Overall the hotel is nice and clean, however I was really disappointed to learn that the hotel no longer offers breakfast - not even coffee in the morning. The staff tells you just walk to Starbucks. I most likely will not return for that reason.

This property is conveniently located to all of the places I was there for. It does not have parking. It does not have valet. There’s a parking structure a couple of blocks away. Now for the room… The toilet does not flush properly. The toilet had low pressure. The water would go down but not remove the waste. The front desk offered a plunger, but the toilet was not stopped up. Pressure issue. It would be a nice touch if they offered coffee in the lobby.

There was no validated parking. For this upscale hotel, there should have been free parking. And no breakfast was served. Even the Sheraton hotel serves breakfast buffet, a 5 star hotel. And the vending machines only take cash. Simply, overpriced at 200 a night. Room was small and not many amenities. I would not stay here again for that price.

This is a very nice little hotel. Not a lot of extras, but spotless! There is no food/breakfast at this hotel, but there is a Starbucks 2 doors down. Parking is 1/10 of a mile away @ the Chinatown/Cermak EL station lot. ($16 for overnight). It's right on the edge of Chinatown, so lots of restaurants nearby. The staff members were all very nice!

The hotel was very nice. The room was very clean. the staff was very friendly. However, the exercise facility needs a major upgrade. There is a gross lack of quality equipment. In short, the gym needs a full assessment and a total makeover. Other than the gym, the Jaslin Hotel is a great place to stay.

We stayed in a King bed room. Basic, small(ish) room with a dorm fridge and coffee maker. Microwave in the common dining room. Comfortable, clean, and fine for 2 people. Shower pressure on top floor is a bit weak but serviceable. Pillows are small but they provide plenty of them. No onsite parking, so plan to walk from a lot with paid parking. It's in Chinatown and all restaurants within a 15 min walk eflect that, so plan accordingly. Privacy measures are good.

No Business Center, or even a computer and printer, and what is WORSE, they charge 15 cents a page to print. How petty!!! Wont be staying here again. The gals at the desk are truly clueless in providing real customer service and hospitality.

Finding parking was a complete nightmare and that alone would cause us to never book a stay here again. The rooms are small, shower wasn’t entirely clean and AC wouldn’t go below 72. Average hotel for cost. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Room could have been cleaner. Staff should take more time to ensure all items are removed from previous visitors. Some visitors lay traps and were found one in the safe. Take more time when vacuuming. Floor was dirty.

Second time staying at Jaslin and we love it. Perfect location for staying in and around Chinatown. Conveniently located near the red line, which will take you everywhere else you want to go in Chicago. I wish they had more updated TVs and maybe a microwave, but that’s it!

The hotel was average- I expected more for a 3 star hotel. Even though we were in Chinatown it felt like your average American hotel. They could have done so much more to embrace the feel of Chinatown. The staff was nice- just don’t call and ask for directions on how to get there using the L from midway. The rooms were clean but small, and towels were very rough feeling. Overall it was a nice experience in an average hotel.

I stay at the Jaslin Hotel often. The parking is convenient, in Chinatown, which makes the dining options great. The hotel is clean comfortable and reasonably priced. I’ve taken the train to Wrigley Field, which is also a plus. No complaints!!

Easy check in and check out. Clean rooms and great location. Bus is a one minute walk and the subway is less than 5 minutes away. The only downside is no parking on-site. We parked in a garage 15 minutes down the road by Wintrust arena. The only negative was we came home at 3:30 in the afternoon and our room was being cleaned. We were asked to come.back in 15 minutes. It seems like that should have been done much earlier in the day. We will definitely stay here agin on our next trip to Chicago.

Just spent one night here, but it was a pleasant experience. Upon checking in we received our key card, but once we entered the room it was a mess and obviously previously occupied. I went back down to let them know, and they immediately apologized and gave us a new room that was clean. The beds were fresh and comfy, bathroom was pretty clean as well. Staff was incredibly sweet to us, even after coming back to our room past midnight from our night out, everyone was super cool. Definitely recommend. :)

Amazing property if you want something a little cheaper but still only 15min away from downtown. Nice and renovated hotel without any issues. Patricia at the front desk was very helpful and all staff overall was great. I will be coming back to Jaslin next year for my marathon weekend!

The hotel room was overall clean. They have luggage storage which is great since we arrived early in Chicago. It is walkable to the red line. There a lot of good restaurants and shopping since it is in Chinatown. Some of the staff members were welcoming while others were not. The room was clean when arrived. There is not a lot of toiletries provided so prepare to bring your own.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, and the price. I would not come back. The front desk is inexperienced, as I believe they are college students. Rarely know any information. The room smell dirty, with their old carpets. Anything you ask is charged extra. Even if they have a room available, empty they won’t let you in unless you pay the fee if is before 2pm, not even 15m earlier.

Front desk staff when we checked in was rude. The night auditor was great. Then we asked for a late check out I went to get the car came back and my room key was not working. I was pissed because I had bag still in my room. It was only 11:46 when I got back.

If you're going to be in the Chinatown area and don't expect a Four Seasons experience this place is fine. It was clean, it was comfortable but it was nothing fancy. You can walk to McCormick Place, but for most anything else, other than Chinatown, you'll probably need another mode of transportation besides legs.

Overall the hotel is nice and clean, however I was really disappointed to learn that the hotel no longer offers breakfast - not even coffee in the morning. The staff tells you just walk to Starbucks. I most likely will not return for that reason.

This property is conveniently located to all of the places I was there for. It does not have parking. It does not have valet. There’s a parking structure a couple of blocks away. Now for the room… The toilet does not flush properly. The toilet had low pressure. The water would go down but not remove the waste. The front desk offered a plunger, but the toilet was not stopped up. Pressure issue. It would be a nice touch if they offered coffee in the lobby.

This is a nice clean business hotel in the heart of Chinatown. No parking lot but street parking isn’t too bad. No food available, no amenities (pool, gym, room service,) but the staff is very helpful and diligent. The price was reasonable, the room was comfortable and there is free wi-fi.

This is a very nice little hotel. Not a lot of extras, but spotless! There is no food/breakfast at this hotel, but there is a Starbucks 2 doors down. Parking is 1/10 of a mile away @ the Chinatown/Cermak EL station lot. ($16 for overnight). It's right on the edge of Chinatown, so lots of restaurants nearby. The staff members were all very nice!

Great stay that met our needs. No bells and whistles but clean and friendly staff. We were in town for a basketball tournament and it was an easy 15-20min walk away from hotel. Chinatown across the street made eating options easy, walgreens also across the street for other needs. Overall a good choice if you don't need a poil, hot tub, breakfast options, gym. Starbucks is next door too.

We stayed in a King bed room. Basic, small(ish) room with a dorm fridge and coffee maker. Microwave in the common dining room. Comfortable, clean, and fine for 2 people. Shower pressure on top floor is a bit weak but serviceable. Pillows are small but they provide plenty of them. No onsite parking, so plan to walk from a lot with paid parking. It's in Chinatown and all restaurants within a 15 min walk eflect that, so plan accordingly. Privacy measures are good.

This is my second stay at the Jaslin and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff is kind and professional, the rooms have everything we need and are well kept, the view is incredible, and the location is awesome! You can easily walk to anywhere in Chinatown. My friend and I even walked to Soldier Field from this hotel (I believe it was about 1.5 miles). You’re a 10-15 minute ride from places like the Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and Union Station. If you’re coming in from O’Hare, take the blue line to downtown before getting a ride, it’ll save you a lot of time. I will definitely stay here again!
