Glory Inn and its proprietors are charming and welcoming. Stayed with a friend for an overnight concert trip and not only is it a stones throw from everything you could want in Moncton (next to the Aberdeen Cultural Centre and a short walk from Capitol Theatre, Tide & Boar), it had a full kitchen and comfortable, clean rooms with lovely light and a garden to eat breakfast in! The check in process was easy and I appreciated the personal touches by the proprietors, who made my friend and I feel at home. Would stay again, and would recommend to any friend who is planning a visit to Moncton!

The room, bathroom, and kitchen were very clean. It was also very nice to have a kitchen available and a place to store food. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us a tour of the living space to make sure we were comfortable.

I picked this for the affordability. For the price, I can’t complain too much. The location is not bad. Parking, is terrible. Confusing. Access to shower, oven, fridge. Bedroom was pretty clean. Tv is maybe 20 inches if that, A/C is quite outdated and loud. Bathroom could use a scrub in spots, but it still looks clean for the most part. Room was somewhat clean, but there were areas that seemed neglected. The kitchen area needs a good deep clean. Side of fridge is dirty, floor around that area too. Oven/stove is usable, not the cleanest. No baking sheet, or any ovenware. This property could be beautiful with a little hard work. It’s nice as is, just seems a bit overgrown, could use some landscaping done. Communication with the owners was a bit shaky, English is not their first language. Very friendly and accommodating people, though.

The place was very dirty. I couldn’t use the toilet because it had urine and dust on it like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The bathtub also had old grease and grime stuck to it. The only decent thing about the place was the lady who checked me in.

I was looking for an affordable overnight stay near the Avenir Center for a concert. This was it! I walked downtown to eat and saw my show and walked back. My room was clean. The house is a renovated Victorian, with new clean modern private bath. Other people were staying in the house, but did not hear them until morning. The hosts were friendly and showed people to their rooms and explained things. Ie lights, locks and kitchen. Pam M. Nova Scotia

3 houses make up the Inn. They are not luxurious by any means, but the value is very good. Owners are very friendly and courteous. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet while I was there. Shared Bathroom, but there was no else in the unit so I had it all to myself

Very kind host, the only comment I would give is that i called them to ask if the rooms had private toilets, she told me yes but its not. Luckily we were the only customers on the second floor so we had the bathroom for ourselves. The room was very clean, only the toilet bowl could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was fine for just one night, the room was quite big. The floors are very old floors that almost crack just while breathing. I recommend if you are not too picky.

We will literally never stay anywhere other than here when we’re in Moncton ever again. The best customer service I have ever had, the couple who own the property are the sweetest, loveliest couple I’ve ever met. Be patient - if you’re rushed for time, plan to be there to check in early, but I promise you the attention and care you’re paid will be worth it. Sweet little breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit, coffee/tea, water and mini donuts were available for $12 added charge for 2 people. Freshly homemade by the owners in a dining room at your planned time for just you and your party. The bed was very comfortable - we stayed in the off house at 129 Walter, section A Room 1. Great couch, tv, night stands, and dresser - o key what you need. It said private bathroom included, but it was a single person washroom shared between another room, it appeared. It was right next to our room and we didn’t see another person while we were there anyway. Definitely staying again, and the best bang for your buck I’ve seen at that price! Not for anyone who is picky or fussy over small details. You know what to expect from the price, but happy with our whole experience! Thank you!

My husband arrived in the morning, before check in, and asked to leave his bags. We are not travelling by car and he wanted to explore Moncton. The owner offered to give him the key to the room. He said that wasn’t necessary but she insisted. She gave him the key for a room with a bathroom in the hallway. I had booked a room with private bath. When he called me, I insisted he get a room with private bath. The owner argued that that would cost more—but that was the price of the room I had booked. She finally gave it to him “as a special favour”. The next morning we vacated the room and asked if we could leave our bags until our bus in the afternoon. We would have put them in the communal kitchen—at our own risk. The owner refused. She said we were difficult guests since my husband had checked in early and also wanted a special room. That is not what happened. I am cancelling the reservation I made to stay here at a later date.

We will literally never stay anywhere other than here when we’re in Moncton ever again. The best customer service I have ever had, the couple who own the property are the sweetest, loveliest couple I’ve ever met. Be patient - if you’re rushed for time, plan to be there to check in early, but I promise you the attention and care you’re paid will be worth it. Sweet little breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit, coffee/tea, water and mini donuts were available for $12 added charge for 2 people. Freshly homemade by the owners in a dining room at your planned time for just you and your party. The bed was very comfortable - we stayed in the off house at 129 Walter, section A Room 1. Great couch, tv, night stands, and dresser - o key what you need. It said private bathroom included, but it was a single person washroom shared between another room, it appeared. It was right next to our room and we didn’t see another person while we were there anyway. Definitely staying again, and the best bang for your buck I’ve seen at that price! My stay was fantastic! The room was in a beautiful old character home about 5 minute walk from downtown. Gloria and her husband were the absolute sweetest looking after my every need and even giving me fresh plums from the tree in their yard. If I’m ever back in Moncton I will definitely stay here. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They tried their best. They had a great garden at the back contains a lot of fruit trees, very refreshing to sit there and have a meal. However property is very old and not maintained very well. There was a funny smell all over the building, I had to open the window all night long. Kitchen and all the equipments inside was very old and seems not cleaned properly.I don’t think adding water to soaps and orange juices is a good way to do budget management, I think its is fooling the customers. Yes, it is budget friendly but I believe budget friendly travelers deserves to treat valuable as well.

A bit of a shetchy area, a 20min walk from downtown. Reminded me of off-campus student housing, but the room and bathroom were clean. Be aware the "office" is in the proprietor couple's home, which is also where they personally prepare breakfast for guests. The proprietors are very nice, good value if you're a no-frills traveler.

The building is a little dated and shows its age, but it is in a good location for exploring Moncton. The main downside was the cleanliness, as the space could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning before our arrival. The listing also showed blackout curtains, but there were none. Old couple that run the place are very nice and accommodating despite language barrier. Negatives: some maintenance and cleanliness issues, neighborhood not great despite being central downtown. If you like a funky/offbeat kind of older house to stay, this will suit you fine, but if you like sterile/modern/anonymous hotel type places, this isn’t for you.
