The rooms I paid for were supposed to be 2 king size bed delux rooms with full kitchenette. 1 room had 2 king size beds and a loveseat but mini fridge and microwave. I wasn’t upset about that but the air conditioning was awful. However, our second room originally had 2 full size beds and was filthy. They moved us to a room with 2 queen size beds a full size refrigerator and microwave still not a kitchenette as was in photos. It was filthy. We even found items of clothing that did not belong to us. Grass and weeds was awful. The fence around the pool was rusted rotten iron posts. The pool furniture was falling apart. This place has potential but needs a lot of TLC. Don’t even think you can do laundry either. 1 washer and dryer in a nasty room with an old lamp for a light. Many safety and fire hazards. I will say the young lady who checked us in was very nice and tried her best to get us accommodations. The manager came in the next morning and we were able to check out and she refunded most of our money so we could find another hotel. She was very understanding and helpful. Nice location though.

We didn’t have a bad experience! It was a place to sleep and shower, we don’t require fancy accommodations. The front desk was super friendly and quick to help us if we needed them! We experienced families having fun in the pool, no one bothered us or was too loud, our room stayed cold and it was quiet at night time. It’s in a good location, you can see the bay from the property and it’s a 2 min walk to Sonic for a late night treat.

This place fits our needs well especially for the price. Staff are EXCELLENT. It is our second stay here. Big improvements from the last stay as they are always working to upgrade. Kid & Pet friendly. Pool with cabanas is nice. Good location for the beach, tourists shops, museums & more. Good place to stay. We'll be back!

Bed and pillows were fairly comfortable. AC worked well. Had to request batteries for one of the remotes; they were 3 remotes in the room. Two for TV and one for AC unit. No explanation of how to use any of them. Smallest shower and toilet area ever. Definitely out of code. Three different kinds of light bulbs in the bathroom fixture. Encountered two small roaches in the bathroom. Found an old comb lodged under the baseboard in the bathroom. Cheapest toilet paper stocked. No curtains in the room; just blinds. No bed cover; just sheets and a blanket. The water in the bathroom sink and in the shower had a sweet spot where you had to position the knobs in order to turn them off; turning both frontwards and backwards had the water running. Definitely a hotel for fisherman. Several people were up at 6am talking loudly right outside our room and running their Diesel engines for a time before they took off. Some loud music and children screaming from the pool well after 10pm. No place to drop your keys if you left before the office opened. Left them stuffed in the door jamb like everyone else. They really need a Dropbox for this. Parking lot arrangement is wonky.

I stayed for 2 nights they never came to clean or make the beds didn’t brought clean towels, there was a stove but no pots and pans like other hotels , building is old nothing like the pictures,the pool has a rusty gate all around I dont recommend this hotel to anyone with babies or toddlers,didn’t had problem checking in or out, plenty of parking,

Highly dont recommend staying here. My toilet wouldn't fill with water and my tub wouldn't drain. I told them and they supposedly fixed it but later i found out they didn't. Room was to hot and ac was spitting black stuff out of it. Pool was full of dirt because the grounds keeper blew all the dirt and trash into the pool.

Old fashioned motel currently under renovation. Nice location. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms were sparkling, and so was the pool.

Book the wrong hotel when we got there place is filthy dirty look like they rushed to clean it. No Bed bug thank god but did have Roaches husband had one crawling on leg smh microwave and stove was clean. Did have food in the oven we headed out for the day. To came back bathroom was flooded with water on the floor l We let office know he just came mopped it up but still water was coming out slowly, it was for Easter weekend .. WE SLEPT WITH THE LIGHTS ON!!

Although the property is fairly old, and not that attractive to look at from the outside, the room and bed and towels were all very clean! Unfortunately there was no cream or sugar packets in the room for an early morning coffee, so we had to wait until office opened and they were able to provide us with some "loose" creamer from a big container and some packets of sugar.

