Foot of the Mountain Motel

Office was not open when checking in at 4:30pm. Ice machine not working. Cozy King room is COZY for sure. Room heater is basically a vintage space heater. Several pages in room "manual" included incorrect and dated information. The motel's name is accurate. Way too expensive for value. Will not stay here again.

Tiffany was very responsive to my questions and needs. I got more than I bargained for with the price of my stay. Will definitely consider FOTMM in the future.

Gave me a kettle and some tea when I arrived, bleary and windblown after a long day up the mountain. So hospitable! The breakfast was like I would make for myself at home. The room was classic old cabin, and the bathroom, up 2 wee steps, was minimally but functionally equiped, and, like the room, had walls adorned with robust panelling.
