We really liked the staff at this hotel. The breakfast was good, rooms were comfortable and quiet. The grounds were well kept. Pool was cold so we were in and out quickly. Having a heated pool would have made the stay better. We would stay here again for the great staff.

Der Service war excellent. Man hätte uns bei Bedarf auch Nachts noch Eis aus dem Supermarkt geholt. Traumhaftes Ambiente - erinnert an Siam (traditionelles Thailand). Der Whirlpool war super. Der Pool müsste etwas generalüberholt werden. Die Bademäntel sind nur bis Gr. M/L als Frau passend. Leider war das angebotene Frühstück sehr teuer. Man hat uns aber ein wirklich leckeres Restaurant (Vegetarier-Freundlich) ums Eck empfohlen. Im allgemeinen ein wunderschönes Hotel, sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service und sehr bequeme Betten. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Sowohl alleine, als Paar oder auch mit Kindern zu empfehlen. Mit Bolt kostet der Transport in die Stadt umgerechnet ca. 2€ (dringend die App dazu dann runterladen) und war innerhalb von 8 Minuten zu erreichen. Zu Fuß waren es max. 50 Minuten und angenehm zu laufen. Zum Flughafen waren es mit Bolt ebenfalls nur ca. 3€.

When we arrived, were greeted by a smiling woman who checked us in and was very helpful during our 6 days stay. The room was spacious and high under the ceiling. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. The room also has a small fridge. Outside there are sun beds and a clean pool. There's no restaurant at the premises, but they serve breakfast every morning. There are a few restaurants nearby and a 7-eleven just down the road. The hotel is located outside the city center, so you should definitely install Grab on your phone to get to and from the city center. All in all we had a good stay at the hotel.

You wont be sorry at this property. Room is beautiful, surroundings, breakfast and staff hospitality. Felt special. Yumi made us feel that way and the owner is delightful.so peaceful. This is one of our all-time favorite places to stay anywhere in the world. Located outside Chiang Mai it\'s removed from the noise and hassle of the city, yet it\'s still easy to come and go by asking the front desk to order a car (Lyft, Grab). The breakfast is lovely, served in an open air Sala. The staff is incredibly respectful, kind and gracious. The building and rooms showcase Lanna Thai teak carvings and indigenous fabrics. Do not confuse this place with another hotel with nearly the same name that is in the city. Be sure to book the one that has "Village" in the name.

This hotel beyond met my expectations! The stag was extremely attentive to our needs. Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic and freshly made to order! Our hotel room was comfortable, clean and a little piece of heaven! It was a favorite hotel during our two week trip all over Thailand! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed and Yumi was the best!

Vi spenderade 16 nätter i norra Thailand och vi stannade 8 nätter på Amata Lanna Village och med facit i hand hade vi gärna stannat där under hela vår semester. Detta är en "dold" skatt. Så lugnt och behagligt. Fjärilar och fågelsång. Kliniskt rent.

Such a beautiful hotel! The staff is some of the nicest and accommodating I’ve ever met, helping me get a taxi and WhatsApp messaging me restaurant suggestions. The room is beautiful and truly feels like you’re staying in a villa. The pool is lovely and while you have to take taxis basically anywhere, they’re very cheap especially on Grab. However there’s a few cafes and a market nearby should you just want to grab something close. We actually had some great crêpes from a spot that was walking distance from the hotel. I definitely enjoyed my stay here more than the one in the Old City, as you can tell they care a lot about the guests and keep the rooms very clean.

I was expecting much better hotel after reading all the reviews. Mosquitoes in the room and no we did not leave the door open. Make sure u bring a bug/mosquitos spray while u are eating breakfast and don’t expect a fancy breakfast, there is no capuchino or latte over here, just black coffee, a fruit bowl an omelette with a tiny sausage. No bar, no restaurant on the property, it is kinda boring after few hours. Make sure u don’t loose the key. They wanted to charge me $60 for the key. I can buy a whole set for $15/20 at the most. Lucky me I was able to find the key to avoid this ridiculous charge. However I want to give them 5 stars for the amazing hospitality.

