The property appears charming on the website but it was a huge disappointment. I booked the hotel based on having an office area / work station and the pool. The pool was very cold and incredibly dirty didn't go in. The computer barely worked and the printer was broken so I was not as advertised.

We stayed 2 nights, room wasnt noise proof. We went to the pool and structures werent working and we went to tell the front desk and she just said press the button it works. We went back pressed the buttons and it DID NOT WORK, we went back to her to let her know and she seemed annoyed and said it works just press it. So we just let it go, kids were disappointed but whatever then as we were swimming we start finding balls of hair and dissolving tissue we asked the front desk and she said pool didnt get cleaned all weekend and she wasnt sure when the maintenence guy was coming, if we didnt like it to try going back to the pool later. Disappointing, not planning to go back.

Very well laid out spacious room with all amenities as one would expect. Staff will provide additional items or extra coat hangers if requested. The only small gripe over our stay was the swimming pool. It is advertised as heated but it is colder than lake Huron in which we swam in regulary.

Room was nice enough and clean. No laundry bag provided and Pool water looked cloudy and not heated. Also no towels at pool. Need to go to front desk to get a pool towel. The bucket feature doesn't work but there is a bubbler in rhe pool which the kids found amusing. Breakfast was just ok. Coffee is bad . Tastes like dishwater. Also orange juice machine had equivalent of coloured water in it and no attendants around to correct it.

The place was very clean, and the beds very comfortable. Staff was very cordial. My only complaints are there was only one washcloth for the two of us, and when I inquired, they had no more. They also had no more hand towels that I would have used in substitution for a washcloth. Also, the pool was not heated and the tile surrounding the pool is very slick when wet. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

The room was a good size for a longer stay. We had plenty of room to hang out and even a table to eat at. The pool seems to need some repairs. The extra features like the buckets that dump were not working. The breakfast selection on the first day (Friday) was great, but it seemed like there were less options on the weekend. For example, the first day the "bread bin" had pastries like danishes as well as bread and bagels but over the weekend, it was just bread and bagels. It was the same for other things too like flavours of yogurt.

The room was very nice and spacious and clean with a big fridge but stove burners didn’t work. The pool was very small compared to the picture, dunking buckets didn’t work. The outside patio was very small, had 1 table and in the picture it had many. but we used the bbq and it was a nice place to sit and cook anyway, view just of parking lot but still thankful to have a place to sit and cook. There was no other place outside offered on property. i used the laundry $4 per wash $4 per dry, maybe that’s the going rate?? seemed high. also no dispenser selling laundry soap. The Bar was in front lobby completely closed . even though the ad says there is a bar there that is open. i asked why it’s closed, the girl at front said because there’s not enough people. The breakfast is not nice. the eggs tasted weird like almost fake, and the sausage the first morning were dry tastes like saw dust, the second morning they had sausage rounds instead, again very dry and strange taste! The cleaning lady was very very nice, and i could see she was hardworking. she cleaned very nice and even folded our sleep clothes on the beds and loaded and started dishwasher and vacuumed and stocked towels very happy with the cleaning service. They don’t offer cots i asked. but at same time never offered extra pillow or blanket. place seemed oddly quiet like a ghost town hotel. but on other hand quiet is good too. Overall not worth the price because everything seemed to be not what was advertised.

We chose the hotel because it had EV charging. When we got there we learned that the two charging stations were out of commission due to the imminent installation of new chargers. However, there was nothing on the hotel website about the chargers not being usable. Very disappointing.

The room was a decent size and relatively clean until you get into the bathroom. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the opening of the hotel. There was black mould around the base of the shower, there was dirt all along the track of the shower door and the vent had an inch of dust.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet. Our room was nice and clean. We loved having a full-sized fridge instead of a mini-fridge which you would find at most hotels. Breakfast was good. Our son loved having pancakes every morning. We would definitely stay here again and have already referred you to other people.

Wir waren für eine Hochzeit in Kincardine 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel, weil es angeblich das neuste Hotel in der Stadt ist. Positiv: der Staff an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, das Frühstück ok. Aber: der Zustand der Zimmer war schrecklich. Wir hatten einen grossen Flecken auf dem Bettlaken, die Kissen haben übel gestunken, die Handtücher hatten Löcher. Beim Zimmer meiner Schwester war die Dusche defekt und es gab kein Housekeeping. Kurz: wir waren froh, konnten wir auschecken.

