Awesome historical place to stay. Location is convenient, easy walking distance to everything downtown. For an older building, it's very comfortable. The view from the upstairs balcony is amazing. Check out the Zane Grey bar upstairs!

Very tiny room and electrical outlets were sparse. Lighting was inadequate. Not sure if the small window A/C actually worked or not. Hotel was perfect for walking around downtown. Hotel had 4 bars/restaurants in it. Very convenient. Quaint & historic hotel. Staff was amazing throughout. free parking in back.

Cool historic hotel, the bed wasn’t super comfy but good enough to get some sleep. We stayed on the third floor, room 49. We suspect that the dragging sound we heard may have been ghost activity. Our room was VERY HOT luckily, you can open the window - we slept with it open all night to help cool the room. The staff was all REALLY welcoming, friendly, and super pleasant. The downtown area has a lot of nice little coffee shops, we are at Kinder Box for dinner and it was fantastic. Parking is located behind the building - which is slightly sketchy. We parked a corvette there and it was fine - but we were a little worried. There’s so easy or comfortable way to bring in luggage - I recommend only bringing in your essentials, otherwise you’re lugging everything down the street and up two flights of stairs. I didn’t see any kind of bellhop and there’s no elevator that we were aware of. Overall, a cool experience with the added thrill of being an actively haunted hotel. :)

Great old hotel. No elevators was the only draw back. We know fling in there were no modern amenities like fridge, microwave, or coffee maker. But it was charming. Food and service at Charlie’s was great

If you need to catch the train early, this is a perfect place to stay, but beware that the property is historic and specializes in entertainment. Very hard to sleep there. Great bar and restaurants. No AC until June.

The stay was delightful and the staff was more than accommodating. The food was very good and the live entertainment was very entertaining. Parking was the only negative.

From outside the hotel looks very nice with verandas that make it look like a New Orleans hotel. The lobby has lots of character and the restaurant was very good on the night we ate there. The hotel is very centrally located with lots of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. So, why the poor rating? Well, there are no lifts so we had to hump our cases 2 floors up the stairs and then…the room was terrible. We were lucky to get a bathroom (apparently some of the rooms don’t have private bathrooms) but don’t think of bringing a cat to swing, or in the room for that matter. There was no tv, a small double bed in the corner, no hairdryer, no water, a chipped sink and bath, and no floor space for our cases. We have been travelling Route 66 for 2 1/2 weeks now using lots of quaint motels and even stayed in a wigwam - all of which had bigger, nicer bedrooms (and tvs). Sorry Weatherford Hotel, quaint with character doesn’t excuse small room and lack of basic traveller comforts.

The Weatherford is a much older hotel, but very quaint. Love being downtown & so close to walk to everything. Park & stay place. Great way to have fun without drinking & driving.

We stayed in room 49 on a Friday night, it’s right next to an event room which was booked that night as well. It was pretty noisy up until 11pm ish. That was the only down side. Room is a little small, but was very clean. Staff was super nice!

This is a historical hotel so things being old are part of the experience. The hotel and our room was clean. It is full of history and charm from that respect. Our room was very warm at night even with the temperatures getting near freezing, so we had to prop the windows open to keep cool. Our claw foot bath tub had the shower nozzle but no curtain around it, so it was interesting to take a shower. The bed was comfortable. We did experience some noise from the bars downstairs (it was homecoming weekend) but overall it wasn't horrible. The staff were all polite and friendly. This would not be a place for anyone with mobility issues since there is not an elevator. Look at the pictures, read the descriptions. They are not trying to hide anything and are very upfront about what the hotel has or does not have. We enjoyed our stay and all of the unique history that the Weatherford has to offer.

Room was a mess. The heater would not turn off which made us keep the window open which then let all the noisy sounds from the next building. Seriously what a joke. Then the shower would not stay hot or cold to include uneven water pressure and to add the tub slowly drained. I told the front desk. I got “WE WILL PASS ON THE INFORMATION “.

The building itself is pretty cool. The staff was very friendly.The room needs some TLC. Carpet was in ill repair and smelled extremely musty. Air quality not good. There is a rule that AC is only used at certain time of year, should clearly state that when booking. The radiator is extremely loud in the middle of the night. For the cost to stay per night room and amenities not of equal value. Parking very limited and not clearly explained before booking.

Upon checkin, they gave us a parking pass. We were on motorcycles with no way to display the pass without it being susceptible to theft. When we asked how they wanted us to display it, the desk clerk snorted, “you figure it out”. Also, read the info when you book, somewhere hidden in there it apparently says the room doesn’t have a bathroom. You have to go across the hall to use the bathroom, which by the way was extremely moldy. There is no tv, microwave, coffee maker or any other modern amenities. Just a small, (full size not queen) bed in a tiny room. They do advise of the noisy atmosphere, and it is quite loud. Was not impressed at all with this place. It looks nice from the outside front, but that’s where it ends. If you want a room to stumble to after getting drunk at one of the four bars, this is the place. Otherwise, find somewhere else.

For the price, this hotel is dreadfully under-equipped and outdated. The mattress was not a queen as advertised, but a full instead, and left us with sore necks and backs. Terrible quality overall.

I guess staying in a historic hotel is not our thing…. The property was cute and conveniently located within the historic downtown. The room was tiny!! The bathroom was tiny. The noise traveled exceptionally well :). It sounded like someone was walking in our room all night even that it was outside in a hallway or on a different floor.

