Houston Getaway by Downtown Pool Table Pets

Great property - thanks!

The house was in poor condition. The kitchen sink faucet was super loose, other faucets in the bathrooms were coming apart. The floors were dirty and sticky. There was visible mold in the bathrooms and swollen baseboards. The carpets were disgusting. In addition, the furniture was not as advertised. We had 6 people in the house and I checked to see if there would be enough seating in the living room for all of us. In the photos there is a couch and chairs, but when we got there there were no chairs and the couch is tiny. Only three of us couch relax in the living room.The pool table is falling apart, one of the pool sticks is completely bent and the foosball table is falling apart as well. We weren’t able to enjoy those items as a result. The living room couch is a joke, especially for a house that claims to house 10 people and it was also falling apart.My code wasn’t properly programmed so when I got there I wasn’t able to get in and it was dark. They claim that the area is nice and walkable but that is completely untrue, especially for women.

Hosts were top notch. Very helpful and quick to respond. We all enjoyed our stay. The master had the 2 queen beds on the 2nd floor with a nice big bathroom and closet. The half bath is on the 2nd floor as well. The place was easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of seating in the living/dining/kitchen area. It says there’s no street parking but there are parking spaces at the end of the block, very close to the residence. Everyone talked about how comfortable the beds were as well. It was well equipped, clean, and comfortable and very convenient to everything. We will stay there again when we return to Houston!!!

The stay was absolutely great. The house in a very quiet neighborhood and extremely safe. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer . Definitely would stay there again !!