We spent 2 nights here.This is a Marriott hotel, so it was surprising to come back after a days outing to find our room not clean and no fresh towels. We asked about this at the front desk and were told that we weren't even scheduled for a basic tidy-up.and, if we wanted towels we could take some up ourselves. Where's the usual Marriott service? Also there was black mould in the shower and rust on the shower doorframe. Breakfast was good, once someone brought out coffee.

Standards have certainly slipped. Room was filthy, water wouldn’t drain in bathtub because of all the hair in the drain. Kitchen was filthy. Toe nail clippings on pool deck, and pool was full of hair and cloudy.

Bathroom was huge, rooms were great, breakfast was good the downside was the Air conditioner was the same temp of 21/22 regardless of the setting…. It was too warm for sleeping… so did not sleep well, front desk was notified but nothing was done. Will not stay there again for this reason.

It was an ok property. Most impressive was the complementary breakfast. It was great. The kitchen in the room was really good. The room was spacious. The only down side was the air conditioner was not cool enough. Overall it was a good experience and the location was great.

The breakfast was expertly managed by the hard working staff. Rooms were la good size and accommodated our bikes. Kincardine is a lovely town and it was nice to be in so close to the amenities and the bike trail.

Maintenance of the A/C, washroom and room in general should be better (loud A/C, broken toilet seat, chewed up sofa). Very kind cleaning and kitchen staff made it worth the stay.

Our stay at this hotel did not meet expectations we had of a Marriott branded hotel. The rooms and furnishings are dated, bathroom fixtures were loose, 3 of the 4 light bulbs in the hallway ceiling fixture were burned out, and there was an unrepaired/patched hole in the bedroom wall left behind by a technician who repaired something behind it. The hotel lobby itself had a sullen ambience which was less than inviting. The breakfast, although adequate, was less than appetizing, and the coffee was weak and disappointing. Had to walk to the Tim's down the street to get real coffee. Service was nowhere to be found as the hotel appears to be understaffed. Overall, the staff are courteous and pleasant but the hotel could use a refurbishment.
Our stay at this hotel did not meet expectations we had of a Marriott branded hotel. The rooms and furnishings are dated, bathroom fixtures were loose, 3 of the 4 light bulbs in the hallway ceiling fixture were burned out, and there was an unrepaired/patched hole in the bedroom wall left behind by a technician who repaired something behind it. The hotel lobby itself had a sullen ambience which was less than inviting. The breakfast, although adequate, was less than appetizing, and the coffee was weak and disappointing. Had to walk to the Tim's down the street to get real coffee. Service was nowhere to be found as the hotel appears to be understaffed. Overall, the staff are courteous and pleasant but the hotel could use a refurbishment.

We stayed 2 nights, room wasnt noise proof. We went to the pool and structures werent working and we went to tell the front desk and she just said press the button it works. We went back pressed the buttons and it DID NOT WORK, we went back to her to let her know and she seemed annoyed and said it works just press it. So we just let it go, kids were disappointed but whatever then as we were swimming we start finding balls of hair and dissolving tissue we asked the front desk and she said pool didnt get cleaned all weekend and she wasnt sure when the maintenence guy was coming, if we didnt like it to try going back to the pool later. Disappointing, not planning to go back.

We spent 2 nights here.This is a Marriott hotel, so it was surprising to come back after a days outing to find our room not clean and no fresh towels. We asked about this at the front desk and were told that we weren't even scheduled for a basic tidy-up.and, if we wanted towels we could take some up ourselves. Where's the usual Marriott service? Also there was black mould in the shower and rust on the shower doorframe. Breakfast was good, once someone brought out coffee.

Super friendly staff! Room! Awesome! Could not believe the extent of making our stay effortless from tea towels to wine glasses! Then we found out they will be starting renovations!!! WHAT???? This place looks brand new! Front desk staff FANTASTIC!! Please pass this on to them!! ( can’t recall their names). When we visit Kincardine again we’ll definitely book in here! Sue and Chris Robinson ( Marriott owners…time share …2005!)

About the only thing that detracted a bit from the stay was the population of seagulls that live on or near the hotel. They are beautiful birds, but the mess they leave is a bit unsightly. Cheers.