The staff were friendly and helpful ( especially the front desk staff , both day and night shift) . Room was spacious and comfortable with strong air conditioning 24/7. I would recommend anyone who wants to stay in a boutique hotel with Thai lanna style to try this one. The only thing I would point out is I don’t understand why the house keeping staff didn’t clean the bathroom floor as our hair residue was left in the shower cubicle for a whole week! Plus they did not have iron to lend to guests!

Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are very clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel if you desire a quiet setting away from city noise.

A hidden gem in Chiang Mai and I have lived here a long time. Lanna style hotel bringing back times of yore. Wonder greeting at reception, room was beautiful, free mini bar, bed was ultra comfortable.

Très content de notre séjour. Lieux calme et apaisant avec street food a 2min de marche Un peu éloigné du centre ce qui permet d avoir plus de calme. Chambre propre et magnifique. Personnel incroyable très gentil et qui peut réserver les activités pour nous. Les chambres ne sont pas super bien isolé phonétiquement mais cela reste cependant très bien. Je recommande

Have a very pleasant experience in this hotel, especially for people who like traditional wooden architecture, yet the facility inside are modern enough, shower water are strong and hot, bed are comfortable, overall very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful which made my trip so much more easy. Especially enjoyed the breakfast with fresh fruit under they sky in the garden! Recommend for traveler who want something more authentic and want to be quiet and relax.

This property was fantastic. I travel full time and have stayed in many kinds of places all over the world This place was fantastic. The staff was 5 star, the rooms were large and really special in design and even have hot tubs. The included breakfast was good. Its a beautiful property i would happily return to.

This hotel beyond met my expectations! The stag was extremely attentive to our needs. Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic and freshly made to order! Our hotel room was comfortable, clean and a little piece of heaven! It was a favorite hotel during our two week trip all over Thailand! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed and Yumi was the best!

We chose Amata Lanna based on its location outside of the old city and based on Google reviews. Not disappointed. Its only 10 years old, but done in old Thai style, with walls around the property mirroring the old city walls. Yumi is a star of kindness and helpfulness. Thank you Yumi and your staff!

What a beautiful hotel! The staff was so kind & friendly. My husband & I bought eSIM cards that didn’t work so we didn’t have cell phone service. Umi & Nina were wonderful & called for most of our taxis (aside from the ones when we were already out). On one of the tours we booked we had a miscommunication about the pickup area & Nina helped call our guide & translate-she saved the day! It was a warm, inviting, intimate stay & we are so thankful! Highly recommend.

We stayed at several hotels while in Thailand. This one was my absolute favorite. Tucked away on the outskirts of the old town, you can get a glimpse of regular Thai living outside the walls of the hotel, away from the tourist traps of downtown. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. For me, returning to Amata Lanna Village after a day of exploring felt like coming home. Both gorgeous and cozy, my one regret is not spending more time relaxing by the poolside or in their quaint treetop bungalow. Highly recommend if you prefer being away from the crowds at the end of the day (but just a short drive away when you're ready to sightsee again).

Such a beautiful hotel! The staff is some of the nicest and accommodating I’ve ever met, helping me get a taxi and WhatsApp messaging me restaurant suggestions. The room is beautiful and truly feels like you’re staying in a villa. The pool is lovely and while you have to take taxis basically anywhere, they’re very cheap especially on Grab. However there’s a few cafes and a market nearby should you just want to grab something close. We actually had some great crêpes from a spot that was walking distance from the hotel. I definitely enjoyed my stay here more than the one in the Old City, as you can tell they care a lot about the guests and keep the rooms very clean.

