Fairfield by Marriott Niagara Falls

No frills hotel, but had everything we needed, including breakfast. Would’ve liked to have known in advance about the $10/night parking fee, but other than that it was great

Property is in walking distance of Niagara Falls State Park. The hotel had some on going renovations but it wasn't bothersome. Breakfast had usual hot and cold food and drink items available. The hotel charged for parking.

There were renovations going on, but would have liked that Expedia would have told us before booking.

Hotel is being remodeled so is very clean and updated. Staff was nice and accommodating. Wish there was a waffle maker for breakfast. The pool is small and wish there was a hotub. Overall we would stay here again

This property is an excellent new 3 star hotel property located across from the Casino. You will still need a car to get around. Good free breakfast options. Friendly staff. Clean. $10 nightly parking fee. Small pool, fitness room, laundry room

Laundry washer can not be used for the simple reason that no maintenance is available to empty out the filled up coin holder. Same kind of food is served for breakfast everyday.

Very nice, friendly staff, very clean with a very good breakfast included. Close to the falls. Spacious room, and good amenities including washer and drier. They could just digitize perhaps their use instead of coins.

This property was good for ever aspect your looking for! Only thing we didnt get to do was go in the pool! Its supposed to be 84 but with glass windows that dont help alot to keep the heat in!

Loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. The hotel was super clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was impressive with something for everyone. Our room was large and comfortable. There even were cookies waiting at the front desk everytime we returned to the hotel.

Area: The hotel was close to attractions after going through a dirty neighborhood. Beautiful walking trails along the waterfalls and river. City is not attractive, even a little rundown. But the Canadian city is even worse. Room: The sofa in the room was very uncomfortable because the cushion was so worn-out that you feel the hard wood hurting your back badly. Breakfast: The breakfast room was very dirty (tables and floors) unless you go very early in the morning. Housekeeping: It was almost non existing! They came every 2 days to change towels, empty trash and replenish toiletries, made the bed without straightening the sheets which left us sleeping on a bumpy bed. When I asked about changing the sheets, I was told that it was done every 3rd day. It never happened! So, when I inquired again, they informed me it would be done every 7 days. I asked where they announce such housekeeping rules, she pointed at a sign on the reception desk which said nothing about housekeeping. Expedia advertised daily housekeeping and sheets on request. So, during our 7-night stay we did not get any bathroom cleaning nor new bedsheets! This is unacceptable!! I would like to address another unpleasant issue: The reception staff was not present at the reception desk. We had to ring the bell to get them. Very unprofessional! In conclusion, I must say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I will NEVER stay at FAIRFIELD again!!!!

I would only recommend that they check the cleanliness of the bathrooms, we found hair in the tub and on the floor. They also left us a roll of toilet paper that was almost finished.

It was hard to find the local number for the hotel we came in on the day that the Rainbow Bridge was closed. The shower curtain had 17 black mole spots on it we told the front desk on Thursday morning about it and they didn't take it down until Friday. No one cleaned the room Friday or Saturday no clean towels were offered and no one at the front desk you have to ring a bell and then still wait 10 minutes for someone to come out of the office. Rooms are dated and in need of upgrades and new furniture the fold up suitcase stand fell over twice with our suit case on it and no one near it.

I do not recommend the place. The room was dirty: dust was in every corner, a few oily and dirty spots on the curtains. We requested a rollaway bed for a child (I contacted the hotel a few days before to make sure they got my request), and it was not ready when we went. We were given a bad on the reception and had to move it to the 5th floor ourselves. The mattress on the rollaway bed was unacceptably old and dirty, all springs were easy to feel. So I had to put all the blankets in a room to make it usable.

Sheets on the beds were stained and did not look fresh.

The first night was fine; the second night I found a bed bug (alive) in one of the bed. Complained to the front desk no manager on property). Was given another room which was dirty and not cleaned; after waiting for a while I was assigned another room. I will definitely talk to the manager(if they come in)(not my words) in the morning

This place was okay. The woman at the front desk was super nice. The air conditioner didn’t work and they offered to move us to another room but we were tired after traveling a long distance. The room and the beds were okay.

Had a good welcome to the hotel. Rooms clean and fresh. Walls quite thin, so slightly noisy but would stay again

The hotel was clean and the staff were so efficient and friendly! We would definitely recommend to others and stay again. Loved the all day coffee and tea. Hotel needs to update the rooms with USB adaptors.

Great stay near the falls. Clean and comfortable rooms.

For 4 of the 6 days there was no internet. 1 day had the elevator down and my 75 yearvold mother had to walk 5 flights of stairs. Breakfast was free, but the same thing everyday and not on time.

Big rooms

This hotel is a 15-20 mins walk from the falls. Our stay was hassle free. We stayed 2 nights. They didn’t have housekeeping. But it didn’t matter to us. The breakfast in morning was good. It was a small buffet but they had lot of things. It was very quiet here. We ordered Uber Eats and Cabs and they were able to locate and deliver without a problem. I would recommend staying here.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was great. Staff all had earbuds in and talking on the phone most of the time. Room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was very slow and unreliable.

The rooms were quite large and very well maintained. No issues with check in or parking. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival Jennifer at the front desk was so welcoming and kind. The hotel has great amenities such as laundry for guests. It was also a pleasure to be able ti check out with Jennifer in the morning.

Everything was great... We encountered 3 front desk staff during the duration of our stay and all of them where very helpful and so nice! The facility was clean and well kept and our room was very nice and very clean and the bed was so comfy after a long day... the breakfast was pretty good but very busy as to be expected on a weekend morning... We will definitely be back!

The hotel was super clean and secure. The staff were wonderful, especially the lady who was servicing breakfast last week. She always had a smile and a warm greeting! Would definitely recommend this hotel and will look for Fairfield hotels for future vacations.

Great location, walking distance to the falls. Unfortunately, they don't offer room service. We stayed 3 nights and they don't clean your room. Front desk employees are not helpful at all.

Had a good stay here. I would definitely recommend staying there. It’s walking distance from the Niagara Falls Park.

The hotel was great and the service was wonderful. The only issue was the area surrounding the hotel was a little sketchy. I had to got to the drug store to pick up a few things and the neighbourhood made me a little nervous. The drug store had all its products behind locked cases. The associate in the store said you should see our Walmart.

The breakfast daily was not the best. The same items were offered all three days with nothing different. The coffee was out several times and the staff of just two just could t keep up. Kudos to them for trying though! Location was a little sketchy. Convenient for casino but other than that nothing really around.

We were in Niagra Falls for one night and this was a great place for a family of four. Room was clean and comfortable. Location to Falls was super convenient. Complimentary breakfast was good and had enough variety. Great value stay. The one area of improvement would be in the eco friendly department. The breakfast was all paper plate/plastic/throw away cups. Would be nice to see a reduction in throw away waste associated with breakfast.

The in room coffee maker had a thick cake of coffee grit and I tried to clean it but the grounds were still in the hose and I couldn’t drink it so I waited for the coffee to open downstairs…the staff were working in the room prepping items and had everything out before finally putting out coffee.although it was put out before the start time of breakfast I was surprised they didn’t put coffee out first and have coffee available during the day.
