The room was functional and fairly clean. The bathroom floor was in need of a really thorough clean. Staff were friendly and helpful Tea and coffee in the room was really good Room did smell a little of fried food (possibly due to proximity of pub kitchen?) The communal areas were filthy. Especially the stairwell. Bed was comfortable and being clean. We requested an ironing board and that was in the room when we arrived (really grateful for that). Overall, average room that was overpriced (most likely due to local university graduation event).

We recently stayed at the Fallow Field Hotel with the kids and had a really lovely experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was perfect for what we needed as a family, and everything felt relaxed and easy, which is exactly what you want when travelling with children! We all slept well and found the hotel to be a great base for our trip. Really good value for money, family-friendly and somewhere I’d happily stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Booked a family room for 2 adults and a child. The pull out bed had no bedding, there was one cup and one glass and one towel between 3 of us and only one key card meaning two of us were left in darkness if one had to pop outside, taking the key cadd to regain access in to the building. I tried to contact the night porter to no avail. We had to sleep three in one bed so all had no sleep. Poor effort.
