The room was above the Captain Cook pub, which was very convenient. The restaurant had great food and drink, and the service/personality of the staff was fantastic. The atmosphere was kinda special, with it being mostly locals and regulars. Everyone was very friendly. There were a couple of Underground stations near by, which made it accessible to many of London's attractions.

The captain cook is a lovely unique bar and restaurant. The rooms are decorated with really nice “ship” touches. The manager was very welcoming and enjoyable to meet. Will be staying again as my son attending university at Imperial so handy for being close to the city yet still good for parking.

Staff was outstanding. Food in the pub downstairs was great. Good nearby ethnic restaurants. Buses ran down the street and directly to Hammersmith Station (Tube). One downside is no lift but staff compensated when we arrived. Not open til 1pm so plan arrival accordingly.

Large spacious room, super king size bed, and all on top of a great pub. The pub served food all day, was bright and airy, never too busy that noise would be an issue. All round lovely pub and hotel.

A good size room, had the ensuite. Big comfortable bed, tv and tea/ coffee facilities. Well decorated room. Free toiletries. 10% discount for food at the bar due to staying there. Tapas food was amazing, good selection of wine, beers. Even got a 10% at MIL kitchen. Staff were great, friendly and couldnt do enough for you

We stayed for two nights. The rooms were large, clean and had a map on the wall showing Captain Cook's voyages of discovery! The pub downstairs is also a tapas restaurant and the food is amazing. Try the pork belly bites for a taste experience! The unavoidable downsides are that the rooms were uo two steep flights of stairs and the bathroom is shared, so if you have mobility issues or want guaranteed privacy, this may not be the hotel for you. You can still eat the pork belly bites though! One serious suggestion: because the bathroom is shared, there really needs to be a hook in the bedroom for hanging up a damp towel. Other than that, it was great and it's a shame I don't to stay in that part of London again.

Very nice room. If you’ve been walking all day, it’s quite a walk from Fulham Broadway tube station. The bed and pillows were exceptional, and the room was spotless. As they don’t do breakfast, a biscuit with your tea might have been nice.

Great spot with lovely big room with big bed. Very clean and not noisy. Blind in room needs to be fixed. Be prepared to walk up 3 flights of stairs with suitcases...need to be fit and strong ;-)

The hotel and its attached bar were wonderful, and both the owner and the staff were all lovely as well. I would just highlight three things to be mindful off: 1) It's a bit far from the center of London, Google said it was roughly less than 30 minutes away, but with commute traffic it was closer to 45 minutes. 2) Since its a historical building they aren't allowed to add an elevator, so you'll need to go up a fairly length flight of stairs, be mindful with your luggage. 3) And lastly, the bathroom facilities are shared between room, so the bathroom is split into three separate rooms, one with the shower, one with the sink, and one with the toilet. It took some getting used to, but I was still very happy with our stay there, and I recommend you try out their menu at the bar.

The Captain Cook is clean and in a quiet area. You escape the tourist crowds and the rates are a real bargain, too. The pub below the rooms served great food and the buses to downtown London and the tube were very convenient. Plus, the Mil Kitchen around the corner served a great breakfast. We will be going back when visiting London. Also, the staff members were super friendly.

The place is well located in a quieter part of the city. The room is spacious and is exactly as advertised. The only downside was the windows don’t close thoroughly so you can hear street noise throughout the night, and especially in the morning. Overall good place for its price.

We stayed at the Captain Cook for 2 weeks and had such a great stay. Public transport was easily accessible. The room was a great size with a comfy bed. The only recommendation I would have is to maybe just have signs reminding other guests to mind their noise level. There were guests that slammed doors so loudly without any regard for the rest of the guests. Other than that were already counting down the days for our next stay.

Really good stay, checked in at a busy time in the bar but was seen to so quickly! Informed of all the information. Over night there was no noise and had a peaceful nights sleep. 10/15 mins walk to the nearest tube and only 20 mins into the city We will stay here again !!

First time ever staying in England from Canada. The staff were lovely and incredibly accommodating. The food at the Pub was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend. Will absolutely be staying again :)!

