Great room (Room 3). Nice bathroom and very large bed. Quiet in the evening as pub closes around 10.30pm. Great Full Monty breakfast. Lots of parking. Easy flat walk into Lymington.

Really nice place to visit and stay. Good selection of beers and wine. Short walk into Lymington along the river. Very nice staff. Free parking. Dogs welcome.

Perfectly dog friendly accommodation. My hounds could come to dinner and breakfast and just hang out with me in the bar. The rooms are spacious and clean with a wonderful comfy bed. Local area to explore, dogs welcome, and an exhilarating solent walk. Went to unwind with my babies and we did just that! Oh and the food was just fab, huge portions and very beautifully presented. Well done Mayflower, i felt welcomed.

We had a wonderful mini break . Location is perfect. Staff and service are amazing and nothing is too much trouble . The food is amazing !! Would definitely return We have an electric vehicle and it would have been helpful if they had a charger in the carpark , however there is an electric charger around the corner in the marina carpark . Beautiful sunrise if you are awake early enough .

Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay.Was greeted by very friendly staff who showed us to our room which had a balcony with lovely views of the sea and Isle of Wight in the distance. Room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Had dinner one of the evening’s and I must say was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had,My wife had the fish and chips and was as happy as me with her choice. Breakfast was very nice too. Lovely big beer garden with plenty of seating area. Would definitely visit The Mayflower again 5 ⭐️

Good points: We (1 adult, two kids) stayed in the Aston Suite and there was plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and large. The bathroom was in good condition and the water pressure was exceptional. There was parking at the pub and EV charging in the public car park at the back of the pub. Not so good: When i booked the room i received confirmation at one price from Expedia and another confirmation from the Mayflower for £25 more. I called to see what was going on and was told it was an extra guest fee, then it was for breakfast - neither was true. On arrival I was assured it was an issue with Expedia and i would only be charged the amount Expedia had confirmed. Luckily I checked my credit card before i checked out because I'd been charged an extra £36. Again told this is an Expedia issue. This all tainted the experience. The refund hasnt come through yet, so yet more chasing and complaining.

We stayed for three days recently and throughly enjoyed the visit, excellent staff and very helpful with our little dog, on site car parking right next to the marina even took the ferry from Lymington to Isle of Wight as foot passengers

The overall condition of the hotel was appalling, from the minute you draw up outside and then climb the stairs to the overrated oddly decorated room. The staff were beyond amazing and the food was excellent, and the room itself was spotless. Such a shame about the initial sight, and the filthy hall and stair carpet. And the lack of any comfort in the bedroom except for the bed. And why is the bathroom mirror almost on the ceiling? All I could see was my forehead. It was a perfect situation for a lovely stay. What a shame it is going to rack and ruin.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Mayflower. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and modern. Nespresso coffee machines included. The pub serves well kept beer and is nice an cosy with a real log fire. Breakfast was excellent with a full monty breakfast that showed that the chef cared about what was on our plates. The location is a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Lymington and it has ample free parking.

We were pleased that our room had a view over the marina, which was lovely. Fascinating watching the Isle of Wight ferry come and go. The ensuite was nicely decorated, and modern, but the overhead shower head could do with replacing as water came out of only about half the holes. Lovely toiletries provided. The room looked lovely, but there are many paint chips and scuffs. Downstairs, the food was really good. Breakfast also tasty, though I'd have liked cereals to be available as well. Overall, it served our purposes well, but the whole place could do with a big tidy up.

The pub is charming to look at and the meal was nice but our room was shocking. There was mould on one of the bathroom towels and when we woke up my partner found a toenail clipping stuck to his arm and he was covered in little black bugs! I complained and received a discount on my food bill. Strange customer service as my meal was the best part of the stay and received no complaints from us.

Lovely one night stay at The Mayflower. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast very good with plenty if choice. Building needs some money spending on it as there was damp on the stairwell,but, our room and bathroom was great!

