One major drawback is not enough parking. It’s first come first served, even if you have a disability placard. If the motel parking is full when you get there, the front desk gives you a pass to park anywhere on the street - provided you can find one. I had to go around the block and park the next street over to find a space. Also asked for a ground floor room (and got put in the top floor). It’s a great location and pretty quiet, just not user friendly for people with mobility issues.

Great location and room was modern and clean. Don't like that you have to pay $20 per day to park and parking spots were tight. Also, pool was dirty with tons of bugs in it like it hadn't been cleaned for a few days.

Motel was clean, location was great. Biggest issue was parking - it should be noted on Orbitz that you have to pay $20/night for parking, that is if they have a spot available, if not you have to find parking elsewhere. Pool was much smaller than it appears on the website.

We are veterans when it comes to Wildwood but this was our first time traveling with our 8 month old puppy which was the main reason for picking this hotel. Pleasantly surprised to see all the upgrades made to this motel. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Could use a few hooks or towel racks or perhaps some shelves to put your toiletries on. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work causing it steamed up. Also, there was only the one mirror in the bathroom. We did enjoy hanging out at the Cabana terrace to watch the Air show. We would definitely return.

This hotel location is great...right on the Boardwalk. Our only problem was that the hotel is elevated to protect against flooding, but no elevators, so we had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to our room.

So, firstly, the pool was closed our entire stay, despite being advertised as open. The first room we were put, in the bathroom door was literally tied to the wall with wire. They moved us to another room, but they put someone else in there minutes later. The bathrooms are suuuuuper small, you have to shimmy sideways past the sink to get to the toilet. The photos advertise the cabana, the large, beach front deck with couches, a pergola, and lounge chairs. It looked really inviting. Unfortunately, it reeked. It smells as if local cats have taken a liking to the area, we lasted about 45 seconds. Ask for a blanket, as the beds are made with a textured top sheet only, we were very cold the first evening. Also, their linen/laundry room has a square meter hole in the wall. I thought at first it was window, but no, its a literal hole in the wall. It was fine otherwise.

Our stay here was just ok. The room was a lot smaller than shown in pictures and was not as clean as it could have been. There was still sand and dirt on the floors and hair in the shower from the previous renters. Also having to pay for parking daily while staying there is a big inconvenience.

Upon arrival the attendant at the front desk barely said a word to me. When we got to the room put out bags down and got comfortable, our feet were dirty and sandy from walking on the floor of the hotel room. The shower had some sort of reddish mold growing on the cracks of the shower and the toilet seat was ready to fall off. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The room was dirty, and the towels were stained. There was visible mold on the bathroom sink and tiles. The hotel feels very rundown, and it is far too expensive for what it offers. The room itself was extremely small. The only positives were that it allowed dogs and was close to the boardwalk.

My stay at this accommodation was extremely disappointing. The entire place had a strong, unpleasant smell of mold and sewage. The bathroom was not clean at all—there was hair in the shower and used soap left behind. The bedsheets were stained with yellow marks, which was very unhygienic. Overall, the cleanliness was far below any acceptable standard. I would not recommend this place.

I want to start off by saying that I love how the hotel has be renovated. Everything was new and the lobby smelled good. We did not get a parking pass as they stated the lot was full. The room at first glance was nice. Upon checking in and using the room, it was not cleaned great by housekeeping. There was hair in the shower, the floor was dirty(dust I didn’t even want to walk at all with my white socks on the floor), and there was sand particles in our beds. The balcony was a nice touch. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she stated “I will let housekeeping know” that was all that was said to me. Given the price point for this per night, I think more should have been done than that blanket statement. The property has pros but they still need to work out a few issues for me to give a higher rating. I would say this hotel is better than many of the properties in comparison to the area.

Not adequate parking, literally had to park 4 blocks away. Arcade under my room was loud until 12:30am and you hear it throughout the day. There is a very bright LED light outside the window that cannot be blocked by the curtains, so it is bright in the room at night. Room was at an area that was a public spot, had to keep curtains closed. Only positive is location and room was decent and the public spot is actually nice.

