The on-site manager was very accommodating and helpful, however, the downstairs lobby was all but uninhabitable because it was so cold. This made relaxing at the bar like sitting outside.

The staff really make this hotel run! My holiday was enhanced by this experience with staying with Hyatt in Evanston with the polite customer service. The breakfast was good, just what you needed to start the day. Everyday there is something different and its all you can eat style! The gym is 24hrs so you can go in whenever you want to pump your heart and lift some iron. And this is a convenient hotel as your a 40-50 minute train journey away from Chicago! A 6 minute walking distance from Northwestern University (Highly recommend to check that out!), and the hotel is in town so you have many food options around for lunch and dinner. Big shout out to the cleaners they deserve their big props, one of them found my earphones and gave it to one of the concierges. The concierges are great, I have to give a BIG shoutout to Arthur, Justin and Khalil! They are a reflection of great customer service, gave me advice on where I should go and how I should go about it and helped when I needed it most! Shout out to you guys, BIG 3!!! If I was to come for a trip to Chicago, I would stay in Evanston again as all around from the Kitchen Staff, Cleaners and Concireges, The area and the convenience its worth it!

Nice hotel in a nice area of Evanston close to shops and restaurants. Parking easy in back for a fee. Our daughter is at Loyola U about 3 miles down the road so was p pretty convenient location to go back and forth.

The hotel is in a convenient location and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere. The staff were nice and knowledgeable of where to eat and visit. The gym was clean. Other than having to pay for parking, I was happy with our stay and would return again.

We booked here last minute after another hotel canceled the reservation with no notice. Staff was nice and the room was very nice as well. Basically a studio apartment with a kitchen and everything. Will definitely make it my go to place when visiting Chicago.

Location is great. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Gym was open 24 hours which is convenient. Negatives- gym not maintained as wipes ran out, water cups ran out and no towels available. Room though clean, needed upkeep as light was falling from ceiling, bathroom fan did not appear to work and shower faucet handle felt like it was going to fall off. There was a lack of communication about how much valet parking would be and how often the room would be cleaned. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and would stay again.

This was one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The staff (including the valet parkers) were polite, professional, courteous and more than helpful. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was really a full service breakfast. The downside, which to me could be a deal breaker, was the bathroom was in the bedroom. We had a beautiful suite, but having the bathroom was the most inconvenient bathroom I have experienced in a hotel. Whether one of us wanted to get up early and shower and get ready, or stay up later than the other, we felt we couldn't. Also if we had to get up in the middle of the night, was a problem!

This property was way overpriced for what it was worth. It was an absolute rip off for what I had to pay but it was either sleep on the streets or sleeping in bed. The property was clean and room was clean and I had no complaints except for the pillows were god-awful and I had to see my chiropractor once I got back in town it was like sleeping on a hard brick I think prison inmates get better pillows in this. Looking through some other comments it looks like I'm not the only one either I was in so much pain the next day with my neck it was awful.

The hotel was nice for the price, clean, room is spacious,. Has parking. With Nice breakfast. That’s all I need in a hotel. Just wish they have a 24 hour coffee that is available at the lobby. But over all we were happy.

Staff was great, and the place was fairly clean. Really great location with so many restaurants and shops that were walkable. The building isn't very old, which is why I was surprised at how much sound bled between rooms. I could easily hear entire conversations and snoring from the rooms on either side of me, and the elevator chime was so loud that I could hear it from inside my room (despite not being close to it). Bring ear plugs.

I appreciate the location and proximity to shops--very walkable. Hotel overall is cosmetically updated but, the walls between the room are PAPER thin. We could hear EVERYTHING. There's supposedly quiet time starting at 10 pm. We had kids in the room next to us that were literally screaming and loud until 1:00am, despite 3 noise complaints by us. (2 of which were to front desk staff directly). Your non-refundable pet fee is obnoxious. I've stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels downtown Chicago that require a refundable (if no damage done) pet deposit, which is totally understandable, since pets can have accidents. The staff really make this hotel run! My holiday was enhanced by this experience with staying with Hyatt in Evanston with the polite customer service. The breakfast was good, just what you needed to start the day. Everyday there is something different and its all you can eat style! The gym is 24hrs so you can go in whenever you want to pump your heart and lift some iron. And this is a convenient hotel as your a 40-50 minute train journey away from Chicago! A 6 minute walking distance from Northwestern University (Highly recommend to check that out!), and the hotel is in town so you have many food options around for lunch and dinner. Big shout out to the cleaners they deserve their big props, one of them found my earphones and gave it to one of the concierges. The concierges are great, I have to give a BIG shoutout to Arthur, Justin and Khalil! They are a reflection of great customer service, gave me advice on where I should go and how I should go about it and helped when I needed it most! Shout out to you guys, BIG 3!!! If I was to come for a trip to Chicago, I would stay in Evanston again as all around from the Kitchen Staff, Cleaners and Concireges, The area and the convenience its worth it!

We stayed at the Hyatt House for 7 nights. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. One thing we really appreciated was the daily housekeeping. We would definitely stay there again.

Immediately walking in to the property I eas impressed. The staff was wonderful. So personable and accommodating. Upon entering the room I was very happy. We had 5 people so reserved a larger room. To my surprise it had a mini kitchen and kitchen sitting area with the sitting room and pull out soda. So much room and so clean . The location is close to Northwestern University. We also were able to walk for dinner. We also were able to walk to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again soon.

Nice hotel in a nice area of Evanston close to shops and restaurants. Parking easy in back for a fee. Our daughter is at Loyola U about 3 miles down the road so was p pretty convenient location to go back and forth.

Staff was great, and the place was fairly clean. Really great location with so many restaurants and shops that were walkable. The building isn't very old, which is why I was surprised at how much sound bled between rooms. I could easily hear entire conversations and snoring from the rooms on either side of me, and the elevator chime was so loud that I could hear it from inside my room (despite not being close to it). Bring ear plugs.

I stayed here about 5 days with my mom because of my graduation audition in Northwestern University. The atmosphere of Hotel was very relaxed and safe. Delicious breakfast and kind service. Thanks a lot! I wish I could visit again :)

Title: Perfect stay for our big family! We have four kids and stayed in a suite, which was spacious enough for our entire family. We stayed for 8 nights and were very happy with how clean and well-maintained the hotel was. The location is excellent—very close to the lake, and both Target and Trader Joe’s are within walking distance. Breakfast had a great variety, and we especially appreciated being able to order fresh omelets. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was the parking fee, which was $25 per night. Other than that, everything was perfect. We’d love to come back again in the future!

I love this hotel. Ive stayed here several times. Breakfast is great, the rooms are a perfect size for families and you can walk to everywhere you need to go in Evanston but I was frustrated that our room took a long time to cool down every night. I get there was a heatwave that week but the reason we stayed here instead of with family is to take advantage of the full suite of amenities (which includes sleeping in a cool room during the summer). I was disappointed that their eco friendly thermostats didnt keep the rooms reasonably cool while we were out for the day resulting in a several hour cool down period when we got back.

Evanston was recommended to me as an alternative place to stay as opposed to downtown Chicago. Only 20 mins from the Ogilvie Transit centre in Chicago and also about 45 mins from downtown by Purple/ Red lines. Evanston itself is lovely (located on the lakeshore with a wide range of restaurants, cafes and lovely little shops. It has a nice atmosphere and very safe. The accommodation was very nice, comfortable, clean and safe. The breakfast provided was very good. I didn’t use the gym but noticed it was very well equipped and maintained. There was a lovely patio area on the 2nd floor which was very nice. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the accommodation for anyone looking to visit Chicago on holiday but wanting to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown. Thank you.
