Beautiful heritage property right uptown. Very clean. Great communication with staff even when we weren't paying as close attention as we should have been! They have parking or there's a parking garage across the street.

Our accommodations were lovely-so clean! My husband in awe of the craftsmanship exhibited throughout-esp the painter- a ‘true artist!’ We are elderly so the steps were a bit of a challenge-our fault for not requesting a 1st floor room. Only suggestion is to install a handrail coming inside the front door if this is possible. Overall, a terrific stay!!!!

The parking area was safe but quite tight to get in. Kitchen set up was excellent with a small dishwasher and full size refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable with a spacious room. Room was refreshed with amenities daily. Would highly recommend.

Depending what building and room you are assigned dont count on a view. Our room looked onto a brick wall and someones deck so we didnt open our blinds. Parking was very tight. Great location though.

My wife dropped me off as I was going to airportbin the morning. We both kicked ourselves for not planning for her to stay the night and drive back home in the morning. The suite was gorgeous! Super clean, great furnishings, heritage building. I dont know whatbthe area is like but it's downtown so, a mixed bag.

I almost hate to tell you so that I can always get a spot here but truly this is too special not to share it. I was really quite amazed. I'd never stay anywhere else now in St John. What a change from the normal sterile/always the same hotel room/suite. The room décor furniture and architectural details were quite amazing. a great location, incredibly comfortable and so scrupulously cleaned it appeared brand new. The check in process worked flawlessly, I needed a minor bit of help during the stay and they responded instantly and solved the small issue. I really can't think of a single thing to change. Value for $$ is outstanding.

The unit was amazing, clean and with good attention to detail. Nice old furniture. The area around was dead, looked semi-abandoned and shabby. I don't care about that too much though. Location is close to downtown and all restaurants Would recommend

Such a charming and quaint location. Booked parking ahead so no issue. Walkable to harbor and everywhere close. Beautiful comfortable and clean rooms, kitchen facilities so lovely to have. Loved our stay!! Will definitely recommend!

The property was well situated for public transit, dining options, exploring downtown and the Canada Games Aquatic Centre was right across the parking lot. I really enjoyed my stay in Saint John and the Chipman Suite played a big part in that.

Beautiful building and room, very clean and comfortable. Communication was clear and helpful, plenty of amenities and the super comfortable bed and the jet tub made the stay feel luxurious. Parking is a bit awkward, but doable. We parked in the ramp right across the street for $20CA for the night. Walkable to some great restaurants and a relaxing waterfront path. (It is on a steep hill, so wherever you walk, expect a little climb.) Fantastic stay!

Just as it says in listing. No surprises. Parking was very close and convenient to the building we stayed in. We were on the street side so a little noisy but the customer service, full kitchen, decor, size of room is exceptional. The air conditioner could be larger and it was a little noisy and probably misplaced as it is in window right beside the bed. I am 5'3" and had trouble getting up into bed as it is quite high. I can't recall because we stayed at 8 different hotels in 14 days whether this hotel had a grab handle in the shower/tub. Only 2 locations had grab handles which is a serious safety issue
