Worst experience ever!!! I paid for a Quality Inn room through Expedia. When I arrived at 9 PM, the receptionist told me I could not park my U-Haul trailer on the property and held up a sign stating no trucks or trailers. I said there were plenty of parking spaces. I explained that I had a handicap sticker and wanted to park there, but she said NO. I asked to talk to the manager, and she said I could not. She said I could park off property behind a row of trees in a field. I responded that was unacceptable. I went outside and discovered a large parking lot on the backside of the motel. It was totally empty. I went back in and requested my room and onsite parking. The receptionist responded, NO. I went and viewed the crowded parking area next door in a field. It was mainly concealed behind a row of trees. When I walked back to my vehicle, two police cars arrived. The receptionist had called the police to demand that I leave the property. I explained to the police the situation and showed them the empty parking lot. With no results, they tried to persuade the motel to allow us to park on the property. Police said they had been called before to this motel when customers felt they had been cheated out of $. Avoid this hotel in Hamilton, AL.

First ice machine bathrooms Etc either did not work or were locked because they did not want people in them is what we were told. Breakfast was horrible. When asking the staff about issues with ice maker and bathrooms I was told that because of rude guest and people this is how things are. Incredible that that is the response you get would not recommend staying. As a matter of fact we were going to stay an extra night until all this happened.

This hotel was clean, well maintained, quiet, friendly, and overall, exemplary. I wish all Quality Inns were all like this one. We were towing a long trailer which didn't fit into the lot but the hotel owns a adjacent dirt lot which can hold several over-sized vehicles so it was no problem.

Someone kept trying to come in our door/ guess wrong room Ac was very dirty vents and coils woke up with a nose bleed Told manager he said it was just the environment he gets them too. It’s ok for one night. But not if you need good rest. Breakfast area very small not much to choose from

The agent wouldn’t match the rate and said we had to book through them. I did so right there at the desk. I used the only card I have and got an immediate confirmation. After about 15 minutes, the unfriendly agent said she couldn’t check us in because the card she had on file didn’t match what I used to pay. ITS MY ONLY CARD. I showed her my receipt showing the last four digits of my card as well as my physical card that matched. She said there was nothing she could do. No manager on property. She called the manager at home and we were told to wait and they would try to be there to help us in about 30-minutes. Once the manager arrived, she was able to do something in the computer and we were good to check in. No apology. No explanation. The room was smelly and muggy. At this point, we just needed sleep. Very poor customer service

The lamps were blinking and the entry light went out right away inside our room. And i wasn't a fan of the coffee maker being in the bathroom. But otherwise it was a clean hotel with friendly staff and they stayed on top of meeting any needs.

The hotel charge me more than what it said it would and when I spoke to the front desk, they can barely speak English and they told me my bank charged me twice and my bank said that was ridiculous. So now I’m fighting to get my money back.

(Do Not Recommend) My family's experience was unacceptable. We had paid for our reservation in full through Hotels.com prior to our arrival. We arrived late and were exhausted with a small child. Upon attempting to check in, we were informed that a credit card was mandatory for an "incidentals" hold. The hotel would not accept a debit card for this hold, despite the room already being paid for. Because I did not have my credit card with me, the hotel refused to allow us to stay. We were stranded late at night and were ultimately forced to sleep in our car with our small child at a nearby truck stop. As an individual whose husband travels weekly and stays in hotels often (as a lineman), we have never encountered a mandatory "credit card only" policy for an incidentals hold, particularly at a 2-star establishment. I have lost my money and Hotels.com rewards points, but most importantly, this lack of flexibility and common sense caused an immense amount of distress and ruined our travel plans. I do not recommend this hotel to any traveler.

I was given a card for room 220 two separate times when my room was 219 and on the third attempt I asked the representative what card he was given me for what room and he admitted he was given me the wrong key to the wrong room so he fixed it. My female teenager was waiting in front of the hotel room door with our luggage while i was running back n forth trying to get the right key. Also he told me it was easier to get to my room from back of them building so i parked back there with my luggage and found out there was no way to open the door. So we had to drag our luggage around the front of the building to go in the front. Told me there wasnt going to be a hold on my credit card but there was a $75 hold placed. When i went to check out i complained to the front desk about it and he was very rude, accused me of lying and said they got cameras with audio. I said thats great they will be able to see and hear how i was treated. I will never stay there again.

