Also ask front desk if there is a private party at the Monaco club attached in front. A very festive party went on with techno music until the wee hours of the morning. My wife and I sleep hard so it didn’t bother us. If you’re a light sleeper, better ask first. Also bathroom was rehabbed and it was BEAUTIFUL. Front part of the room was not. Bed was comfortable and clean, coffee maker and micro in room. I would definitely stay here again.

The pictures of the elaborate staircase are of the front of the building, which is actually a restaurant/club and not part of the hotel. The hotel is around the corner and gives off more of a motel vibe. The room had a very half-effort luxury facade to it, with things sloppily painted over and furnishings plopped into an otherwise mundane motel room. The bed was comically squeeky and uncomfortable and my blanket had what looked like cigarette burn holes in it. For positives the check-in / check out process was smooth, the room at least did not feel unsanitary, the shower was nice and stocked. If you're happy with the price and willing to approach it as a budget motel and not a luxury property, it will get the job done - but don't be fooled by the word 'chateau' in the property because it's anything but.

I wish we were informed there would be a wedding reception happening directly above our room. At 1:30 am the music was still playing. It made for an exhausing day due to lack of sleep. I would best describe the property as a ball room/night club with a motel attached.

The lobby was difficult to locate and poorly labeled. I had gone to two different doors (one was locked and I was redirected from the second) prior to gaining access to the lobby. Parking was poorly identified which required my moving my car. Check out requires additional time/steps. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Hand towels were dirty. Air vent in bathroom full of dust and debris. Actual vent cover was laying on back of toilet seat. The bedding was near bare and I was freezing most of the night even with the heat vent on. Tap water smelled awful. Poor lighting in room.

They have a connected wedding venue. So there’s music blasting down the hall late into the night. The room we got had shelves that were tilting at an angle so much your phone would fall off it when you set it down. The mattresses were pretty old and springy. Good for the price, i guess, but worse than a Motel 6.

It is obvious that the buildings are older, but they are clean! Oscar, the front end person, could not have been more helpful and nice. The back parking lot is dark which makes it a little scary to walk to your room at night.

This place is adequate but do not look for any frills nor even for things you would normally expect in a hotel room. To be specific: the room is pretty bare. There's a bed, one bedside table with two drawers, and a shelf attached to the wall with a chair (this passes for a desk). There is one light, a glaring fluorescent fixture directly over the bed. There are no dressers (thus, nowhere to unpack your clothes), no proper desk, no other lights apart from the one, no carpeting (just faux hardwood with some kind of sticky film on it so when you walk it makes a crackling sound). The wifi password posted on the TV border was wrong so I couldn't connect to wifi, and I couldn't call the front desk to ask about it since the phone on the desk didn't work at all. The bathroom was clean, but it had only two very small towels and one wash-cloth for two of us to share. The bed was comfortable enough but there was just one very thin blanket. Fortunately we had some other blankets in our car so after we got those we were warm enough. This building is mainly a banquet hall, so we were serenaded by loud booming music until very late at night. Note that the fancy stairs/banner shown in this place's photo IS NOT PART OF THE HOTEL; it's the entrance to the banquet hall. The hotel is in the back/downstairs part of the building which has a separate entrance (way less fancy!) around the back.

Very crappy neighborhood. Motel is very dated. Website is very misleading. Parking poor! Toilet, leaked at the Bowl every time you flush it. Not enough towels.. very one ply toilet tissue. Nothing good to say about this place.

The room was decent, in fairly clean condition. the main hallway smelled faintly of smoke but it didn't bother me too much since the room itself didn't smell. the rooms are basically attached to a ballroom that at the time of my stay was hosting a party each night of my stay, the music was very loud and didn't stop until after midnight making it a pretty annoying night overall. that was my biggest complaint.