From outside the hotel looks very nice with verandas that make it look like a New Orleans hotel. The lobby has lots of character and the restaurant was very good on the night we ate there. The hotel is very centrally located with lots of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. So, why the poor rating? Well, there are no lifts so we had to hump our cases 2 floors up the stairs and then…the room was terrible. We were lucky to get a bathroom (apparently some of the rooms don’t have private bathrooms) but don’t think of bringing a cat to swing, or in the room for that matter. There was no tv, a small double bed in the corner, no hairdryer, no water, a chipped sink and bath, and no floor space for our cases. We have been travelling Route 66 for 2 1/2 weeks now using lots of quaint motels and even stayed in a wigwam - all of which had bigger, nicer bedrooms (and tvs). Sorry Weatherford Hotel, quaint with character doesn’t excuse small room and lack of basic traveller comforts.

Cool historic hotel, the bed wasn’t super comfy but good enough to get some sleep. We stayed on the third floor, room 49. We suspect that the dragging sound we heard may have been ghost activity. Our room was VERY HOT luckily, you can open the window - we slept with it open all night to help cool the room. The staff was all REALLY welcoming, friendly, and super pleasant. The downtown area has a lot of nice little coffee shops, we are at Kinder Box for dinner and it was fantastic. Parking is located behind the building - which is slightly sketchy. We parked a corvette there and it was fine - but we were a little worried. There’s so easy or comfortable way to bring in luggage - I recommend only bringing in your essentials, otherwise you’re lugging everything down the street and up two flights of stairs. I didn’t see any kind of bellhop and there’s no elevator that we were aware of. Overall, a cool experience with the added thrill of being an actively haunted hotel. :)

This is a historical hotel so things being old are part of the experience. The hotel and our room was clean. It is full of history and charm from that respect. Our room was very warm at night even with the temperatures getting near freezing, so we had to prop the windows open to keep cool. Our claw foot bath tub had the shower nozzle but no curtain around it, so it was interesting to take a shower. The bed was comfortable. We did experience some noise from the bars downstairs (it was homecoming weekend) but overall it wasn't horrible. The staff were all polite and friendly. This would not be a place for anyone with mobility issues since there is not an elevator. Look at the pictures, read the descriptions. They are not trying to hide anything and are very upfront about what the hotel has or does not have. We enjoyed our stay and all of the unique history that the Weatherford has to offer.

The hotel is a charming old building in the middle of Flagstaff's historical center. However, we weren't able to get to sleep until 2:30 am after a long day of traveling. First the band directly underneath us went until 9:30 PM and then the noise from the nightlife outside went on until 2:30 AM. My wife tried to get help with carrying our bags up the stairs, no elevator, but we ended carrying them up ourselves, feeling the high elevation with each step.

Upon checkin, they gave us a parking pass. We were on motorcycles with no way to display the pass without it being susceptible to theft. When we asked how they wanted us to display it, the desk clerk snorted, “you figure it out”. Also, read the info when you book, somewhere hidden in there it apparently says the room doesn’t have a bathroom. You have to go across the hall to use the bathroom, which by the way was extremely moldy. There is no tv, microwave, coffee maker or any other modern amenities. Just a small, (full size not queen) bed in a tiny room. They do advise of the noisy atmosphere, and it is quite loud. Was not impressed at all with this place. It looks nice from the outside front, but that’s where it ends. If you want a room to stumble to after getting drunk at one of the four bars, this is the place. Otherwise, find somewhere else.

Love staying in old historic hotels like this and very nicely kept. Beautiful lobby for Christmas! Very comfortable bed and old antique furniture add to the charm. We did not have a stand-up shower (surprise!) and just the antique tub so be sure to ask before you book. Noise was not an issue for us and waking to the smell of coffee in the morning was perfect. Pubs were fun too.

A really nice place, well maintained and Bailey at the front desk was simply superb. The rooms do fall victim to a lot of noise from the downstairs eating drinking venues but they make sure you realize that upfront and it doesn't go on endlessly so for us, no big deal. My wife and I stayed for two nights and would do it again without hesitation. We didn't eat in the several food venues on the premises but the menu looked great. We did enjoy a drink or two on the veranda and that, as well as the bars, was really nice. Conveniently located from MANY restaurants, pubs, coffee places and a 5 minute walk to the train station. Great town, great place.

This is a very old hotel which I was fine with. The problem is the bed was also old and squeaked like crazy every time you moved an inch so I basically didn’t sleep for 2 nights. There are 3 bars in the hotel and you can hear all the bar noise so don’t think you are going to fall asleep until well after midnight. There are transom windows above the door (mine didn’t lock when I left btw) and the light comes in your room at night. Room seemed as clean as it could be. Only one person in the bathroom at a time—super small. Shaving my legs was interesting. Also there are no tvs in the room so if you need a tv this is not your place. This is a very old hotel which I was fine with. The problem is the bed was also old and squeaked like crazy every time you moved an inch so I basically didn’t sleep for 2 nights. There are 3 bars in the hotel and you can hear all the bar noise so don’t think you are going to fall asleep until well after midnight. There are transom windows above the door (mine didn’t lock when I left btw) and the light comes in your room at night. Room seemed as clean as it could be. Only one person in the bathroom at a time—super small. Shaving my legs was interesting. Also there are no tvs in the room so if you need a tv this is not your place. Obviously, this is a historic property, and outdated things are to be expected, but torn carpets and door locks that are difficult to close are things that need to be worked on at this property. The pros are their are a couple great drinking establishments on property, a restaurant, and the hotel is right in the middle of downtown Flagstaff, with it's safe and cool nighttime vibe.