Great place to stay for Valentines day with good location. Lovely warm welcome from staff on arrival who showed us to our room. Stayed in room 5, gorgeous room which was very spacious.Cocktails were great and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we didnt sleep very well due to very hot room and faulty radiator. Comfy kingsize bed and great shower. Breakfast was delicious and member of staff was very helpful. Will definitely return

We had a fantastic stay at the Mayflower. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent. It's close to numerous walks around Lymington & Keyhaven nature reserve. We will be back.

We booked this last minute just as we arrived in Lymington - and the staff were all really friendly and helpful - we booked a table for dinner which was really good. Room was perfect - only small thing was that the emergency light above the door was really bright - and I’m sure this is out of their control. Breakfast was spot on and again the staff were lovely. Will definitely go back.

Excellent stay - the location is great and a nice walk to the town centre & Quayside as well as an easy drive through the New Forest - the room was lovely & spacious & the bed extremely comfortable! The shower was one of the best hotel showers I have used! The food was excellent especially the breakfast - and finally the staff, they were brilliant!!!!!! At times the pub was very busy yet the staff were always kind & cheerful & the service they gave was exceptional - I would highly recommend staying here!!!

Had a pleasant 2 days at the mayflower situated in a great location we had an evening meal and breakfast which were very good and value for money atmosphere was good mixture of guests and locals My one negative would when checking out they were unable to provide itemised bill for items booked to the room

Good points: We (1 adult, two kids) stayed in the Aston Suite and there was plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and large. The bathroom was in good condition and the water pressure was exceptional. There was parking at the pub and EV charging in the public car park at the back of the pub. Not so good: When i booked the room i received confirmation at one price from Expedia and another confirmation from the Mayflower for £25 more. I called to see what was going on and was told it was an extra guest fee, then it was for breakfast - neither was true. On arrival I was assured it was an issue with Expedia and i would only be charged the amount Expedia had confirmed. Luckily I checked my credit card before i checked out because I'd been charged an extra £36. Again told this is an Expedia issue. This all tainted the experience. The refund hasnt come through yet, so yet more chasing and complaining.

Excellent stay - the location is great and a nice walk to the town centre & Quayside as well as an easy drive through the New Forest - the room was lovely & spacious & the bed extremely comfortable! The shower was one of the best hotel showers I have used! The food was excellent especially the breakfast - and finally the staff, they were brilliant!!!!!! At times the pub was very busy yet the staff were always kind & cheerful & the service they gave was exceptional - I would highly recommend staying here!!!

Very close to ferry, and a few minutes drive to the Yacht Haven. some rooms overlook Lymington Town Sailing Clubhouse. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good good. Will return.

Booked as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. Great hotel located in a very convenient location. Lovely walk to the town quay and high street. The Mayflower is a 15 minute walk to the High Street. It is tucked away down by the marina and yacht clubs. Brilliant rooms and good breakfast. One small niggle is the pub closes at 10pm.

The room we had was very nice,quite spacious, The pub itself was comfortable, the only down side was our evening meal which was in our opinion expensive for two roast chicken dinners priced at £17.50 each the broccoli spears were rock hard, the roast potatoes & parsnips were dry as if they had been kept warm all day.There excuse was that they had been busy all day. Surely your meal should be as good to enjoy no matter what time of day it is

Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay.Was greeted by very friendly staff who showed us to our room which had a balcony with lovely views of the sea and Isle of Wight in the distance. Room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Had dinner one of the evening’s and I must say was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had,My wife had the fish and chips and was as happy as me with her choice. Breakfast was very nice too. Lovely big beer garden with plenty of seating area. Would definitely visit The Mayflower again 5 ⭐️

Lovely hotel and we had a room overlooking the marina. Lovely breakfast. Only issue was that the bar/restaurant stopped serving food too early which forced us in to town to find somewhere else for an evening meal

The Mayflower was lovely. The recent refurbishment has been very successful Our room REEF was very pleasant and I found the bed very comfortable. A big shoutout to the staff. They were so welcoming, very attentive and so helpful. Hopefully we will be able to return next year.