Room was not very clean and it looked like a landlord's special paint job inside. Not professional. An event had music blasting well into the evening hours and there was no escape from the sound while in my room. I literally couldn't hear the desk attendant when he showed up due to the music

The floors were sticky, the bathroom was filthy, it smelled like people just smoked cigars in the non smoking room, the shower didn’t have shower head, the smoke detector was disconnected, the tv didn’t work, there was a door connecting to the next room that had a dog barking in it

Did not accommodate accessibility limitations of my family for a basic ride up an elevator. Filthy, loud, cops in parking lot first 15 minutes in. Room was missing furniture. Holes in walls. Smelt smokey in non smoking room. Avoid.

Dingy,  disgusting, never have I ever !   People lived in hotel rooms down stairs ! Exposed wiring , outside, door wouldn’t lock looks like was kicked in.. sheets stained hair in the bed.. hair in shower and tub, couch’s ripped, dead bugs, ants , tv remote didn’t work Window was broken .. brown or blood stains on base board chipping paint..holes in the ceiling .. ceiling stained.. ironing board was disgusting and stained .. didn’t even upload all 25 pictures

Rooms are dirty. Our room had no shower towels upon arrival. Went to front desk and they would only give us 3 small towels when asking for 4 or more. Front desk attendant was very unfriendly. Sheets had cigarette burns on them. 3 out of 4 light bulbs over the bed were out. My wife wouldn’t sleep in the bed and we left at 8am the next morning. Stay away from this property!

The room was a bit dated, but it was clean and served it's purpose. The shower is super nice. The hot tub was great but it had no jets which surprised me.. my only complaint is we definitely could have used more towels and pillows.

The room was ok. Nothing special really about it. Asked for extra towels and pillows but they said they did not have any extras. The room is billed with a hot tub, saw a comment saying it was just a whirlpool tub, but we just had a basic bathtub. That was the biggest let down since that was the selling factor for this room for me.

We stayed in the presidential suite. It was an ok value, but did not have the sleeper sofa (but there was a sofa at least). One of the windows was broken and the music at the club was very loud.

Overall, the stay was ok. No major problems, but the mattress was awful. My wife and I were in town for a convention, but we cut out the last day of the trip to head home because neither of us could sleep well on the mattress and were both in pain. The room itself was fairly bare bones for being "the dream suite." No table or space to sit and eat comfortably. There was also a hole in the drywall we didn't notice until after the staff had left for the night. I reported it on check-out and am hoping we don't get blamed for it. If you don't have back issues, it's not a bad place to stay.

The staff was non existent and when they were available, no one was helpful. When I finally found staff they made inappropriate comments and questions about my ethnicity. The comforter had cigarette burns in it and the towlels in the bathroom were so thin and small they barely even dried anything. Never again.

I was surprised at the cleanliness of the room and quickness of the check in.

Awful! They called me twice the day before to confirm my reservation then when I got there told me there was a problem with my room and said they were fully booked. Once I showed that they called me twice yesterday shocking they had a room. Not the room I booked though and the bed was as hard as a rock. One pillow and we had to ask for towels. I would not recommend this place at all.

The person in the lobby was very nice to us when we requested a new room because the one that we got first wasn't too clean.

They did not have the room that i reserved over two weeks before and told me that at 5pm the day of check in. That turned out to be a godsend because upon inspection of the property I would not have stayed there anyway. Do not book a room at the Chateau Suites in East Norristown Pennsylvania. You have been warned. Shame on Expedia for lending any credence that this property is any resemblance of a decent place to stay. I have never before given a review of anything in my 70 years. You have been warned.

Staff was super nice! There is a lot around to eat within walking distance! We will be back!

Booked a room here a month or two in advance. I was near the end of my seven hour drive to the property when I got a phone call that they were cancelling my reservation on me! Room needed some sort of unspecified maintenance and was 'unusable'. No other rooms of any kind were available apparently, so I had to pull over and find another place to stay at the last minute - and about 45 minutes further away. No compensation, nothing. Completely unacceptable!

The room was eh ok. Not alot of hot water. When checking out nobody at desk and no one answers the after hrs number. If going down just for somewhere to stay, then it is not too bad.
