The house was old and beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was served at any one of 5 tables. And it was a different creation every morning. And you could choose to eat anytime from 8am to 10am. The rooms are updated with whirlpool tubs and showers. A comfortable wrap around porch with a selection of seating options. The backyard was a garden heaven, seating, an old fashioned gazebo,a small pond with gold fish, and a firepit if you wanted to sit by a fire. And the landscaping is beautiful. A very short walk takes you to the main thoroughfare with shops and restaurants aplenty. It was everything we needed for a perfect anniversary weekend.

cute comfy victorian, however it snowed and was icy so was the driveway and sidewalk areas. I fell, caught myself but no de-icing was done. They may not believe in it but dangerous situation.

Awesome best breakfast ever ! It’s nice to have breakfast brought right to your table instead of a buffet. Kim was especially attentive to all the guests.The owner even started a fire for all to enjoy each evening Owners showed us our room and how to work the tv and the AC . Grounds are beautiful and inviting. This is our second visit and we’re definitely planning on coming back again!

Plenty-o-parking. 2 block walk to quaint downtown including Door County Museum, cafes, book stores, brew pubs. Close to shipyards and panoramic view of Green Bay. Would be an excellent garden venue for a wedding with rooms for family and friends.

Was a nice experience but I didn't remember booking the room we received. Bed was hard, not a lot of space in the bathroom. Nice grounds but grass needed mowing. Breakfast was nice but could have been bigger. Overall an okay experience.

The White Lace Inn actually consists of four homes all within walking distance. We stayed in the Hadley House. Our suite was large and nicely appointed with period furniture and a four poster bed with a lace canopy. The room was very quiet. There is a beautiful garden with a gazebo in the backyard. Breakfast with stuffed French toast, yogurt, and sunrise juice was very good. Marsha was especially friendly and provided excellent service.

This is now our second visit to the White Lace Inn and we will surely visit again. Different homes on the same property, each lovingly restored and updated with Victorian charm and modern convenience. The breakfast served each morning in the main house is not your ordinary fare - it is part of the special experience.

Clean, well appointed rooms. Nice staff. Nice gardens. Have own bathroom. Be aware, there are four houses, when you reserve just lists room and you think its in the main house. We could not just go down and hang out in living room area, or for breakfast, had to go out and over to main house. Should tell what is for breakfast in advance so can decide if you want, as not basic meat and potatoes. No pet policy, but room below us had barking dog for two nights. Small thing, but books by old piano with little sign that said take a seat and play. Played 3 chords and was terrible, hasnt been tumed in decades

Quiet and very comfortable. The outdoor area to sit by the koi pond or fire was amazing I travel a lot for work and this is the best nights sleep I’ve had away from home. I generally stay in traditional hotels but this experience has me looking for B&Bs instead

We had a very nice stay at the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. The facility has been very nicely renovated but reflects the way it was probably 100 years ago in many respects. They have more buildings than just the house seen in the picture. We were in the Garden House that dates from 1880. That, too, was nicely renovated, but with modern touches such as indoor plumbing, heat, air conditioning, and electricity. :) If staying in the main house is important to you, then ask them what rooms are where. We were very happy with the Garden House. The breakfast was very nice, though a little light for our liking. The room was very clean and well cared for.

Coffee mugs at breakfast filthy. My wife found a mouse turd floating in her coffee. The next day there was a syrup like deposit in the bottom of my coffee cup. Was told “it happens,”. No apologies at all.

White Lace Inn is a wonderful place to stay. All rooms are spotless, very comfortable and welcoming with wood burning fireplaces. The beds are super comfy. The breakfast is delicious and homemade with love and local ingredients. This place will not disappoint.

It was a beautiful property. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and they were able to accommodate my celiac with a gluten free breakfast. We loved it and will most likely return.

The rooms are very cozy; filled with antique furniture, a fireplace, nice fixtures and original hardwood floors. The main Victorian House is beautiful inside and out; and the gourmet breakfast is always delicious.

Loved our stay!! Breakfast each morning was delicious, even offered secondary options for picky eaters ;) gardens were beautiful and off street parking was good. Rooms are very small, but if you don’t spend much time in them then it’s no big deal! Staff were super nice and recommended eating options in the area. Bed are VERY tall, made it hard to get in/out even in my thirties… but they do have a little step stool in the halls to use if needed. We will be back for sure.

I love the uniqueness of each room. My favorite 3 parts of my room (garden house) 9 were the fireplace, reading nook and the beautiful bench at the end of the bed.

This is an old Victorian home complete with many original fixtures, mouldings etc. A beautiful place to stay with an easy walk into S. Bay downtown. The only gripes we had were the AC unit in the room is nearly as old as the house and barely works. So we opened the windows for fresh air, but as the Inn is on a main road (5th st.) the occasional hot rod owner found it necessary to verify his cherry bomb "mufflers" worked as advertised at around 3am. Nothing the staff can do but if you are offered room #1 ask for one off the road. The other observation offered up only as a helpful tip is that owner Dennis smile at least once per day. It seemed as though we were causing him undue sorrow by checking in and asking questions - maybe he was just having a so-so week... Anyway - food was good, bed comfy, price right and we would stay again.

