Comfort Suites Manheim - Lancaster

I loved that they were able to accommodate my request for adjoining rooms. Loved that the room was spacious, with a cozy couch included and for a great price. Only issues we had were that the elevator was broken for over a week by the time we arrived and wasn't expected to be fixed for another 4 days. We were on the 3rd floor. Main issue is more of a location one. Its located right next to a huge farm apparently, and once you step outside, the smell assaults you in the most terrible way. The rooms were clean and we got enough towels and pillows for all.

The pool being closed is as a real bummer!!

Hotel was clean and room was spacious. Bed was comfortable and it was fine for sleeping. Breakfast selection was just ok - some bagels and cream cheese or peanut butter would improve it immensely. Exercise room was depressing. Location is quite isolated unless you’re there for Spooky Nook sports.

Arrived late after a long drive. The elevator was broken and was never fixed the entire stay. We arrived in the room. I booked specifically a room with 2 queen beds and they gave us a king with a pull out which we didn’t want. When i asked for a switch they said they gave my room away. Very disappointing. The room smelled musty as well.

Hotel staff was not friendly at check in barley looking up and just stating “name”. The breakfast was awful the food was undercooked, my son bit into a raw muffin and had mouth full of dough. The sausage was burnt. When returning to our room the elevator dropped several floors and dirt debris fell down on us. When pushing the emergency button front desk informed the they had posted the elevator doors which they did not. For the remainder of weekend the elevator was broken and the staff propped chair between the elevator doors with a sign. The sheets were clean but stained. Upon check out I voiced my concerns with management and they informed me that they would call the following day which they did not.

Hotel was nice. My only complaint is the pool was not able to be used either day. We were here for a tournament and were excited for the pool to occupy my younger child. Room was quiet and we were able to sleep well.

Second day there was only bread among the other foods, no English Muffins or types of bagels. One day they were out of forks which was not good for people eating pancakes, creamed meat, and other items.

The room was not cleaned properly, leaving a pillow in the pullout sofa. Carpet didn’t seem to be properly vacuumed. There was a lot of commotion from other guests and police presence in the lobby while trying to enjoy a bedtime cup of tea. The continental breakfast was lacking creativity especially with presentation. The kitchen staff had trouble keeping the food available and hot.

One of the nicest over night hotels that we have stayed in. The rooms were clean and large. The bathrooms were the same and well stocked. The hotel smelled good and felt clean.

The hotel is extremely convenient to Spooky Nook Sports which is technically within walking distance. Room was clean but the hotel overall needs some updating. You can tell it is receives high traffic, as expected for sports tournaments, furniture and facilities are beginning to look run down. Breakfast was terrible! Choices were poor, and the waffles were probably the only decent offering. There were also ants on the counters in the buffet area! There was also not much lobby/buffet area seating considering the high volume of people who stay here. There should also be more than 2 washers and 2 dryers available since the majority of guests are traveling for sports tournaments and will likely need to wash uniforms during their stay.

We left immediately. Blood in the top sheet, blood on the mattress, and yellow (potentially mold) caked in the mattress folds. Disgusting. Need a full refund. This room was awful.

Overall fine for a one night stay. Only issues- we had an outside light that was shinning against the building and so right into our room…and the curtains aren’t made to close at all. So we have to hang a blanket over the window so our kids would sleep. The room was also colder that we’d have liked though thermo was set to 72 our clothes were damp the next morning. Really odd.

No hot water for shower. Bed was lopsided and huge dip in it- very uncomfortable.

This property is located conveniently next to the highway and it’s actually really quiet. We like that the room is very large and everything is clean and comfortable!

The room and property were clean which was welcomed after all day driving. The only issue we had was the A/C in the room not working. I did call the front desk and they were sending someone up but the A/C kicked in and i called to cancel the help. The A/C quit working but I didn't call back so that was on me for not having them come!

Nick at the front desk was so nice checking us in. He always had good conversation and made us feel comfortable. Rooms were nice The only "negatives" would be that the sofa bed was not comfortable at all, and we knew breakfast was over at 9am, we were sitting there eating & the kitchen worker just shut the door, didn't ask if anyone wanted to grab anything last min before he shut the door, which I thought was pretty rude. Other than that, stay was good

The rooms are so spacious. The prices are very good. The pool is just ok. The property is deceiving from the outside. Its generic outside but inside is gorgeous. Beautiful spacious and quiet lobby and incredible staff.

