Loved the spacious room layout! Very kind staff. Breakfast on day one was okay (omlette was soggy, tasted like something other than real egg). Fresh fruit, esp peaches and orange juice, was perfection! Only reason for four stars instead of five is (1) slightly outdated furnishings, which the space made up for, and (2) the members-only rules which restricted us from enjoying a Mother's Day brunch, the very reason we opted to stay an extra day. All that to say, clarify what exactly you're allowed to enjoy as non-members. It is a beautiful resort, conveniently close to nearby restaurants, and way beats the busy hotels by USF.

The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. However, the room did not have a refrigerator which we would have liked and the bathtub/shower did not have any non-slip protection or any type of bar for wash cloth/towel or to hold on to. It helps to have a way to steady yourself while in the shower. The staff was very cordial and helpful when needed.

When we arrived and checked in, it seemed like the lady at the front desk could barely be bothered and was not friendly. We felt like she thought we didn’t belong there. Our room was okay but had a musty smell to it. Some of the lights didn’t work and the toilet constantly ran. The cable went in and out the entire time so watching TV was torture. The free breakfast was okay. I did ask for more iced water and you would have thought I asked for the world. The lady definitely had an attitude about it. I then found out they use water right from the faucet. which had a terrible taste. We felt like everyone we encountered could barely be bothered. We definitely would never stay there again.