Rooms are large with well-equipped kitchenettes. Staff are fine, if a little indifferent. Room was not serviced after our first day there. Seagull colony on roof makes a mess of cars in lots. Park away from the building.

The breakfast was expertly managed by the hard working staff. Rooms were la good size and accommodated our bikes. Kincardine is a lovely town and it was nice to be in so close to the amenities and the bike trail.

It would have been nice to have the bar open to watch golf or a ball game. Downtown is not walkable. 30 minute walk. Otherwise it was very clean and service was good at front desk. Rooms are very nice.

Everything was good except for the breakfast. It was advertised as a "hot buffet". There was no hot food, no milk for the cold cereal, the bran muffins were still frozen. When we complained the desk clerk said they were not prepared for the number of guests. He couldn't seem to find the manager but promised to have them call us. We have recieved no call.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet. Our room was nice and clean. We loved having a full-sized fridge instead of a mini-fridge which you would find at most hotels. Breakfast was good. Our son loved having pancakes every morning. We would definitely stay here again and have already referred you to other people.

Everything related to the property and the facilities was very good, the staff was excellent, super friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the only thing that for my family and I does not have a good score is the included breakfast, that cannot be called a full breakfast, there was no fruit only bananas, they did not have ham, bacon, the scrambled eggs were so cold and there was no other option of whole or boiled eggs or something that complemented the breakfast, I truly regretted the experience with the food only the coffee and the bread were pleasant.

Room was nice enough and clean. No laundry bag provided and Pool water looked cloudy and not heated. Also no towels at pool. Need to go to front desk to get a pool towel. The bucket feature doesn't work but there is a bubbler in rhe pool which the kids found amusing. Breakfast was just ok. Coffee is bad . Tastes like dishwater. Also orange juice machine had equivalent of coloured water in it and no attendants around to correct it.

The room was very nice and spacious and clean with a big fridge but stove burners didn’t work. The pool was very small compared to the picture, dunking buckets didn’t work. The outside patio was very small, had 1 table and in the picture it had many. but we used the bbq and it was a nice place to sit and cook anyway, view just of parking lot but still thankful to have a place to sit and cook. There was no other place outside offered on property. i used the laundry $4 per wash $4 per dry, maybe that’s the going rate?? seemed high. also no dispenser selling laundry soap. The Bar was in front lobby completely closed . even though the ad says there is a bar there that is open. i asked why it’s closed, the girl at front said because there’s not enough people. The breakfast is not nice. the eggs tasted weird like almost fake, and the sausage the first morning were dry tastes like saw dust, the second morning they had sausage rounds instead, again very dry and strange taste! The cleaning lady was very very nice, and i could see she was hardworking. she cleaned very nice and even folded our sleep clothes on the beds and loaded and started dishwasher and vacuumed and stocked towels very happy with the cleaning service. They don’t offer cots i asked. but at same time never offered extra pillow or blanket. place seemed oddly quiet like a ghost town hotel. but on other hand quiet is good too. Overall not worth the price because everything seemed to be not what was advertised.

While the stay was great we were charged extra for breakfast for 2 children . This was not clear on the booking through expedia. Also, the breakfast timings finishs way too early at 930am whereas most places allow until 10-1030am. We were charged $30 extra for breakfast and didn't even get to have breakfast on second day due to timing.

There were a number of things during our stay that were really frustrating and also concerning. At check in we waited in a long line with only 1 staff member working and then were not given any direction of where anything was located including our room, the elevator, pool, gym or breakfast area. Our room had a strong odour coming from near the windows - either the a/c unit or something in the carpet - we had to keep the window open the whole time just to try and get some fresh air. We also found food and crumbs on the floor beside the sofa. The entrance off the side of the building was not secured - the lock was broken and the door was left unlocked all day and night with free access for anyone to enter the building. HUGE SECURITY RISK!!! We returned to our room at 3pm after being out for the day and housekeeping still hadn't come through. We asked if we could just get some fresh towels, but were told there were none available (they were all being washed), but we could come get a pool towel instead. I phoned again at 6:30pm and they said they would send someone to bring some. When we returned at 9pm after dinner, still no towels and had to phone for a third time. The breakfast was awful - most of the hot food was lukewarm/cold. The pancake machine was broken "out of order", as was the ice machine on our floor, the treadmill in the gym, the ATM was out of cash, and the pool was freezing cold! It was our most disappointing hotel stay and not one I would ever recommend.
