Wish the food/bottle service had the option of opening earlier than 8am and closing after 8pm, but there were glasses in the room and the ability to purchase earlier in the day to sit in the garden and drink later in the day. Kids slept well on the pull-out sofa bed and the garden was close enough to the room that our audio monitor covered them, while we had some parent relaxation time. Easy access to the main drag and good deer watching at all hours.

This was our first trip with our bulldog. The staff was so sweet with her! Our room was very comfortable and they had treats for our dog too. Everything was clean and the staff was always making sure everything was to our liking. Lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance too. Quiet area.

Sweet historic vibes. Outstanding walkable location. Great outdoor space out back. Nice staff. Comfy bed. If you’re not used to noise, the property can be a bit noisy. And though we appreciate ‘historic’, the rooms lean more towards deeply outdated than ‘vintage’. We would go again for the live music and a few drinks. But probably would choose to stay somewhere a bit more off the beaten path.

I appreciated the commitment to stay with the period of the hotel, but the wardrobe was useless in hanging clothes and no drawers.