We stayed at this hotel in 2021, before it was under new management, so I didn't think to check reviews beforehand. Great location, and housekeeping definitely worked hard. But - a few things that weren't great. 1) change in parking rule from 2021. Parking spots are not guaranteed. If/when you do get parking you have to pay for it (that was new...). 2) The shower was absolutely awful. When I say the water dribbled out, I mean it dribbled. Zero water pressure. Any thick haired people are not washing their hair. I guess good for the ocean and pool to rinse in, because it wasn't happening in the shower. 3) Out of the 6 electric outlets in the room only two worked (one was in the bathroom). A family of 4 had to take turns charging devices, and had to charge devices in bathroom. I get that these are all first world problems, and if I was camping or paying maybe $100/night I wouldn't even think of taking issue. But at $300/night, I don't want to take turns charging my cell phone in the bathroom and use the hotel pool to clean my body, since the shower doesn't work.

Went to check-in. Told had to wait 45 min. Had to use ladies room. Couldn’t because you need a room key to open bathroom. Had to go on boardwalk. Came back and checked-in. Pros: clean, great location, cold AC, kiddie pool (didnt end up using butloved to have an option that most dont offer),cute terrace to relax on, comfy beds, microwave/mini fridge, decent sized room, outdoor shower, plenty of clean towels in room Cons: no bathroom trash can (only 1 in the room and was tiny), $20/day parking (very worth it for us though), bass/sound from arcade underneath loud till midnight (my kids still slept so wasnt a huge deal to me & idk that the hotel has any control over this), no blackout curtains (I get its hard with beachfront rooms getting direct sun but easy fix to invest in some better coverage curtains imo) if I had to nit pick or provide any constructive critisism: adding a dresser would be nice since there wasnt a lot of storage area, the doors are very tight/loud so no sneaking in/out without waking family, tv was wonky even with following instructions, an elevator wouldve been amazing &they could stand to invest in a pool vacuum to get most of the sand out and give a nicer asthetic Overall we would definitely stay here again and have already suggested to friends and fam! I was a bit leery on how dirty a pet friendly hotel could be but I was shocked it wasnt only clean, but I felt like I saw more staff than other places ive stayed startingcleaning early in the AM and through the day. Quick check in- they give a welcome bag w/ waters/snacks- sweet touch. Loved staying in a beachfront room on terrace and would pick again despite arcade noise

Through my head needed some upgrades. One bed was right on top of the air conditioning unit so you couldn’t sleep comfortably. Most of the USB ports were non-functional and they will not a lot of plugs available. The shower was the size of that for a child.

Nice little hotel. The rooms have been renovated. Great location. I encountered only two issues. First, parking is a pain. The spots are small and too close together. Second, the bathroom was too small and uncomfortable. The toilet seat was 2 inches from the sink. Avoid room 124 if you are not petite.

Pre-season stay, and our room has been fully renovated. No coffee maker, and minimal outlets for charging anything. No closet/hangers. There are hooks. This hotel is right on the boardwalk. Definitely a good place to stay in the summer. Everyone was nice, parking was easy. There is a parking fee. There are stairs, no elevators, so getting to check-in had stairs to climb. Overall a great two night stay.

Great location, right on the boardwalk and a 5 minute walk to the water. Room was decent, but the service and amenities need work. We called that morning to request an early check in. We showed up 80 minutes early, and learned that all the parking spaces were taken. (It’s first come first serve.) If you to get a space, it costs $20 for 24 hours. Otherwise, you have to find parking. The women at the front desk told us to drive around for a space on the street or find a garage. We were new to the area and surprised the hotel didn’t have a backup arrangement with a nearby garage, or specific instructions about where to park. We drove around for 20 mins., found a space on the street, and had to pay $40 per 8 hour period for parking. Quite a discrepancy… some luckier guests paid just $20 for an entire 24 hours! Christina, a host at the front desk, was friendly and professional. She’s a keeper! However, her coworker, Tomi actually yelled at me… (I nicely/politely asked her to repeat something she said… because I didn’t understand her accent.) Christina apologized for her repeatedly - Tomi should’ve been the one apologizing. That night, we asked for an extra blanket. It was nowhere mentioned on the Expedia page for this hotel nor my reservation that parking is first come, first serve. It is also $20 for parking, which I would've paid if parking was available. Overall the property was clean, modern, and in a good location, and front desk staff was helpful upon checkin so I’m giving 2 stars, but I wouldn’t stay here again. We booked our room 3 months ago with a king bed, the room we were given was listed as a king in their system but the bed was a full sized. We asked to move to a king room but they said they were all booked, so they gave us a room with 2 queens which was appreciated, but still not what we booked. The shower was also a downgrade as the first room had an upgraded walk-in shower and the second room had an old tub shower. I’m not sure how they were all full, the place was a ghost town. On day 3, we came back at the end of the day and our door was left WIDE OPEN by housekeeping for hours. We left the hotel at 6am and didn’t come back until 5pm to find our door wide open (the doors don’t automatically close, you have to pull them shut). Luckily nothing was stolen, but totally unacceptable.