Super gross, the hotel look nothing like the picture, super run down. It had flys everywhere. The tub was clogged with hair, the lighting in the room was so dim and ugly. They call the thin little blankets they give us comforters. One of the pillows had the most disgusting stain on it from probably bugs. It was overall not that much of an uncomfortable stay but it definitely was disappointing. The hotel needs to really do better. The only good outcome from it was the view of the bay that’s it.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Despite being advertised as having a check-in time of 3 PM, upon arrival, I found the office locked and unattended. A sign on the door instructed guests to call a number for assistance. After finally reaching someone, I was informed that check-in wasn't actually until 4 PM, contrary to what was advertised. Once I gained access to my room, the conditions were far from acceptable. The ceilings were dirty, and the walls were in desperate need of repainting. To make matters worse, I encountered roaches in the restroom, and there were mysterious stains throughout the room. Dust covered many surfaces, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. While the view from the hotel is undeniably beautiful and the surrounding businesses are satisfactory, these positives do not compensate for the hotel's poor maintenance and cleanliness. Overall, my stay was unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

From the pictures I thought this would be a nice stay which is exactly why I booked. Close to the water and had two queen beds. We checked in late, at 11pm. I paid for a two night stay with two adults and two children. Upon entering the room it reeked of mildew. I scoped around and I’m going to let these photos I post speak for themselves. This place needs to be shut down by a health inspector because there is no way that staying here could be legal. MOLD all in the restroom and a leaking toilet, hair from the previous occupants. Shower drain cover with no screws on it. Bugs galore. Dust and dirt everywhere. This place is just to say the least, DISGUSTING. We did not even stay one night, we packed up and left and booked at La Quinta just down the road, and that place was amazing, book at La Quinta instead. Don’t waste your money here. Especially with kids or elderly.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures they have on the website. The room looked nothing like the pictures. A/C filters were gross. The tub leaked and flooded the bathroom. Will say the beds were clean and comfy. But that’s probably the only good thing.

The room was not well represented from the website. The entry door a 1 inch gap the length of the door. The floor next to the shower had a 5x1 gap from floor to wall. I was charged almost $500 for 2 nights. I asked the desk person and I was informed the room was $80 a night. I’m a loyal customer to Hotels.com. I DO NOT remember the room being $197 on the app. I’m very disappointed.

Bed was comfortable although toilet are in bathroom and shower was very small. No wiggle room at all. Did see a couple of small roaches and large amount of flies. Lamp at bedside did not work, door handle stuck so had to be very cautious that it locked when leaving

No hot water. No WI-FI (as advertised) because our room was too far from the office. The tile floor was filthy. No receptical in the bathroom. Frig was freezing everything and couldn’t be adjusted. The kitchenette had no dishes or utensils.

Convenient spot to stay for a quick trip, I didn’t like that the front door hit the bed as you walk in so you can barely open the door all way if your taking in like a ice chest.

Check in was great. AC didn’t work. TV didn’t work. It was a day trip so I wasn’t in the room long. If it was a weekend trip or long would’ve brought it up with management. I visit Rockport frequently but will never get a room again at that oyo.

Check in was great. AC didn’t work. TV didn’t work. It was a day trip so I wasn’t in the room long. If it was a weekend trip or long would’ve brought it up with management. I visit Rockport frequently but will never get a room again at that oyo.

Did even stay there. I paid for my room and went to bring my belongings and I was very dissappointed and not very happy at all . The room looked nothing like the pictures . The bed looked slept in the room stunk so bad .It had an air conditioner in the window with mold and mildew and it was so hot in there . It was horrible . I couldn’t sleep in there because the conditions was bad . I couldn’t take pictures because it was hot in there and it made me sick .

Old fashioned motel currently under renovation. Nice location. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms were sparkling, and so was the pool.

Pubic hair on bathroom walls. No wifi. No remote to operate cable. Door sticks and impossible to open. Bed was terrible. Door had gap at bottom and let in winter air. Drawers were broken. We left after the first night and were not offered a refund for the second and staff didnt care about our complaints.

The rooms I paid for were supposed to be 2 king size bed delux rooms with full kitchenette. 1 room had 2 king size beds and a loveseat but mini fridge and microwave. I wasn’t upset about that but the air conditioning was awful. However, our second room originally had 2 full size beds and was filthy. They moved us to a room with 2 queen size beds a full size refrigerator and microwave still not a kitchenette as was in photos. It was filthy. We even found items of clothing that did not belong to us. Grass and weeds was awful. The fence around the pool was rusted rotten iron posts. The pool furniture was falling apart. This place has potential but needs a lot of TLC. Don’t even think you can do laundry either. 1 washer and dryer in a nasty room with an old lamp for a light. Many safety and fire hazards. I will say the young lady who checked us in was very nice and tried her best to get us accommodations. The manager came in the next morning and we were able to check out and she refunded most of our money so we could find another hotel. She was very understanding and helpful. Nice location though.

