Beautiful little room close to the water in the old part of Split. However, there were no check in instructions, the windows were leaking during a downpour and the shower did not function properly. The address was very hard to find and we only did find it by asking a hotel that happened to be next door AND had the keys for the room. You can also hear everything in the rooms around you as well as outside. The other downside is that there was no parking as listed on the description. But, you can park by the port for $39 eur per night.

This is very well located accommodation, in the palace. Slightly tucked away making it quiet but only a few metres away from the squares & promenade.

Lots of stairs but staff was helpful with luggage up and down. Sewer smell? Drying rack didnt work. No amenties in room. Great location.

It was both excellent and essential that a person met us and instructed us on the parking. you cannot park close to this as property as it’s in the old palace so the young man that met us was outstanding got us right to the hotel and then we were able to re-park the car and our host was great at communicating, providing a number to reach him at and then he provided responses immediately The location is amazing. The number of windows to look out on was perfect. The views were great. You could see the mountains and we enjoyed hearing the bells.

We were in the Terra Room (Floor 1), and this stay left a bit to be desired in my opinion. Our main issue was the hot water (or lack thereof). We contacted the host multiple times (two to be exact over the course of a three night stay) after hot water for the shower only lasted five minutes (we timed it), and despite his efforts to fix it, it still only lasted 5 mins. The shower could also use a deep cleaning, as there was clear mold and mildew that wasn’t evident in prior written/photo reviews. The host also didn’t proactively reach out at all prior to the stay, which resulted in us waiting a half hour or more to check-in on the day of arrival. Despite this, he was easily reachable and very responsive when we did contact him. As others have noted there are a number of stairs to reach the room, and there is quite a bit of noise between the hours of 7:00-00:00. This is largely because the room is in Diocletian’s Palace, not far from the Vestibul, which is quite lively. The location of the room is definitely a perk, as is the relationship with the neighboring hotel, Hotel Vestibul Palace. You can eat breakfast there for free during your stay, and store luggage there, if needed, on departure days. We found the room to be well sized, and pretty comfortable. The air conditioning worked well.
