very loud we couldn’t hear each other talk and it doesn’t stop, it’s always going and the only way to make it stop is to turn it off but then you’re freezing. TV didn’t work, the water filtration system for our floor didn’t work either, the glass water bottle they provide for you to fill up from another floor was missing and when requested the front desk couldn’t find one. The carpets on our hall were coming loose and dirty with big stains. We switched rooms and it was a bit better but not nearly as good as a nice downtown hotel could be. Still cleaning standards were terrible to say the least. Parking is a pain because you pay for the day but the parking card works just once so every time you try to get out you have to request they open the gate without charging you again and hold the line of cars that’s trying to leave the parking lot which is very busy. Whatever happened to this property? This is not an old hotel and it’s not cheap either, location is great but everything else is falling apart.

Nope. This hotel is going downhill. Perhaps they were short staffed due to the holidays but the hotel felt dusty from the lobby throughout the rooms. The normal wear and tear has NOT been repaired and you see all the carpets and paint starting to show lots of dirt and smudges. Shower shows stains and the heavy glass door is off balance. Feels like is going to fall any time. It used to be a cool and convenient place. Now is old and dirty.

One elevator out of service the entire time. Multiple dogs barking on the floor I was on. Elevator that was in service and the hallway smelled like wet dog. Parking card was not activated and so I paid at the hotel and again in the garage for parking.

Location is excellent. Amenities are great! Gym, pool, and parking were good. Even loved the conveniently pre-packaged ice bags! There is no sit down/done in restraunt in the hotel. There's a menu you order from. Only flaw is (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) there was obvious smells of pets in the A/C's ducts - we all woke up with stuffy noses.

Nice hotel...stayed in a suite. The room was clean but did not feel that way with a stain on the couch and chips in door frames. Also, there was no dresser and no towel racks in the bathroom which we found odd. Location in town could not be beat and the facility, overall, was pretty cool.

This is a very nice property with a great staff and I would have given it a five star review except for one thing… I paid a little extra to stay pool side which did have a great view and it would have been amazing except for the fact that the walls are paper thin and I was assigned room 612 which is right beside of the pool entrance and workout room and the entrance door for both are extremely noisy slamming every minute, waking me up at the crack of dawn. So if you reserve pool side make sure it’s not room 612 unless you’re an early bird.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple days on a recent 2state trip. The hotel has a great downtown location and has a city parking garage attached to the hotel. One of the best things for us is Greenville is extremely EV friendly and the garage had 3 free level 2 EV chargers. The hotel had great security and a pretty good bar spot. My only cons are the room was pretty small for a King room. For that reason I would say if you’re staying for more than a couple of days I would recommend a larger room as not to be so cramped, otherwise its a good choice

I liked that the property was centrally located making it easy to get around the area. While my room (620) was nice the location was the worst. I was the unlucky person to get a room with A/C units outside my window. The noise from the units made watching TV and more importantly sleeping very difficult. If I were to stay here again, I would have to know the room location and what was outside the windows.

Great location for various food options. It is loud in the area from street noise etc. so if you are a light sleeper the downtown area may not be for you. Beds were comfortable. Disliked the design when it came to lighting. If you want the light in the sink area on you have to have the entire room light on so end up washing hands in the dark. Overall good experience.

Amazing stay. Night one someone pulled the fire alarm at 300am - not fun, but we were all compensated with free treats/drinks for the inconvenience! Pool outside on 6th floor -nice! WXYZ bar nice, live music, great space. Hotel located right on shopping and restaurants in heart of downtown Greenville. We will come back!

My stay was great! 100% the result of awesome staff. I met the Concierge, Sharon, almost as soon as I arrived. She was very welcoming! Later that night, the a/c went out in my room, and Ethan was kind enough to check to see if he could fix it and when he couldn't, he moved me to another room. Outside of all of that, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and it's in an extremely convenient location on Main St that provides easy and walkable access to many local restaurants and attractions. Great stay! Not my first time there, and hopefully won't be my last.

My stay was great! 100% the result of awesome staff. I met the Concierge, Sharon, almost as soon as I arrived. She was very welcoming! Later that night, the a/c went out in my room, and Ethan was kind enough to check to see if he could fix it and when he couldn't, he moved me to another room. We stayed on Dec. 14. The bar was closed due to a private party. We had a great time I find it ridiculous that paying customers staying at Aloft could not access the bar. Disappointing.

Great location if you are looking to be near restaurants and shops! The hotel was clean, parking was reasonably priced and super easy! The staff is what made our stay! Everyone was so friendly, funny and helpful. Truly a stand out staff. Thanks for everything!

This property is very convenient and walkable to everything downtown. We got there early, around 10:30 and just stopped by the desk to see if we could get an early check-in, thinking maybe 1:00 or so…But they went ahead and let us check in at 10:30am. It was great! Nice rooms and a great vibe all the way around! We will definitely stay here again.

Love the hotel for its easy check-in and courteous staff. Comfortable quiet room. Easy onsite parking. The surrounding area is full of shops and great restaurants.

In town for a show at the Peace Center - very easy 5 to 7 minute walk. Easy check in. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Excellent bar. Loved the black out curtains- can’t remember the last time I slept so peacefully til 8:30 am. Easy $7 parking.

Great location for various food options. It is loud in the area from street noise etc. so if you are a light sleeper the downtown area may not be for you. Beds were comfortable. Disliked the design when it came to lighting. If you want the light in the sink area on you have to have the entire room light on so end up washing hands in the dark. Overall good experience.

Everything was a great experience, except the 24 hour Starbucks. No coffee was available. The hotel receptionist seemed irritated that he had to help us. And he expressed he wasn’t a Starbucks employee when I asked him about menu items. This was around 11:30 pm.

Amazing stay. Night one someone pulled the fire alarm at 300am - not fun, but we were all compensated with free treats/drinks for the inconvenience! Pool outside on 6th floor -nice! WXYZ bar nice, live music, great space. Hotel located right on shopping and restaurants in heart of downtown Greenville. We will come back!

Location is excellent. Amenities are great! Gym, pool, and parking were good. Even loved the conveniently pre-packaged ice bags! There is no sit down/done in restraunt in the hotel. There's a menu you order from. Only flaw is (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) there was obvious smells of pets in the A/C's ducts - we all woke up with stuffy noses.

Aloft properties are always reliable and consistent and this one didn’t disappoint. Great location right on Main Street too. Only complaints were the staggering $24 per drink cost at the bar and prices weren’t posted readily—it’s Greenville not NYC Aloft! We felt kinda ripped off. Also the shower had bad water pressure and water didn’t get super hot—needs attention.

We love Aloft! It’s walkable to lots of fun stuff downtown. The lobby has a fun tabletop shuffleboard game and a nice coffee shop/breakfast place. Room is comfortable and clean with nice shampoo, and the pool area is nice.

Excellent hotel. Clean and modern. My room had a private patio that had straight access to the pool. Check in was on the 4th floor so from the parking garage, it was a little inconvenient. Hotel should offer free breakfast.

Great location in the middle of everything. We were able to park at the site and walk everywhere. Staff was attentive and helpful. Such a cool vibe. Room was quiet. I’d definitely go back.
