Room clean. No wardrobe though. Shower was a bit of a nightmare- leaking - so sprayed out from behind the shower head and the holder to attach to the wall loose so no good if you want to keep your hair dry. Breakfast a bit underwhelming. Choice of a few cereals, toast 1 type of cheese and 2 types of cooked meat- none of it labelled so ended up taking stuff I didn’t like. Croissant was nice but no choice of jams etc. the pub runs a cafe and offers cooked breakfast but this is not an option if you stay in the b&b. Hubby was disappointed. Digital security lock to get access to the property was worn, difficult to use and set at knee height- Not the best. But the pub is on a lovely road, and even though we stayed on a weekend there was no road noise and no noise disturbance from the pub. It’s a very short walk to the town centre and the staff gave us good tips about nice local restaurants and the great local bus service

No one was there! The room was tired in places. Bed and breakfast; No breakfast at advertised time. Check inn was a text message. Car parking was not signposted or explained prior to check in. Very poor experience. Will nnot stay there again.

Unusual entry/exit protocol. Often noone around on entry or exit, but security at high level. Nice continental breakfast included. Steep, twisty staircase, hard to negotiate when carrying luggage. Rental car scraped by other car park user.

The hotel is situated in a great location - close to the beachfront and town centre but far enough back to be very quiet. Room was a very good size. Bed very comfortable and a great double shower with rainfall head and standard. Continental breakfast was nice, hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I would mention on the website which road to turn down to access the car park as it’s all one way and not very clear. Would recommend and would stay again if visiting Ramsgate.

Very clean and quiet, no noise from other rooms. The extra costs on check in (£25 for extra bed even though booked for 3 people, plus £10 parking) were a surprise but it’s central to town and comfortable enough. Very helpful friendly staff.

Lovely one night stay, we had wanted to stay at the Falstaff Inn for some years and finally got the opportunity recently, it was worth the wait! The room itself was clean and comfortable with a pleasant view and ensuite, perfectly situated a short stroll from the shops and marina. The inn oozes style, with a sense of modernity, period furniture and original features, the staff made instructions clear, efficient and were helpful, with a friendly welcome and checkin, great continental breakfast too!

Hotel is a relatively recently renovated Grade 2 listed building. It is a quirky establishment, with only 8 rooms, spread over three floors. Outfitted with older period pieces of furniture, there is an warm, comfortable ambience, or there may have been had the hotel been more occupied. Due to purported covid restriction carryover, the hotel services were mostly curtailed, with no evening restaurant and partial coffee shop/brunch service on 5 days. Room was adequate, although there was no hanging spaces for clothes. Room was not serviced during two night stay. Security was good, with keyless entry to hotel and room. Many times there was no one around upon entry to the hotel.

We booked last minute so we could have a night away as a couple with no kids. The establishment was only open to guests but we were given an access code for the front door and our key was in the door to our room. All very simple. The room its self was lovely and large. Airy with a decent sized bathroom and an amazing shower. The bed was so comfy with the best hotel pillows we have ever experienced. There were a few hairs around the sink but nothing scary. Shower was immaculate with lovely, fresh towels. We were both very impressed with the large towels as hotel ones are usually on the small side but these were awesome. We did feel that the Tv was a bit small as the room was large and it was all the way at the other side. We both have reasonable eye site but had to stand to see channel options. The one downside that was a real irk was that there was no way to lock the bedroom from the inside so anyone could have just walked in. In a small, boutique style hotel so it’s not beyond the imagination that someone could get lost after a few drinks and enter the wrong room. Breakfast was lovely. Service was outstanding. Immediately guided to a table already set and offered a choice of fresh orange or apple juice plus tea and coffee. Toast and fresh pastry were brought to us straight away with cereal, and other continental options. As an extra I ordered the full English which was superb. Meat quality outstanding, as was the Scottish server/chef. Impeccable food. 100% will be back.

Nice, quiet area just a short walk into town. We arrived early and were allowed to check in. The room was nice enough but wasn’t made up on the second day when we returned. We stayed at the start of the week so there was a limited, continental breakfast offered. Arrived on a Sunday and the Sunday lunches looked amazing. Staff helpful.

We booked last minute so we could have a night away as a couple with no kids. The establishment was only open to guests but we were given an access code for the front door and our key was in the door to our room. All very simple. The room its self was lovely and large. Airy with a decent sized bathroom and an amazing shower. The bed was so comfy with the best hotel pillows we have ever experienced. There were a few hairs around the sink but nothing scary. Shower was immaculate with lovely, fresh towels. We were both very impressed with the large towels as hotel ones are usually on the small side but these were awesome. We did feel that the Tv was a bit small as the room was large and it was all the way at the other side. We both have reasonable eye site but had to stand to see channel options. The one downside that was a real irk was that there was no way to lock the bedroom from the inside so anyone could have just walked in. In a small, boutique style hotel so it’s not beyond the imagination that someone could get lost after a few drinks and enter the wrong room. Breakfast was lovely. Service was outstanding. Immediately guided to a table already set and offered a choice of fresh orange or apple juice plus tea and coffee. Toast and fresh pastry were brought to us straight away with cereal, and other continental options. As an extra I ordered the full English which was superb. Meat quality outstanding, as was the Scottish server/chef. Impeccable food. 100% will be back.

I would highly recommend The Falstaff. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Its location is excellent — just a short walk from Ramsgate Marina and close to all the main attractions in town.

