It took less than 15 minutes to walk to the Almas from the main train station. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. There was a useful safety box and a good refrigerator in our room. The price was reasonable. The swimming pool and the long chairs on the roof were much appreciated in the hot afternoon, especially before we headed towards the mayhem of the Djemaa el-Fna for the evening — a 40-minute walk away. As for food, very good and reasonably priced restaurants can be found just outside the front door of the hotel, especially on some of the little side streets close by. And don’t miss the freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice sold on the street corner next to the hotel.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the pool area is fantastic! Easy access to all the hustle of the city and there are some great local eateries just next door. Superb value for money. Will certainly return.

Room was clean and tidy and is regularly serviced. It was quite spacious with a balcony but bathroom was a bit on the small side. Staff were friendly and polite. Great location with many shops nearby and you can easily walk to many tourist attractions. Neighbourhood was quite loud especially at night time with music playing out loud. You can also hear all noise outside the room so if you’re a light sleeper you may have trouble sleeping. Breakfast was quite limited with many sweet options instead of savoury and not a lot of hot food. Pool was a decent size not too big or small. For the price this was a good hotel.

The hotel was awesome..in the middle of Gueliz..close to many many restaurants and coffee shops ..the staff was extremely friendly from the front desk , restaurants ..Yassine ( If I remember his name)the pool guy was great and very nice ..I will definitely go back to Almas ..Love it !! Nice place, amazing staff, and clean property, the only thing is when it's too hot, don't count on the pool, it's small area, and if you don't go early to get your spot, you can't sit by the pool or swim, too full

The great: spacious suite with balcony and no road noise. The good: friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, swimming pool. Fridge! The not so good: only one socket in the bedroom (two in the bathroom). No filtered water facilities-supermarket 10mn away. No ironing boards. The not good at all: avoid tour package to waterfalls. It was massively overpriced and only included transport.

They gave us free upgrade. So we got a suite with balcony view. It was lovely, felt well rested and the rooftop pool was AMAZING!!! Worth the price. Just wish I could try their buffet/restaurant but no time.

I reserved and paid for suite, was given a single bed first night of two night stay, the room was not clean and in bad shape and dusty which means was not been in use of the cleaning process very poor. Hotel Management refused to compensate for the difference in price between single bed and a suite rooms. Tried to explain my disappointment to management, it seems they didn’t care. The property as a whole in needs of improvement. The hotel is extremely over rated. I have written to Expedia and I hope will get some results.

The manager began by giving me an upgrade to a suite - very nice. I ate at two seafood restaurants that were within a half a block of the hotel. The food and service at bth was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. While walking I noticed numerous venues to get a cu of tea, coffee, a snack, read the paper, a magazine. It was interesting that a guard was posted outside the building. I took a walk around the neighbor and didn’t detect what might be considered a “reason for caution”.

It took less than 15 minutes to walk to the Almas from the main train station. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. There was a useful safety box and a good refrigerator in our room. The price was reasonable. The swimming pool and the long chairs on the roof were much appreciated in the hot afternoon, especially before we headed towards the mayhem of the Djemaa el-Fna for the evening — a 40-minute walk away. As for food, very good and reasonably priced restaurants can be found just outside the front door of the hotel, especially on some of the little side streets close by. And don’t miss the freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice sold on the street corner next to the hotel.

Room was clean and tidy and is regularly serviced. It was quite spacious with a balcony but bathroom was a bit on the small side. Staff were friendly and polite. Great location with many shops nearby and you can easily walk to many tourist attractions. Neighbourhood was quite loud especially at night time with music playing out loud. You can also hear all noise outside the room so if you’re a light sleeper you may have trouble sleeping. Breakfast was quite limited with many sweet options instead of savoury and not a lot of hot food. Pool was a decent size not too big or small. For the price this was a good hotel.

gewoon een standaard hotel , slechts aan te bevelen als je ( 1 nacht ) in het nieuwe deel van Marrakech wilt verblijven , Anders zijn de riads in de oude stad veel leuker ! Voordeel is wel dat er westerse restaurants ( alcohol ) en winkels in de buurt zijn , alsmede de stations.

The manager began by giving me an upgrade to a suite - very nice. I ate at two seafood restaurants that were within a half a block of the hotel. The food and service at bth was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. While walking I noticed numerous venues to get a cu of tea, coffee, a snack, read the paper, a magazine. It was interesting that a guard was posted outside the building. I took a walk around the neighbor and didn’t detect what might be considered a “reason for caution”.

J'apprécie beacoup le service le personnel est agréable,ils répondent toujours a la demande J'apprécie aussi l'endroit l'hôtel est proche de tout a quelque pas de la gare de train et beaucoup de restaurants a côté. le petit déjeuner est moyenne pas beaucoup de choix par contre le dîner je peux donner 2 sur 10 oeut être a cause de manque de clientèle. Les chambre son propre nais les tapis est trop usager c'est le temp de changer les tapis ca degege l'odeur de l'usure

The great: spacious suite with balcony and no road noise. The good: friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, swimming pool. Fridge! The not so good: only one socket in the bedroom (two in the bathroom). No filtered water facilities-supermarket 10mn away. No ironing boards. The not good at all: avoid tour package to waterfalls. It was massively overpriced and only included transport.

They gave us free upgrade. So we got a suite with balcony view. It was lovely, felt well rested and the rooftop pool was AMAZING!!! Worth the price. Just wish I could try their buffet/restaurant but no time.