When I checked in I let the receptionist know that I had gotten lost(it was around 10pm) she made no expression at all, so I just kept it to not saying much based on the vibe..The furniture looks like it was picked from the dumpster, there was mold in the shower, the bathroom door was becoming apart, at around noon the day that I checked out I got a call that a fan was missing and that it was there the night before, when I said no ma’am we took nothing I can even stop by for you to search our car, the lady on the ph said…are u sure bc it was there and now is not and I just got it for that room. Very disappointed to be treated this way..I will for SURE not come back to this place.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Despite being advertised as having a check-in time of 3 PM, upon arrival, I found the office locked and unattended. A sign on the door instructed guests to call a number for assistance. After finally reaching someone, I was informed that check-in wasn't actually until 4 PM, contrary to what was advertised. Once I gained access to my room, the conditions were far from acceptable. The ceilings were dirty, and the walls were in desperate need of repainting. To make matters worse, I encountered roaches in the restroom, and there were mysterious stains throughout the room. Dust covered many surfaces, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. While the view from the hotel is undeniably beautiful and the surrounding businesses are satisfactory, these positives do not compensate for the hotel's poor maintenance and cleanliness. Overall, my stay was unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

We didn’t have a bad experience! It was a place to sleep and shower, we don’t require fancy accommodations. The front desk was super friendly and quick to help us if we needed them! We experienced families having fun in the pool, no one bothered us or was too loud, our room stayed cold and it was quiet at night time. It’s in a good location, you can see the bay from the property and it’s a 2 min walk to Sonic for a late night treat.

Liked the location but there was no hot water for showering, there were bugs and flies in the apartment, and the smell of mildew all around which also made it unsafe.

This place fits our needs well especially for the price. Staff are EXCELLENT. It is our second stay here. Big improvements from the last stay as they are always working to upgrade. Kid & Pet friendly. Pool with cabanas is nice. Good location for the beach, tourists shops, museums & more. Good place to stay. We'll be back!

The women who is in charge is so lovely! She gave me some coffee from her own coffee maker, so accommodating ! And the VIEW! Astonishing to see the sun rise over the bay!

This hotel was very disappointing when we pulled in, the photo's on this site are very misleading. This hotel is very run down does not look kept up at all & for the price that I paid we did not even check in because of how bad it looked & at the last minute had to search for an available hotel. I would highly recommend you remove this hotel from your site or make them provide updated photo's of what the hotel really looks like. It is a hard lesson learned that I am not able to be refunded what I paid & had to end up paying for another hotel at the last minute. I will never recommend anyone to stay here not even my worst enemy especially for what I was charged.

Initially had to wait in office for another attendant to come as the first “didn’t know how to check in. Then when the attendant came in, presented as disgruntled and didn’t understand why the other didn’t help. When we got our room key, we notice a smell immediately in room, which we noticed possible black mold from wall ac unit. The TV also wasn’t working to which we walked back to office to ask for assistance since no room phone. We noticed the office was closed. Back in the room, fridge was hot, couldn’t put our leftovers in. Sheets weren’t cleaned. Baby roaches in bathroom and main room. Chair provided was broke and husband slipped back injuring back. No cold water in sink, hot water yes but sprayed out ridiculously making hard to use. When going to plug in our charger, it’s sparked, shocking me. Now this was at 10pm which I understand is late. As we finally got through to customer service, they were going to refund us due to all the issues. Hour and half later someone knocks on our door, the attendant for hotel. Not asking about the issues we had to assist in fixing any of it, but stating if we asked for refund, to which my husband informed yes and why. He said ok to go with him as we needed to leave then he can refund us. We had to stay since we were exhausted from day and it was very late. Completely devastated on this place!!! Good thing was the firmness of bed to which we ended up having to sleep on top of it

When I first arrived, I was disoriented about where to go. After checking in with the very helpful staff, I got to my room. Unfortunately, the two key cards that were just assigned weren’t programmed. After they were, I was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was. Similar to a studio apartment. Full kitchen, good bathroom, the works. What didn’t please me was not only the door not properly installed, the deadbolt wasn’t able to be utilized, and there was no secondary lock. Once I left and came back from exploring Rockport, my key cards once again didn’t work. The on site employee was very quick to assist, but still a nuisance I didn’t want to happen at 1:30 in the morning. Overall, decent spot for the price - heart of Rockport, good staff, but need desperate security and technological upgrades.

The room was clean and had a larger dorm frig , and had a newer a/c system that worked very well, and the bed was comfortable. But the wifi was out and I had to unplug the TV because none of the remotes for it would turn it off. The gulls were enjoying the pool.
