Some nice people at reception but in general they should relook at how they describe the hotel. Elevator faulty, but stairs full of construction debris. Terrace/restaurant view is very nice but service is extremely slow (even to recognize that we are there), the menu is hard to load via the QR code, and many items not available. After ordering it took 1hr+ for food to arrive and maybe it came from a place down the street? No internet working for our stay. The hotel is spread between several floors of an old apartment building, our room on floor 5 had a good view of the pyramids. Traffic noise was high on the patio but OK with the window closed. My daughter's favorite part was the stray cat in the corridor and the defunct hot tub in the corner of the room.

Great location and the rooms facing pyramids. Our room size was huge, jacuzzi with pyramids view. The windows are wall to wall and bottom to ceiling giving the best view of pyramids from everywhere in the room. Their restaurant is very convenient and roof top view of pyramids. It’s the very good location. Restaurant staff is very courteous and food is decent. They were able to get us the cabs from to airport and also arrange for a tour etc. that was very convenient. A bit pricey compared to what we could have done with Uber ourselves. But it’s worth being in the new country and convenience of going to multiple places Area and approach to the hotel can be a bit daunting but as long as uber or car is there it’s good. Overall quality of bathrooms/fittings can be better but since we there for just one day it was good for us. In all it’s a great location, good staff and convenience to Giza pyramids etc.

The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful, although pretty unorganized. The rooftop patio was great and gives you a great view of the pyramids. The internet was horrible and didn’t really work at all, so if you need to work remotely, this is not the hotel for you. The internet on the rooftop patio was fast when it was working, but it went in and out randomly. It was off way more than it was working. Floors of both rooms we stayed in were filthy.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, a perfect view of the Pyramids from the rooftop.The hotel is conveniently located near the Pyramids. The terrace is amazing, possibly the best in the area, where you can enjoy the laser show. The natural juices served were very good. The staff was consistently friendly and ready to assist.

I had a nice and comfortable stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, allowing for quick access to the Pyramids and the rest of Giza. Also it’s only a short drive away from downtown Cairo. The facilities could use a little improvement—the toilet seat in my room was broken and would occasionally come unhinged, but it was functional. There were some exposed wires by my bedside table, some fallen LED strips loosely hanging under the desk, and some lighting features that just wouldn’t work. These were all minor things however that didn’t really impact my stay too much. I will say what makes the hotel exceptional are two things: the rooftop restaurant that over looks the Pyramids, and the over the top service from the staff. The view from the roof is spectacular and I spent a lot of time up there during my stay. It will definitely be remembered as one of the highlights of my trip. The staff always went out of their way to make sure I was having the best stay I could. Omar was fantastic and a huge part of why I had such a great trip. My first day he showed me around Giza and took me out for lunch. He was there whenever I needed assistance or wanted to book an activity. And when I had a last minute issue with an Expedia booking for a cruise on the Nile, Omar arranged for me to go on a different cruise just a couple hours before for no additional cost. I can’t thank him and the other staff enough for their service and help. Truly an unforgettable stay! Would recommend!

We had some at the front desk when we first arrived that could have been avoided but after the issue was fixed, our stay was very nice. The room and bathroom was clean but the jet tub was clearly dirty. The views were great but the traffic noise could be a lot if you’re not used to it.

We chose this hotel based on the high (9.8) rating. It was in horrible shape, dirty with exposed wiring in the bathroom. However, the most egregious part was when we went to leave in the morning, the desk staff would not check us out and tried to prevent us from leaving unless we left them an excellent review right there on the spot. Our tour guide who came to pick us up at the hotel had to intervene for us to be able to leave. Not only should you not stay here, but Orbitz/Expedia should remove them from their site.

A Gem in the Heart of Giza My stay at Comfort Giza Inn was exceptional! The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from the pyramids, and the rooftop view was absolutely magical. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, even helping me arrange a private tour. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. I can’t wait to return and bring my family next time

I had a nice and comfortable stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, allowing for quick access to the Pyramids and the rest of Giza. Also it’s only a short drive away from downtown Cairo. The facilities could use a little improvement—the toilet seat in my room was broken and would occasionally come unhinged, but it was functional. There were some exposed wires by my bedside table, some fallen LED strips loosely hanging under the desk, and some lighting features that just wouldn’t work. These were all minor things however that didn’t really impact my stay too much. I will say what makes the hotel exceptional are two things: the rooftop restaurant that over looks the Pyramids, and the over the top service from the staff. The view from the roof is spectacular and I spent a lot of time up there during my stay. It will definitely be remembered as one of the highlights of my trip. The staff always went out of their way to make sure I was having the best stay I could. Omar was fantastic and a huge part of why I had such a great trip. My first day he showed me around Giza and took me out for lunch. He was there whenever I needed assistance or wanted to book an activity. And when I had a last minute issue with an Expedia booking for a cruise on the Nile, Omar arranged for me to go on a different cruise just a couple hours before for no additional cost. I can’t thank him and the other staff enough for their service and help. Truly an unforgettable stay! Would recommend!

We had some at the front desk when we first arrived that could have been avoided but after the issue was fixed, our stay was very nice. The room and bathroom was clean but the jet tub was clearly dirty. The views were great but the traffic noise could be a lot if you’re not used to it.