I was given a card for room 220 two separate times when my room was 219 and on the third attempt I asked the representative what card he was given me for what room and he admitted he was given me the wrong key to the wrong room so he fixed it. My female teenager was waiting in front of the hotel room door with our luggage while i was running back n forth trying to get the right key. Also he told me it was easier to get to my room from back of them building so i parked back there with my luggage and found out there was no way to open the door. So we had to drag our luggage around the front of the building to go in the front. Told me there wasnt going to be a hold on my credit card but there was a $75 hold placed. When i went to check out i complained to the front desk about it and he was very rude, accused me of lying and said they got cameras with audio. I said thats great they will be able to see and hear how i was treated. I will never stay there again.

Horrible experience. You pre-pay yet they put a $200 hold on your credit card. Front desk has no empathy towards this situation. No emotion or offer to help in any way. Will never stay here ever again or any Quality Inn.

DO NOT BOOK HERE even the towns people would not recommend this place. The name of the hotel has changed but not the owner. They tried to charge my card a extra 100 dollar's and told me they were not charging my card. I call credit card company while there and while I'm on phone I curse and the assistance manager tells me she's not giving me the room now and I need to leave. She refused to give me her name and calls the cops on me because I'm now trust passing. This is not the first time this owner has scammed people out of their money. If the locals don't recommend this place you know its not a good place to stay!

Upon arrival (without a reservation) we were told there was vacancy. The walk in rate was considerably higher than booking through Expedia. The agent wouldn’t match the rate and said we had to book through them. I did so right there at the desk. I used the only card I have and got an immediate confirmation. After about 15 minutes, the unfriendly agent said she couldn’t check us in because the card she had on file didn’t match what I used to pay. ITS MY ONLY CARD. I showed her my receipt showing the last four digits of my card as well as my physical card that matched. She said there was nothing she could do. No manager on property. She called the manager at home and we were told to wait and they would try to be there to help us in about 30-minutes. Once the manager arrived, she was able to do something in the computer and we were good to check in. No apology. No explanation. The room was smelly and muggy. At this point, we just needed sleep. Very poor customer service

This was a lovely little stop. Not much in the area but it was quiet, extremely clean and the staff was crazy friendly. If you’re looking for a quick and quiet stop, this is the right place! We’d stay there again in a minute! We drive cross country all the time and for the price, it’s perfect!

This property is right next to the highway. It’s a very clean, safe place to stay when you grow weary of the long roads between Alabama and Mississippi. I visited 10 years ago. Even though the area has had beautiful and proper growth, this place is still my choice for a safe haven from road weary traveling. Worth every dollar spent.

It was very noisy all day and night. Someone kept trying to come in our door/ guess wrong room Ac was very dirty vents and coils woke up with a nose bleed Told manager he said it was just the environment he gets them too. It’s ok for one night. But not if you need good rest. Breakfast area very small not much to choose from

We had a great stay! Hot showers, comfortable beds and cold room during the summer time! Breakfast area is a little small but it works for the size of the hotel. We had a slight chemical like smell… I think it was from the air unit… but it kept us cool… and we just sprayed some Lysol…. We got fresh towels everyday! The lady at the front was kind… It was overall great stay!

The female at the front desk was rude and snarky . 😠 The hotel required a physical credit card for deposit. Didn’t seem right. The reason I use Expedia is for security reasons and not giving out my credit card number . Beyond the front dest , I found the hotel clean comfortable and well maintained. Customer service means a lot to me and for this reason I will probably not return unless there’s nowhere else to go .

Will never book a Quality Inn room again. Reserved room thru 3rd party, payment went thru just fine. Had a 16’ Penske truck and parked in front of office to check in. Was told to move truck out in dirt area. Said ok but needed to check in first bcuz I’m not carrying all my luggage across dirt lot. Was told no that we had to move truck first so she could see truck was moved. That’s just stupid! Made no sense but brought all stuff inside office then moved truck. I asked why and was sarcastically told the sign outside speaks for itself. Ok so we’re going to be rude. Credit card requested to hold for incidentals even tho room was paid for. I understood that as all hotels do that. Tried 2x still declined. Tried another card and it was declined. I asked how much she was trying to put on hold. Was told it’s open (no set amount). Of course cards were declined. My credit union/bank doesn't do that. Was told I don’t know what to tell you. Ok…more rudeness! I asked how do I get refund and was basically told that was my problem. If I contacted the 3rd party I went thru then have them call her and she would authorize reimbursement. Otherwise she couldn’t help me. Boyfriend came in from moving truck, I explained situation. He said we can figure out reimbursement later and he’ll just pay for room I already reserved. Was told no we couldn’t do that. It already locked her out. Discussion back and forth, we left very upset, very tired after driving all day. VERY RUDE PERSON!