Talk about integrity!!! We left behind a nintendo switch in the room - minutes before we pulled out of the parking lot after check-out, I received a call from the front desk asking if we were still in the area, because the housekeeper found our game system in the room. We were very appreciative and grateful for their honesty. Convenient location. Police station a few feet away, right on the boardwalk. Typical Wildwood motel layout and room size. If you're a germaphobe and picky like my family, you'll appreciate the white sheets and white towels. The honesty of the housekeeper and front desk staff made a world of a difference! This level of integrity shown by the staff here, is who I would hire to operate my business.

We were really excited to stay here. The location is great but the staff at the desk were rude. The table in our room was dirty when we walked in, the bathroom door was not closing properly and there was a gap on the bottom of our door with it rotting. Overall the location right on the boardwalk was the best part of this stay.

The air conditioner does not blow continuously either have to have it go on and off all night or put it on fan and hope it doesn’t get too hot, if you can deal with that, the beds are fairly comfortable and the place is clean. You can walk right onto the boardwalk and then you can go underneath the boardwalk to access the beach. It is in front of a pool club, but you can see ocean from the front view and there’s plenty of furniture all around the property to sit on people do bring their dogs there.

Nice hotel right on the boardwalk but more toward the northern end so it’s not quite as busy which is nice. Only negative was they didn’t have coffee on site in the morning! Lol. Never seen a hotel that didn’t. No worries you have DD or a coffee shop within a block away in either direction.

Be prepared as if you were staying in a camper! No in room coffee maker or in the motel, also no iron. You might want to bring your own toiletries as well. We had to basically beg for toilet paper and fresh towels. Some front desk staff were rude when asking for assistance with things. A pizza box sat outside near entrance for more than a day before it was picked up. Dont expect to see the ocean. It is so far away, and depending on where your planning on going on the boardwalk its a haul, this motel is basically at the end of the walk. Also the motel has outlets that dont work, and are very few and far between. Ghe shades dont pull all the way closed so the bright front lights gleam in at night. I would not recommend this motel at all especially for the outrageous price!

I asked for aground floor room, as I was traveling with mature ladies and still ended up having to go up what felt like 567 stairs. We were there in Nov and they had ONE paper thin blanket in the bed and when we asked for more, they gave us another paper thin blanket.

Previously staying at Cabana was an amazing experience so we were hopeful that the familiarity and knowledge of the property would give us another top notch weekend away. Since our last visit, I can only assume that management or ownership has changed because everything was completely different. Not only we charged. A daily rate for parking at the hotel, but breakfast is no longer included in the stay, although it is advertised on the website. The room we booked online was not the room that we received upon our arrival, despite the nearly empty property, and a higher security deposit is now due at the time of reservation, even if you have already paid in full. Lastly we had a ridiculous fruit fly problem in our room that seemed to linger the entire weekend, despite Not having one piece of fruit in our room. While the cleaning staff was friendly and accommodating, the condition of the room upon our arrival was subpar with sand on the floor, and hair on the walls in the bathroom. It’s almost like they cleaned all of the surfaces, but not necessarily the walls, handles, or floors very well. I have always loved this hotel due to its location, and reasonable pricing, however, the hidden fees, and exclusions have really made me consider looking at a new place for our next visit in town.

I would not recommend staying here unless direct access to the boardwalk is your top priority. Parking is not included, which was not clearly disclosed prior to booking. The cleanliness of the room also needs significant improvement. The soundproofing is extremely poor- you can literally hear the guests in the next room talking.
