One of my favourite stops in all my travels, nothing too much bother for the host, thank you Alan.

Stayed 6 nights

The barn was nice and bigger than expected, tidy and warm. However we did find that we didnt feel as relaxed as we would have wanted to be, we booked the barn for 6 nights in order to have a nice stay away before our wedding day, we really wanted to have a nice week in our own space. unfortunately that was not the case as we felt like our space was costantly been monitored by the 2 dogs that live there, although we do like dogs we didnt want to always keep the doors closed.sometimes we wanted to go outside and enjoy the open air, but could not do so without one of the dogs jumping all over us or barking, which the owner allowed to happenOne of the key features of the building was the french doors in the front which we could not use fully because of this. Also we felt as if every time we went outside or to our car we were constantly going to have to have a conversation with the host as he always seemed to be there, or coming over to talk to us. which im sure he was trying to be friendly but we really wanted to be left alone, we might be alone in thinking this but most the time we travel we normaly go away to enjoy our own space. Furthermore the day of the wedding my partner was getting ready with the maiden of honor and my mother at the barn when the host came up with his phone out to record them without asking their permission making my partner feel very uncomfortable. Very creepy and upsetting. He was obviously trying to get pics for the barn.Wont recommend.

Stayed 2 nights

The barn was beautiful with spectacular views from the upstairs bedroom. It had all the amenities we needed and our host Alan was fabulous (along with his two canine assistants who were equally charming).