This place is amazing with a wonderful staff/owners, and the breakfast is superb, recommend this as your first choice when coming to Sturgeon Bay, will definitely be coming back in the summer.

Kim was especially attentive to all the guests.The owner even started a fire for all to enjoy each evening Owners showed us our room and how to work the tv and the AC . Grounds are beautiful and inviting. This is our second visit and we’re definitely planning on coming back again!

The White Lace Inn was the perfect place for us to stay on our vacation to Door County. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The garden was a beautiful and peaceful place to relax. The inn was within walking distance of several lovely restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Way too many blankets, quilts and comforters. Suffocating in July. No place to store the stuff to get it out of your way. Door was almost impossible to lock and unlock. The bathroom was very nice. The woman inn keeper was charming…the man, not so much.

It was a beautiful property. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and they were able to accommodate my celiac with a gluten free breakfast. We loved it and will most likely return.

The house was old and beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was served at any one of 5 tables. And it was a different creation every morning. And you could choose to eat anytime from 8am to 10am. The rooms are updated with whirlpool tubs and showers. A comfortable wrap around porch with a selection of seating options. The backyard was a garden heaven, seating, an old fashioned gazebo,a small pond with gold fish, and a firepit if you wanted to sit by a fire. And the landscaping is beautiful. A very short walk takes you to the main thoroughfare with shops and restaurants aplenty. It was everything we needed for a perfect anniversary weekend.

Plenty-o-parking. 2 block walk to quaint downtown including Door County Museum, cafes, book stores, brew pubs. Close to shipyards and panoramic view of Green Bay. Would be an excellent garden venue for a wedding with rooms for family and friends.

The White Lace Inn is a very traditional B&B. I mean that in a very positive way. The Inn is fantastic inside and out. The architecture is classic Victorian. The inside woodwork is beautiful. The coziness of the breakfast areas are just what we were looking for. We stayed two nights and both breakfasts were original and very satisfying. The location is very convenient for exploring Sturgeon Bay and the Door County peninsula. The local dining options were excellent. One night we tried a local bar/restaurant with the Packers playing on TV. It was a great vibe. The next night we picked a nearby bistro with live music and great small plates. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a quaint, well run, and affordable escape. Located at the foot of Door County, it has easy access to all of the good things that are located there. The included breakfast was fresh, well made and presented and perfect each morning of our stay. Dennis, the Inn Keeper, was affable and made several adjustments to our reservation, in spite of the fact that it was made through Expedia. We had a wonderful three night escape during the off-season in Sturgeon Bay!

This is an old Victorian home complete with many original fixtures, mouldings etc. A beautiful place to stay with an easy walk into S. Bay downtown. The only gripes we had were the AC unit in the room is nearly as old as the house and barely works. So we opened the windows for fresh air, but as the Inn is on a main road (5th st.) the occasional hot rod owner found it necessary to verify his cherry bomb "mufflers" worked as advertised at around 3am. Nothing the staff can do but if you are offered room #1 ask for one off the road. The other observation offered up only as a helpful tip is that owner Dennis smile at least once per day. It seemed as though we were causing him undue sorrow by checking in and asking questions - maybe he was just having a so-so week... Anyway - food was good, bed comfy, price right and we would stay again.

Very tasty, homestyle breakfast and friendly, nice staff. Love the history of the place to include antique- like decor. Was a nice experience but I didn't remember booking the room we received. Bed was hard, not a lot of space in the bathroom. Nice grounds but grass needed mowing. Breakfast was nice but could have been bigger. Overall an okay experience.

White Lace Inn is a wonderful place to stay. All rooms are spotless, very comfortable and welcoming with wood burning fireplaces. The beds are super comfy. The breakfast is delicious and homemade with love and local ingredients. This place will not disappoint.

Staff was great. Gave us some great tips on the area. Only downside was that we had the same breakfast meal on Saturday and Monday. Everything was really good but it would have been good to try another dish

The room was lovely. The staff was very nice, but the breakfast was disappointing. There are no options offered - you get what they serve you and that is it. I was there 3 nights and two of the breakfasts were stuffed french toast, by which they mean a sungle piece of undercooked french toast cut in half containing pie filling and cream cheese....a very gooey way to start the day. The third breakfast was a baked egg and cheese something served with cottage cheese and chives on the side - a very peculiar kind of breakfast.

Know that when you book there are several houses in this property and you may be staying on the second floor. I stayed in Washburn House it was nice. The bed is super high and luckily I saw a step stool in the hallway because I was ready to buy one. The breakfast is served in the main house and was delicious. It was a lovely walk through the gardens. The first day it was packed and two other people and myself sat on the porch to eat. I was in one of the rooms with a jacuzzi tub which was nice in this sweltering heat. The shower is small and they could make it 1000 times better if they updated the shower head. There’s also no place to put the washcloth. The staff was all friendly and willing to give itinerary ideas.

The inn was beautiful. There is a main house and then smaller houses with guest rooms. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows to choose from. The garden was gorgeous and peaceful, a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing in Door County.

Friendly owners & guests! Welcome cookies and an amazing breakfast! Loved the room decor, cherry theme. Owner offered open windows or air conditioning and we are so glad we chose open windows! Lovely breeze & pretty gardens that smelled fantastic! Very comfortable bed & big jetted tub. We lived staying there and already want to plan a return trip!
