This was such a fun property! Great location walking distance to both the beach and the surrounding restaurants without being too loud. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. Can’t speak to the gym or wellness room because we didn’t have time to use those. Loved that it was dog friendly because I loved seeing pups at the fire in the morning. The coffee shop had decent coffee but the breakfasts were surprisingly good. A little speedy but the avocado bagel was delicious. Make sure you make it back in time for s’mores from 7-9. A nice way to end the night and a fun third space to share with your other hotel guests. You may even see some cute little critters running around. Will be back for sure.

The room was very basic. Our room was missing a do not disturb sign. As VIP access hotel, it stated that we got two drinks per day free with a little martini glass next to it. I assumed an alcoholic beverage based on that. When we arrived, they told us no alcohol so we could use it toward an espresso drink or bottled drink like soda. We were able to check in a little early. For the price of the hotel, I felt it was too basic. I would probably choose another hotel/motel in the area next time.

Overall decent stay, though there is room for improvement. Pros: Room was clean, AC worked well, bed was comfortable. Lobby coffee was tasty, as were complimentary s’mores. Location is excellent. Pool and hot tub were nice (jets are so-so). Cons: Photos show a small dining type table and chairs, but these were not present in the room. This corner only had a weird, sad lamp in it. The nightstands were plain metal without any shelves (as shown in some photos). There was a small amount of space to set things on either side of the TV, as well as shelving and one free cabinet below it (the other had the refrigerator). The cabinet door opened one direction, and the refrigerator door opened the opposite direction, which was annoying. There is nowhere to set or hang anything in the shower whatsoever - you have to set it on the floor. When I first arrived my TV remote would turn the TV on and off and control volume, but nothing else. They sent someone to fix it, and he did appear to do so, with some effort - I was able to change channels, etc…but then later when I tried to turn the TV off, I could not. I attempted to google workarounds/ways to program the remote myself/control it with my phone…but the hotel blocks all of them, apparently. There are no recycling bins in the rooms, but there are in the parking lot.
