Lovely place , we stayed in the outside rooms that were really modern. The pub itself was good, staff really friendly and it had a cracking menu , would definitely stay here again

My room was adequate size for a double bed but cramped due to also having a single bed. This left no space for a comfortable seat. There was only just enough room for my greyhound to lie between the 2 beds. The shower was poor, with a pulsing action, and never really got hot. Communal areas, including the bar, were welcoming and dog friendly. Food was reasonable but ales were disappointing. The stairs were hazardous due to a door opening on to them. This had a strong self-closing action and was very difficult to negotiate with luggage. It was particularly challenging to get through safely with my dog. That would dissuade me from staying there again.

This is a good stopping point for an overnight stay. The hotel is very handy for the rail station & the staff are very helpful & pleasant. The food is first class. The room ( single) was small & the bathroom even smaller- but ok for one night. It was a bit disconcerting to be unable to access the garden area during the time the pub was closed. This needs to be addressed as guests won’t realise the only area open to them is their room until the pub opens!

Comfortable bed and tea/coffee, access to warm shower. Nice pint of Guinness in the bar! Sadly I got there too late for an evening meal, and was up too early for breakfast. Just a brief stopover for a business trip.

The best thing about the Station Hotel is that is adjacent to Worksop Railway Station there is not much more to write home about this run down and unclean ‘hotel’ which though relatively low cost does not provide any value for money, comfort, reason to stay again or recommend. You check in at the bar however the staff cares nothing more than taking your money and ID, did not help with luggage or directions to the room, no information about the hotel amenities. They just did not care about me the customer. The double room was very compact, was extremely dirty, especially the stained carpet, and the bed was very uncomfortable given that the mattress was old and worn out. The room benefited from a nice modern TV yet the Wi-Fi worked when it felt like it. Noise from the main road outside was to be expected yet the thin internal walls meant that you could hear everything that was going on in the adjacent rooms which prevented sleep. The bathroom was some distance from the room and was also unclean with limited water pressure from the shower. On departure I met, the apparently long-standing head housekeeper, she was under the disillusion impression that she was running a five-star establishment and could see nothing amiss with the hotel, how pathetic.

The accommodation was perfect, really spacious and clean. Great parking. Modern and fresh decor. Close to Clumber Park, which was the reason we stopped there. The only negative thing was that the shower was luke warm, I mentioned this to a neighboring visitor who said hers was the same. I was only there for 2 nights so coped but it wasn't pleasant as I felt cold in the shower. It has been capped at that temp so needs upping a bit to make a more pleasurable experience for guests. Had I have been there longer I would have made an effort to tell staff at the time.

Took the ensuite room, toilet is too close to the shower unit so can't actually be used. Water practically ran out, was unable to shower and had to brush teeth with a trickle. Bed was very springy and loud, wasnt particularly comfortable. Otherwise the room was clean although a strange smell.. possibly from kitchen below.

The hotel was easy to find when arriving late at night, just a short walk from the station. Staff were friendly. It was just what I needed for an overnight stay and great value for money. Although I booked a single room with shared bathroom, it had a sink which I wasn't expecting. The rooms are basic but clean which is exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend for anyone wanting a cheap place to stay for a night, close to the station.

The room benefited from a nice modern TV yet the Wi-Fi worked when it felt like it. Noise from the main road outside was to be expected yet the thin internal walls meant that you could hear everything that was going on in the adjacent rooms which prevented sleep. The bathroom was some distance from the room and was also unclean with limited water pressure from the shower. On departure I met, the apparently long-standing head housekeeper, she was under the disillusion impression that she was running a five-star establishment and could see nothing amiss with the hotel, how pathetic.

The best thing about the Station Hotel is that is adjacent to Worksop Railway Station there is not much more to write home about this run down and unclean ‘hotel’ which though relatively low cost does not provide any value for money, comfort, reason to stay again or recommend. You check in at the bar however the staff cares nothing more than taking your money and ID, did not help with luggage or directions to the room, no information about the hotel amenities. They just did not care about me the customer. The double room was very compact, was extremely dirty, especially the stained carpet, and the bed was very uncomfortable given that the mattress was old and worn out. This needs to be addressed as guests won’t realise the only area open to them is their room until the pub opens!

The accommodation was perfect, really spacious and clean. Great parking. Modern and fresh decor. Close to Clumber Park, which was the reason we stopped there. The only negative thing was that the shower was luke warm, I mentioned this to a neighboring visitor who said hers was the same. I was only there for 2 nights so coped but it wasn't pleasant as I felt cold in the shower. It has been capped at that temp so needs upping a bit to make a more pleasurable experience for guests. Had I have been there longer I would have made an effort to tell staff at the time.

The hotel was easy to find when arriving late at night, just a short walk from the station. Staff were friendly. It was just what I needed for an overnight stay and great value for money. Although I booked a single room with shared bathroom, it had a sink which I wasn't expecting. The rooms are basic but clean which is exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend for anyone wanting a cheap place to stay for a night, close to the station.

My room was adequate size for a double bed but cramped due to also having a single bed. This left no space for a comfortable seat. There was only just enough room for my greyhound to lie between the 2 beds. The shower was poor, with a pulsing action, and never really got hot. Communal areas, including the bar, were welcoming and dog friendly. Food was reasonable but ales were disappointing. The stairs were hazardous due to a door opening on to them. This had a strong self-closing action and was very difficult to negotiate with luggage. It was particularly challenging to get through safely with my dog. That would dissuade me from staying there again.

Comfortable bed and tea/coffee, access to warm shower. Nice pint of Guinness in the bar! Sadly I got there too late for an evening meal, and was up too early for breakfast. Just a brief stopover for a business trip.

We booked our room while on the road so with about half hours notice of arrival. When we got there the barman was very helpful and informed us that our room actually had a shared bathroom which hotels.com did not have featured in the room description. When my partner said she was uncomfortable with that the barman explained that we could have a family en suit room for £10 extra. With little choice we took it. The bed we both found to be uncomfortable and we only had a hand towel in the bathroom. I went to shower anyway and the water only trickled out and did not go hot so I had to do with a wash. We then went downstairs to eat. My partner had a home made pie which was lovely and my mixed grill was over priced for what you received. The half a chicken must have been about a ¼ of one. The hospitality was top and so was the locals though. The next morning when we left we bumped into the cleaner who said her and the owner had been off for a few days and apologised for no towels and explained it does fall apart when both are off at the same time. I won't return again

The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of sockets next to the bed, it was warm with the curtains closed but there was a draught from the window area not sure if it was the vent under the window. There’s a cupboard next to the room door which contains a water pump that woke us when someone else in the hotel was having a shower and when we wanted a shower later there was no hot water. Furniture needs repairs and wallpaper peeling off. This was supposed to be the Deluxe double en-suite. Parking was good and staff friendly enough, check in and out very easy. Most of the rooms are made up to a very high standard. During 3 stays over this past winter, every single room has been freezing cold. Radiators on and windows closed but it detracts from being able to unwind and relax when you are shivering. Staff are lovely. Checkout time early compared to local alternatives. Sometimes comes in at the best price. I would recommend