The rooms at this hotel were very nice and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment during our stay. The highlight of our visit was the fantastic view of the pyramids during breakfast on the rooftop. Didn’t get the room I paid for. We had booked two nights deluxe room with jacuzzi and pyramids view. When we went there to check in around 1pm They told us ur room is not ready yet but it will be in few hours, instead they gave us a room which was not cleaned no view no jacuzzi and no towels shampoo etc just to leave our luggage’s, after few hours I asked them again and they said at night after u come from the tour which I booked with them as well, when we went back around 10pm I asked for our room and they told us Not tonight but the tomorrow because of the jacuzzi being replaced with the new one etc lie lie lie They gave our room to someone else, Next day in late afternoon they gave us the room with jacuzzi and the jacuzzi wasn’t new but old not recently replaced so it was all lies I contacted Expedia and hotel refused to refund us any money, The hotel staff was very rude smelling bad like their rooms, and were not even telling to us We didn’t feel safe anymore there And had to book another hotel and left from there. Beside all of this they kept bothering me on WhatsApp days before trying to sell tours to convince u what to do Asking me when are u coming what time We will send u a taxi etc Just to make a as much money as they can from you,

We chose this hotel based on the high (9.8) rating. It was in horrible shape, dirty with exposed wiring in the bathroom. However, the most egregious part was when we went to leave in the morning, the desk staff would not check us out and tried to prevent us from leaving unless we left them an excellent review right there on the spot. Our tour guide who came to pick us up at the hotel had to intervene for us to be able to leave. Not only should you not stay here, but Orbitz/Expedia should remove them from their site.

Great location and the rooms facing pyramids. Our room size was huge, jacuzzi with pyramids view. The windows are wall to wall and bottom to ceiling giving the best view of pyramids from everywhere in the room. Their restaurant is very convenient and roof top view of pyramids. It’s the very good location. Restaurant staff is very courteous and food is decent. They were able to get us the cabs from to airport and also arrange for a tour etc. that was very convenient. A bit pricey compared to what we could have done with Uber ourselves. But it’s worth being in the new country and convenience of going to multiple places Area and approach to the hotel can be a bit daunting but as long as uber or car is there it’s good. Overall quality of bathrooms/fittings can be better but since we there for just one day it was good for us. In all it’s a great location, good staff and convenience to Giza pyramids etc.

The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful, although pretty unorganized. The rooftop patio was great and gives you a great view of the pyramids. The internet was horrible and didn’t really work at all, so if you need to work remotely, this is not the hotel for you. The internet on the rooftop patio was fast when it was working, but it went in and out randomly. It was off way more than it was working. Floors of both rooms we stayed in were filthy.

We had some at the front desk when we first arrived that could have been avoided but after the issue was fixed, our stay was very nice. The room and bathroom was clean but the jet tub was clearly dirty. The views were great but the traffic noise could be a lot if you’re not used to it.

The location of the hotel is very good. Right in front of the pyramids and the view from Rooftop is breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and rich. Staff was really kind and helpful. Room was spacious and the decoration of both the hotel and the room was authentic.

Some nice people at reception but in general they should relook at how they describe the hotel. Elevator faulty, but stairs full of construction debris. Terrace/restaurant view is very nice but service is extremely slow (even to recognize that we are there), the menu is hard to load via the QR code, and many items not available. After ordering it took 1hr+ for food to arrive and maybe it came from a place down the street? No internet working for our stay. The hotel is spread between several floors of an old apartment building, our room on floor 5 had a good view of the pyramids. Traffic noise was high on the patio but OK with the window closed. My daughter's favorite part was the stray cat in the corridor and the defunct hot tub in the corner of the room.

We had a very comfortable stay at Comfort Inn Giza. This was our second time here. We had some problems with our delayed luggage, Sama in the reception team went above and beyond to help us out with getting our luggage back. This hotel was very nice, food was great and had beautiful views of the Pyramids. Look forward to going back.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a lovely variety, and the view from the in house restaurant was very nice.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, a perfect view of the Pyramids from the rooftop.The hotel is conveniently located near the Pyramids. The terrace is amazing, possibly the best in the area, where you can enjoy the laser show. The natural juices served were very good. The staff was consistently friendly and ready to assist.

The staff at this hotel were generally very friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff and at reception They helped us sort our phones/Wi-Fi, photocopy a page from a guide book and get some dates. They provided an early breakfast as we had a trip first thing in the morning which was much appreciated. The buffet breakfast was generous and it included traditional egyptian dishes.Of course, the view from their rooftop which is probably the best view of the pyramids in all of Giza, trust me on that.

3/5 — Beautiful Atmosphere, But Serious Security Issues The hotel has genuine charm — beautiful themed decor, a magnificent terrace with a stunning view, and an exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. The food was decent and the overall vibe was pleasant. For the price point, it delivers on aesthetics. However, I cannot overlook several serious security issues that significantly impacted our stay. At 2:39 AM, an unknown person knocked on our door for approximately 5 minutes. When we tried to secure the room, we discovered the door chain was missing . the mount was there, but no chain. To make matters worse, the peephole was damaged right in the center, making it impossible to identify who was outside. The patio door had no lock whatsoever, leaving us completely exposed from that entry point throughout the night. For a couple traveling, this was genuinely alarming. Additionally, upon checkout, staff repeatedly pressured us to provide our reservation details and translate them into English — behavior that felt inappropriate and suggested they may have been attempting to post their own review using guest information. The hotel is older and shows its age — walls are worn and it sits comfortably at a 3-star level, which is fine if expectations are set accordingly. The location is what it is — nothing surprising, just average. Bottom line : Lovely staff, gorgeous terrace, real security concerns that management needs to address immediately.