A lovely small hotel just a short walk from the harbour. The room was a good size, in great condition and with a huge bathroom (shower only). Despite being an old building there were no signs of creaky floorboard nor other noises often found in older hotels. In fact there was barely a sound so much so I wondered if we had the hotel to ourselves but there were certainly other guests at breakfast. The road outside was quiet too. Definitely one I will use again!

The hotel is situated in a great location - close to the beachfront and town centre but far enough back to be very quiet. Room was a very good size. Bed very comfortable and a great double shower with rainfall head and standard. Continental breakfast was nice, hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I would mention on the website which road to turn down to access the car park as it’s all one way and not very clear. Would recommend and would stay again if visiting Ramsgate.

This was very disappointing the room was like a miss match of furniture more like a budget stay and the room was very very hot.Not happy about paying to park the car' the best thing about breakfast was the granola and to be honest I wished I'd gone home.Definatly wouldn't be staying there again

Lovely one night stay, we had wanted to stay at the Falstaff Inn for some years and finally got the opportunity recently, it was worth the wait! The room itself was clean and comfortable with a pleasant view and ensuite, perfectly situated a short stroll from the shops and marina. The inn oozes style, with a sense of modernity, period furniture and original features, the staff made instructions clear, efficient and were helpful, with a friendly welcome and checkin, great continental breakfast too!

Unusual entry/exit protocol. Often noone around on entry or exit, but security at high level. Nice continental breakfast included. Steep, twisty staircase, hard to negotiate when carrying luggage. Rental car scraped by other car park user.

Nice, quiet area just a short walk into town. We arrived early and were allowed to check in. The room was nice enough but wasn’t made up on the second day when we returned. We stayed at the start of the week so there was a limited, continental breakfast offered. Arrived on a Sunday and the Sunday lunches looked amazing. Staff helpful.

I loved my stay here! Such a beautiful room, so comfortable and the included breakfast was perfect to start the day. I feel everything needed was provided and the staff were very considerate, friendly, and happy to help with anything. Definitely would recommend!

Room clean. No wardrobe though. Shower was a bit of a nightmare- leaking - so sprayed out from behind the shower head and the holder to attach to the wall loose so no good if you want to keep your hair dry. Breakfast a bit underwhelming. Choice of a few cereals, toast 1 type of cheese and 2 types of cooked meat- none of it labelled so ended up taking stuff I didn’t like. Croissant was nice but no choice of jams etc. the pub runs a cafe and offers cooked breakfast but this is not an option if you stay in the b&b. Hubby was disappointed. Digital security lock to get access to the property was worn, difficult to use and set at knee height- Not the best. But the pub is on a lovely road, and even though we stayed on a weekend there was no road noise and no noise disturbance from the pub. It’s a very short walk to the town centre and the staff gave us good tips about nice local restaurants and the great local bus service

Hotel is a relatively recently renovated Grade 2 listed building. It is a quirky establishment, with only 8 rooms, spread over three floors. Outfitted with older period pieces of furniture, there is an warm, comfortable ambience, or there may have been had the hotel been more occupied. Due to purported covid restriction carryover, the hotel services were mostly curtailed, with no evening restaurant and partial coffee shop/brunch service on 5 days. Room was adequate, although there was no hanging spaces for clothes. Room was not serviced during two night stay. Security was good, with keyless entry to hotel and room. Many times there was no one around upon entry to the hotel.

Very clean and tastefully decorated on a quiet side street. Friendly and helpful staff, although I understand they aren't on-site on Mondays and Tuesdays. We chose room 2 on the top floor, which has a pleasant view of the street. It would benefit from a table on the other side of the bed and a brighter reading lamp! We found the shower controls to be a little stiff when altering the water temperature. Choose one of the higher numbered bedrooms if you have difficulty with stairs. Nice, reasonably priced cafe and well-stocked bookshop, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The sitting room has to be seen to be believed as it looks as it might've done when the hotel was built. The hotel has a small, chargeable car park to the rear but it's first come, first served. Very clean and tastefully decorated on a quiet side street. Friendly and helpful staff, although I understand they aren't on-site on Mondays and Tuesdays. We chose room 2 on the top floor, which has a pleasant view of the street. It would benefit from a table on the other side of the bed and a brighter reading lamp! We found the shower controls to be a little stiff when altering the water temperature. Choose one of the higher numbered bedrooms if you have difficulty with stairs. Nice, reasonably priced cafe and well-stocked bookshop, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The sitting room has to be seen to be believed as it looks as it might've done when the hotel was built. The hotel has a small, chargeable car park to the rear but it's first come, first served. As an averagely priced room.. this is pretty great. For what we paid we got a massive room, big bed, nice bathroom and would have had breakfast included (we had other stuff to get to so couldn't indulge). The staff were helpful and getting in/getting settled was easy. It's attached to a pretty nice pub too, which is always a bonus. Slight negatives are: parking isn't free, the charge to borrow a travel cot was silly £15 for the night, I think) and the shower was a little run down (seal around the door going etc).. also the TV wasn't actually tuned to anything or connected to the WiFi to cast a phone. Relatively minor quibbles given what we paid and what we needed the room for. Would definitely recommend!

The beds were comfortable they give you one towel per person for four days. No cleaning of the room or replenishing towels or anything for four days. There is no Kleenex in the room. The shower was very leaky from the top and it sprayed all over the place. We were on the top floor, which I think is the fifth floor with no elevator. Very difficult navigating up and down the stairs, especially with luggage.
