Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Augusta-Washington Rd

The location of the hotel is excellent. You're a few minutes from Downtown Augusta, the mall is nearby and turning right out of the hotel is a Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and on ramp for I-20. The front desk staff are very helpful and professional. The breakfest is great hot and cold food. The Wi-Fi is great for working and the gym was very nice.

The putt golf, giant chess game and beautiful pool are a big plus. The fitness center was also great.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hampton Inn, with great staff and an excellent choice for breakfast. I have had to deduct one star from the overall rating as the pool was dirty and contained leaves as well as a creature that looked like a giant millipede.

The workout facility was below average. There was no disinfectant cloth to wipe down the equipment, the stationary bike was in disrepair, the TV didn't work and it seemed like the whole facility was just to check the box that it was there.

took 9 hours to receive a light bulb then tried to give me back the one that was bad. Dog poop on the 5th floor rug down hallway smelled was horrific. could not use pool at all. sign on pool said from 9am to 10 pm we went there at 915 to see a sign that said pool will be closed till 12 due to Maintenace. However maintance was not around until around 10 at the pool then we had a meeting at 1 so could not use pool. My point was if I have to checkout at 11 and the pool is closed til 12 what i will never be able to swim. The whole reason i chose this was for a out door pool. Well that didnt happen. the front desk saturday morning lady (White) was very disrespectful to one of us. told us oh well not her issue.. i will not recommend this hotel to ANYONE. The only good employees you have are the manager (Black ) Lady was outstanding not only in listening but said she would take care of it. The other employee is the poor man that had to clean up the dog poop at 1130 pm.. you need to keep them and have them teach your staff some manners and respect. As they both deserve a better hotel team to work with. I will never stay at this hotel again.

All staff were efficient and professional throughout. Other than a defective elevator at the time of stay, everything else was functional. Even the two small kids enjoyed our time at Hampton.

Outdoor pool area was awesome. Fire pit, game areas. Many different grouped sitting areas. Awesome giant chess game on the lawn. Everyone had an awesome time!

Great stay! The female employee when we checked in Sunday evening was friendly and greeted us with a smile as we entered before we even reached the counter. We were given free bottles of water and they had cookies out for guests. She was very nice and helpful in changing rooms for us. There was not even a little bit of an attitude or irritation by the extra effort. The male employee the next day at check out was also very nice and really fun to talk to. At check out, the cookies were not out yet and my friend asked about the cookies and was teasing him about when they'd be put out. He took it in good fun and surprisingly when he finished checking us out, he went to the kitchen and brought a cookie out for each of us. You don't see this kind of thoughtfulness anymore! The hotel lobby was modern and comfortable. They had an outside area to sit with a fireplace and TV and a lit and beautiful clean pool with jets of water streaming into it. My room smelled clean and fresh, it didn't have a musty or disinfectant smell. The king bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and roomy. I appreciated where and how things were placed in the bathroom and the provided shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower, as well as the large body lotion on the sink. This hotel stay was the best stay I've experienced in a very long time in every way. The friendly smiles and extra effort were greatly appreciated! I will definitely be staying again! TV to

Room was not clean and hallways needed vacuuming bad. Floors were sticky. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Good stay just should do better with cleaning.

We appreciated the friendliness of the front desk staff and the cleanliness of the room. It was quiet and very restful.

The room was fairly clean. We only had one small trash can, there was mold in the bathroom in the ceiling. Our last day there from 9am until 2 am the next day the alarm system constantly went off. It was very annoying. It was to the point my family could not sleep. I ended up reaching out to corporate to get my last night’s stay refunded.

Our room was covered in mold. All over the walls top to bottom.

The staff were all friendly. The place was clean and well kept.

Rooms were nicely appointed. Shower had good pressure. The hotel was spotless and the lobby/dining room was nicely decorated. The grounds were well groomed and landscaped especially the pool area.

Smell bad, don’t look clean and the shower look nasty.

The floor in our room was oily, just nasty, the bed was awful. The dinning room furniture was stained and dirty, just didn't feel comfortable eating there. The staff was nice and helpful.

No hot water at all, best you get is warm and must run the water for 10 minutes prior. Housekeeping pounding on my door at 10am to get out. Its 11am check out, go away! Dirty room and bathroom

Walls were filthy and the bed was horrible. Hotel beds are usually broke down but this was beyond that. Overall disappointed since the Hampton is usually one of my first choices

I have stayed before and loved it. It’s very clean with a really good breakfast. But this time the heater would not work and couldn’t get internet to work. The lady working front desk was only one working at night and she did her best to help

Shower head couldn’t be adjusted; closet hanging rails were spaced such that clothes wouldn’t hang and got wrinkled

The floor was still wet when we got into the room, so we used a towel for drying. The towel was filthy when we were done. Obviously not mopped very well. The traffic noise from I-20 was awful.

