Compliqué au niveau de la navette qui n’est pas gratuite, il faut prendre un taxi qui nous a coûté 48 € de l’aéroport à l’hôtel pour un quart d’heure de route et le lendemain au retour de l’hôtel à l’aéroport, 30 € bizarrement pas le même prix ni le même Taxi dans la chambre une latte de volet cassé donc envoyé le jour et le froid passé par la fenêtre, on a été obligé de mettre des serviettes seul la restauration était bonne le petit déjeuner était léger

The two good things about the hotel is that it is 10 minutes to the Palermo airport and the restaurant on the ground floor is acceptable. The hotel room itself may be one step above a hostel. Just a flat sheet over a bare mattress with another flat sheet over that. With one very lumpy pillow. When I asked for another cover, I was given two very sketchy looking brown bedspreads. We were given to rough bath towels, and one hand towel. The elevator is an antique. And we couldn’t find the stairs. The elevator took his long is five minutes to arrive. And there are only the ground floor and the first floor. The ground floor is a restaurant in the first floor has rooms.

The room was large and clean but sparsely furnished. It had one chair that was broken. There was no soap in the bathroom, only shampoo. People were friendly and helpful. They arranged an early morning taxi for us to get to the airport. The restaurant was adequate. Location is great for getting to the airport and it is close to the beach.

Although I loved the fact that there was music in the dining area it went way too late. We were trying to go to sleep and the music was so loud we couldn’t do anything to block it out. The food was absolutely fabulous in the restaurant. Obviously this is the place to be on a Saturday night. Amenities were good and pretty basic and the place was clean

A good value hotel. The entrance and arrival was uninspiring but the room was spotless and the breakfast staff pleasant and helpful. Although the hotel is very close to the airport the taxi fare was €40. However, I would certainly stay again as a transit hotel.

The excellent and friendly staff of Il Pirata is their greatest asset. Such a pleasure to interact with these wonderful people! The food and dining experience is a close second. Wonderful food, comfortable environment, and great family of staff. Very convenient to the Palermo airport, and within easy day trips of many interesting and dramatic views of Sicily and Sicilian history. Il Pirata is very highly recommended!

We chose to stay at this property to catch an early morning flight. The hotel is super convenient for this, and likely one of the only reasons they remain in business. First, we did not feel welcome at the property. The receptionist in the restaurant asked for our passports, copied the info, then handed us our room key. No pleasentries exchanged. Next, the interior and exterior of the building were much more dated than the photos. Our room had marks all over the walls, a hole in the bathroom door which had been filled with toilet paper, hair that looked to be mopped around on the bathroom floor, dirt in the bottom of the shower, plenty of calcium build up on the showerhead and shower base, a broken rusted handle for the shower, and a missing light cover for the bathroom light. We had read that the restaurant below was amazing, but after seeing how dirty and unmaintaimed the room was we decided not too push our luck, as who kmows what the kitchen is like. If you are in need of a cheap hostel, this is your place, as airport and beach access are easy.

It is near the airport which was about a 10min drive. Simple check out and spacious rooms. However, the room had some bugs, was dirty, and had trash his the closet. Additionally, we had to ask for toilet paper which the hotel seemed bothered to provide.

Hébergement à 15 minutes de voiture de l'aéroport de Palermo. Chambre au dessus d'un restaurant où on y mange très bien, pratique et confortable. Accueil très chaleureux. Juste un bémol: il y avait un bruit sourd dans la chambre que je n'ai pas pu identifier la source, mais si on met les boules quiès, ça va mieux.

We chose to stay at this property to catch an early morning flight. The hotel is super convenient for this, and likely one of the only reasons they remain in business. First, we did not feel welcome at the property. The receptionist in the restaurant asked for our passports, copied the info, then handed us our room key. No pleasentries exchanged. Next, the interior and exterior of the building were much more dated than the photos. Our room had marks all over the walls, a hole in the bathroom door which had been filled with toilet paper, hair that looked to be mopped around on the bathroom floor, dirt in the bottom of the shower, plenty of calcium build up on the showerhead and shower base, a broken rusted handle for the shower, and a missing light cover for the bathroom light. We had read that the restaurant below was amazing, but after seeing how dirty and unmaintaimed the room was we decided not too push our luck, as who kmows what the kitchen is like. If you are in need of a cheap hostel, this is your place, as airport and beach access are easy.

Wonderful food, comfortable environment, and great family of staff. It is near the airport which was about a 10min drive. Simple check out and spacious rooms. However, the room had some bugs, was dirty, and had trash his the closet. Additionally, we had to ask for toilet paper which the hotel seemed bothered to provide.

From the moment we walked in we were treated like family! Filippo was professional yet down to earth, cracking a joke or two as he checked us in. The entire staff was exceptional. The food in the restaurant was OUTSTANDING! If you’re looking for fancy-go elsewhere. This is a modest little older hotel in a quiet little town. Not expensive at all. It was enough for us! Would recommend.

The room was large and clean but sparsely furnished. It had one chair that was broken. There was no soap in the bathroom, only shampoo. People were friendly and helpful. A good value hotel. The entrance and arrival was uninspiring but the room was spotless and the breakfast staff pleasant and helpful. Although the hotel is very close to the airport the taxi fare was €40. However, I would certainly stay again as a transit hotel.

Rented this place because close to airport, onsite parking and restaurant attached which was perfect for a flight next day. The room was ok. Just had the basic room with a bed and TV. I will say the bathroom was decent and the shower head had the perfect pressure.