Der Service war excellent. Man hätte uns bei Bedarf auch Nachts noch Eis aus dem Supermarkt geholt. Traumhaftes Ambiente - erinnert an Siam (traditionelles Thailand). Der Whirlpool war super. Der Pool müsste etwas generalüberholt werden. Die Bademäntel sind nur bis Gr. M/L als Frau passend. Leider war das angebotene Frühstück sehr teuer. Man hat uns aber ein wirklich leckeres Restaurant (Vegetarier-Freundlich) ums Eck empfohlen. Im allgemeinen ein wunderschönes Hotel, sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service und sehr bequeme Betten. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Sowohl alleine, als Paar oder auch mit Kindern zu empfehlen. Mit Bolt kostet der Transport in die Stadt umgerechnet ca. 2€ (dringend die App dazu dann runterladen) und war innerhalb von 8 Minuten zu erreichen. Zu Fuß waren es max. 50 Minuten und angenehm zu laufen. Zum Flughafen waren es mit Bolt ebenfalls nur ca. 3€.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Looks and feels more authentic than big chain or more modern hotels. Amazing staff and great breakfast. Only downside is that it is slightly outside the city centre (most tours wouldn’t do pick up from here), but everything is 10-15min away with a car/scooter ride. Would stay again

This is one of our all-time favorite places to stay anywhere in the world. Located outside Chiang Mai it\'s removed from the noise and hassle of the city, yet it\'s still easy to come and go by asking the front desk to order a car (Lyft, Grab). The breakfast is lovely, served in an open air Sala. The staff is incredibly respectful, kind and gracious. The building and rooms showcase Lanna Thai teak carvings and indigenous fabrics. Do not confuse this place with another hotel with nearly the same name that is in the city. Be sure to book the one that has "Village" in the name.

I have to say staying at the Amata Lanna Village made our trip to Chiang Mai! This was truly one of the best places we have ever stayed at while traveling anywhere in the world. From the minute you walk in you are welcomed and appreciated. The rooms: Beautiful décor with teak wood floors, plenty of space, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast: Beautiful outside area near the pool. There is a list of options to choose from. My favorite was the bowl of fresh fruit you receive each day when you sit down. The location: 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes Grab to get to the night market area, etc. There are not a lot of walking distance things to do (we did find amazing local Thai restaurants, 7-11, Craft Beer bar, massages and street food down the street) BUT Grab is so inexpensive and doesn’t take long to get anywhere. The Staff: The front staff treats you as if you are their family and/or friend. They know your name very quickly and make sure you have what you need. They give you advice on where to eat, what to do, help you with a Grab, etc. I just can’t say enough about our time spent here.

When we arrived, were greeted by a smiling woman who checked us in and was very helpful during our 6 days stay. The room was spacious and high under the ceiling. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. The room also has a small fridge. Outside there are sun beds and a clean pool. There's no restaurant at the premises, but they serve breakfast every morning. There are a few restaurants nearby and a 7-eleven just down the road. The hotel is located outside the city center, so you should definitely install Grab on your phone to get to and from the city center. All in all we had a good stay at the hotel.

I was expecting much better hotel after reading all the reviews. Mosquitoes in the room and no we did not leave the door open. Make sure u bring a bug/mosquitos spray while u are eating breakfast and don’t expect a fancy breakfast, there is no capuchino or latte over here, just black coffee, a fruit bowl an omelette with a tiny sausage. No bar, no restaurant on the property, it is kinda boring after few hours. Make sure u don’t loose the key. They wanted to charge me $60 for the key. I can buy a whole set for $15/20 at the most. Lucky me I was able to find the key to avoid this ridiculous charge. However I want to give them 5 stars for the amazing hospitality.

What a gem! The hotel is beautifully appointed, with very comfortable beds, linen, etc.. In a country that excells in hospitality, the staff stood out for their helpfulness. I received help in booking day trips, and even with braiding my daughter\'s hair. Not an amazing area immediately around the hotel, but they provide excellent room service (even if the menu is limited), and a taxi to one of the "walking streets" is very inexpensive.

Not an amazing area immediately around the hotel, but they provide excellent room service (even if the menu is limited), and a taxi to one of the "walking streets" is very inexpensive.

This is one of our all-time favorite places to stay anywhere in the world. Located outside Chiang Mai it\'s removed from the noise and hassle of the city, yet it\'s still easy to come and go by asking the front desk to order a car (Lyft, Grab). The breakfast is lovely, served in an open air Sala. The staff is incredibly respectful, kind and gracious. The building and rooms showcase Lanna Thai teak carvings and indigenous fabrics. Do not confuse this place with another hotel with nearly the same name that is in the city. Be sure to book the one that has "Village" in the name.