We arrvied a little early, they checked and the room was ready so we were able to check straight in, which was so helpful. Room was lovely and comfortable, towels super soft, we had water and tea, coffee etc, could not ask for more. Excellant welcome and service. Great place to stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly liked Tina who helped with directions. The room was large and bed was comfortable. We would have liked a second chair in the room to sit and have coffee in the morning and not have to sit on the bed

Wonderful property and management! The owner was incredibly polite and personable. Got to hear about her story and how she manages the place. She even gave us recommendations for our trip that we loved! Additionally, the rooms were very homey and clean. Would recommend this property to anyone visiting! Having the restaurant below the hotel was also very convenient.

Tastefully decorated. Great location for gigs in Hammersmith. Just a short bus ride away. Loads of breakfast options nearby.

The room was above the Captain Cook pub, which was very convenient. The restaurant had great food and drink, and the service/personality of the staff was fantastic. The atmosphere was kinda special, with it being mostly locals and regulars. Everyone was very friendly. There were a couple of Underground stations near by, which made it accessible to many of London's attractions.

The Captain Cook was conveniently located in the quiet and lovely Fulham neighborhood. It sits above a pub and tapas place with great food and friendly service. Across the street is the Bedford Pub, which is a fun neighborhood pub with great drinks and sports on tv. The Captain Cook is also conveniently located to busses and underground, which make getting to anything in London convenient. The room was clean and updated with a very comfortable bed.

Very clean and comfortable. A perfect spot if needing a stay in the Fulham/Chelsea area. Very easy check in. Cozy beds and refreshing shower (if you choose the private bathroom access).

Good value accommodation , no breakfasts served . Bathroom had no ventilation and smelt musty and some mould between tiles . Also no air con and was hot .

The pub and hotel were excellent. My boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner, tapas was excellent. And the Rose wine. Had a lovely en-suite room although had to move the side table as was positioned so it was hard to get into bed! Easy check in and check out

Beautiful pub with great wine choices and amazing authentic Spanish tapas. Really nice decor and cute outdoor space. We stayed in the pub too and the room was clean and spacious. Tastefully decorated. Great location for gigs in Hammersmith. Just a short bus ride away. Loads of breakfast options nearby.

The room was perfect for one night. Not much counter space in the bathroom but worked. It is not close to a tube station so keep that in mind. Dinner at the pub was excellent…definitely elevated and not typical bar food. Bonus was the house band played an excellent mix of fun tunes!

The Captain Cook is clean and in a quiet area. You escape the tourist crowds and the rates are a real bargain, too. The pub below the rooms served great food and the buses to downtown London and the tube were very convenient. Plus, the Mil Kitchen around the corner served a great breakfast. We will be going back when visiting London. Also, the staff members were super friendly.

Amazing place! The staff was realiy nice and the place was clean. It's in a good neighbourhood. The mattress is ultra comfortable and big. It has a kettle and some complimentary tea and coffee. Also, the restaurant is super good!

The Captain Cook Hotel is cute and the staff were very friendly. The stairwell was narrow and there were a lot of stairs if you are carrying heavy luggage. The restaurant and bar pretty good. Again, the staff was great.

Clean room but extremely hot (not hotel’s fault!) They provided extra fan for us.. water was warm / hot as water boiler in roof so couldn’t get cold water. Good and ambience really nice downstairs !

We would’ve enjoyed this space more if it wasn’t during record high London temperatures. The room was absolutely sweltering and miserable. We did our best with open windows and a fan. We had a chocolate bar that liquified which occurs around 34 C (93 F), so that was our best clue to the temperature of the room. We paid for the detached bathroom and that wasn’t our favorite. The bathroom temperature was even worse due to lack of air flow since I didn’t feel comfortable using it with the door open since it was in a hall where others were staying. But a cold shower was the only respite from the heat. Like I said, we would’ve greatly enjoyed staying here during cooler temps. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and had great atmosphere. The window boxes were filled with flowers outside our room. The area was very quiet. I enjoyed the room decor.

We stayed here for Wimbledon as walk to underground from accommodation is around 20 mins then just a couple of stops from parson green to Wimbledon. The weather was extremely hot, the room was like an oven . Fan in ceiling but didn’t help cool room ,just circulated air, Had a window but no breeze. Worst 2 night sleep , we both ended up sleeping on floor as it was slightly cooler . Even cold water was warm . Wanted a cold shower after long hot day at Wimbledon but it was too warm and made room worst . Believe all rooms were same as spoke to others staying and they said there rooms were like a sauna .Basic rooms and little tired . Wouldn’t stay here again .
