Crowne Plaza Saddle Brook by IHG

Our one night stay was pretty smooth. The place was clean and fairly well-kempt if a little outdated. The room was comfortable and everything we used worked well like the a/c, wi-fi and the bed was comfy. The only weird quirk was the breakfast buffet. It was on the rooftop bar/rest which was lovely. I went up there a little after 7am when it was suppose to open. They were still setting up the hot bar there was mostly just fruit and nature valley bars set up. It didn’t matter anyway bc I just wanted coffee and a couple bananas. Then I was asked for a ticket. Ticket? In my welcome one sheet there was no mention of needing a ticket for bfast. The lady was nice and let me go with the coffee and fruit but still. Add to this, the coffee was little better than what I would have made in my room with the k-pods. All in all I’d return but it was just funny.

Some of the electrical sockets weren’t working. Overall a good place to stay.