Nick (front desk) is a gem! I’ve never experienced such exceptional customer service- Nick was incredibly helpful and courteous, professional and an overall pleasure to speak with. He is an asset to this property, we will definitely come back to stay because of him!

There were several occupants playing on the doors and running loudly in the hallway. I call the front desk staff to complain and he voiced it was nothing else he could do due to having several other complaints. I asked for a refund and they stated they could not due to me booking online. Poor customer service.

This hotel had one of the most helpful and friendliest front desk staff in any hotel I ever stayed... and I traveled all over the world for work for decades. They were so positive that they truly were an asset to the business. The hotel was also incredibly clean. With teams of basketball players everywhere, accomplishing that level of cleanliness could only happen with a dedicated team where wellness is a priority. We will never forget this experience or was that far above the norm.

The staff were wonderful. Greeted us with a smile when we came in and was always kind and asking if we needed anything during our stay. Most pleasant staff I’ve had at a hotel.

Overall it wasn’t too bad, except for the fact that the property pictures show a bbq picnic area with grills, which we wanted to take advantage off, since we were going to stay there several days, and wanted to make our own food a few times. We took with us food to grill, and then we couldn’t find the grill anywhere, we ask the attendant on the front desk (Nick), and he was clueless, not only that, he proceeded to ask us, what was outside because he had never been there!!!, 😲really!!!, how do they trained people?, they don’t show them their own property and amenities?, why would you ask us what’s out there?, if you don’t know, please go outside and look, so you can know what your own work offers…😩😖truly disappointing, we waited money on steaks, that by the end of our trip were bad( refrigerators do not have a freezer. And we brought a bunch of unnecessary stuff to cook on the grill thinking it was there… if you don’t have grills, please take down the pictures that show them. Also, we asked in the front desk if someone could go and give us a few more towels and clean up a bit the bathroom ( since we were staying several nights), no one ever came, nor left more towels… please do a better job training people so they know all the things your hotel offers or not.🙁🙁😩 we actually afterwards asked a girl in the cleaning crew about the grills, she came back with an answer. We are still waiting for Nick to answer our question about the grills. Too about about the service.

I was visiting Lancaster with my family and stayed overnight at this hotel. On the plus side, the property looked and felt relatively new, staff was courteous, room was spacious (we had 5 adults and a child). On the downside, (personally) we were not impressed by the location and breakfast. The location was a standalone property with literally nothing around it (on the plus side it was quiet). The breakfast was ok with very limited options and quality was not particularly remarkable. I checked out the pool and gym area and they seemed nice and clean as well. Overall, I would give it a 7.5 out of 10.

We stayed here for a weekend long basketball tournament at Spooky Nook. It’s clean, quiet, and right next door to the facility. Will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were nice and well equiped. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to Spooky Nook -less than a mile away.

Great place to stay due to being so close to the Spooky Nook Sports Complex.

The hotel was a little far from all of the attractions in Lancaster (roughly 20 minutes). We didn’t mind the drive, and what made up for that was the excellent staff at the hotel. From the second we got to the hotel everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean, and quiet. We will be back again!

The check in staff was personable and pleasant. The room was slightly dated but very comfortable. The elevator was out of order but walking up to the 3rd floor was fine. Besides the smell of manure that slapped you in the face when you got out of your car in the parking lot, the stay was most relaxing.

Everything was lovely. Food and attractions are pretty close to the facility. There is no dining on site but they do have drinks, snacks and microwavable meals that can be purchased. They do serve a very nice breakfast daily, including eggs, waffles and cereal / oatmeal. All of the staff were friendly and aimed to please.

Overall, the stay was good and the property is kept well. Our only complaint is the breakfast time is too short for a weekend, and they have a bad setup. If you’re expecting a weekend stay, know the breakfast area will be crowded.

I chose this location because it was in between the events I had going on. It was easy to get to, lots of parking. I liked that the room had a separate seating area which gave the room a bigger feel. My only complaints are the screaming children we heard all night until 2:30am. I couldn’t tell if they were next door or above us. That kept waking us up so not a great night sleep. The other disappointment was breakfast, the cereal wasn’t refilled, yogurts were expired, things were just not available. It might be different another time when the hotel isn’t so busy.

The breakfast is should not allowed for human consumption. This is not a breakfast. It’s the worst I have eaten. They need to provide better breakfast or don’t serve at all.