When I booked the hotel I left a message stating I had two large dogs and wished to be notified if there was anything I needed to know. No response. When we arrived Shamar, the manager (according to him), told me I owed $150 for the dogs to stay. The website has no written fee for the dogs. I had him look and when he couldn't find anywhere that it showed a fee he told me that "everyone knows there's a fee." He then told me that because I used hotels.com, it wasn't there problem and I'd have to contact them. I'd been on the road for 12 hours at that time and he was refusing to check me in without the dog fee, though the room was pre-paid. He finally offered to charge me for one dog, which I paid, but I still have a sour taste in my mouth over the way I was treated. If you don't book through their website, you are a second class guess, less important than other guests. There is no mention of a fee for pets, only "Pets Welcome." I would not recommend this place for several reasons, but mostly because there is no empathy for guests who have been on the road for a long time.

My son and I didn’t get to check in until 1 am a lady named Carrie was so amazing, friendly and helpful!! It was a great stay would absolutely do it again!

Front desk amazing at check in. Helping get a room that could accommodate my elderly mother and her large walker

When we checked in the customer service was amazing. However, every staff member after check in was rude and unprofessional, the room was not serviced at all, leaving us with no towels and our bedding not refreshed.

The front desk staffer, Tanisha, was so rude, unaccommodating, and unwelcoming: I kept telling her I was charged and had a mobile key and she said well I am going to delete it and now I have been double charged. She said to just fix it in the morning yet I showed her where I was double charged

This hotel was horrible! I understand they were renovating, but as of March 15, the renovations were supposedly complete—yet the place still smelled bad, especially in the hallways. For the price we paid, I expected a better location, but it’s surrounded by what looks like abandoned hotels. Our room wasn’t up to par either—definitely not worth the cost. To make things worse, the staff was rude. This morning, while guests were trying to enjoy breakfast, an employee was already cleaning up—even though breakfast doesn’t end until 10 AM. This was around 8:45 AM! It was uncomfortable and unnecessary.

Very courteous and professional staff

This is an excellent property as far as price, location, and various food and shopping options. The staff was amazing. Friendly with smiles all around. I would definitely recommend booking your stay through Expedia, and staying at this Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton in Augusta, Ga.

The GM was super friendly, the front desk lady ( I don’t remember her name) was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel sign at the road wasn’t easily noticeable and the access driveway around to The Hampton was badly neglected. Shrubs have over grown crowding in, I wasn’t sure if I was on the correct route. It just looked like an alleyway you shouldn’t go down. That’s an easy fix and shouldn’t be a deterrent! Once in the parking lot its as I expected, the trusted Hampton Inn high standards. I can relax in knowing no matter where we are The Hampton will be pretty much the same, it’s like staying at home!

Ran down neighborhood but immaculate hotel.

Nice hotel once I was able to get to it, not an easy spot from a very busy street, GPS had me at the Red Roof Inn which is in front of Hampton, nice lady directed me. Hotel was clean, very busy only one elevator was working which was a pain. But room was lovely, cool and clean, bathroom was great love the shower. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Will stay here again.

Great location

The hotel itself is nice and well kept. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful. However, the area around the hotel is sketchy. There are 2 run down hotels with people who appeared to be intoxicated or high wandering around and in the street between the hotel and main road. We had to stop to keep from hitting a few on our way in and out of the hotel. Do not recommend for a single female or a couple of women traveling by themselves.

Hotel is off the main road and a little hard to access. Properties along access road were being renovated making this one somewhat hard to find. Excellent staff and service. Very good hot breakfast.

Next to some shady places not walkable and no luxury ride shares

Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with a cheerful staff. Busy location with lots of gas stations, fast food nearby. My room seemed to be sound-proofed which was wonderful.

Breakfast first morning was very limited and cold. Second day was very good. We also like the waffle maker.

The precious lady who provided breakfast, is probably the best provider in your entire Hampton Inn and Suites system--at least in the many we have stayed in! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The only improvement that you might consider is instructions on how to reach the TV guide channel--very minor! Great hotel and Staff!

Room was clean but lotion bottle was empty. Breakfast was awful. They ran out of juice, eggs were burned and breakfast area was not kept clean. It was not what you would usually expect from a Hampton Inn and we would not stay here again.

This Hampton Inn was very clean , quiet and convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I could see that needed improvement was they need one more person working in the breakfast area. We went down to get breakfast at 8:45am and there was barely anything left and we were told breakfast was from 6-10am. The girl working in the breakfast area seemed overwhelmed and unhappy.

AMAZING! We were incredibly impressed with this Hampton. They laid out the best breakfast buffet we have ever had at a mid-range hotel chain, like OMG, cheese omelets, sausage, grits, oatmeal, peanut butter, honey, bananas, muffins, waffles with all the toppings, cereal, and more!!! They had nice big showers and lots of soft towels. You add these amenities to the absolutely delightful staff, and the result is a near perfect stay!
