Staff there were excellent and and the rooms and the facilities were very good. Their restaurant Deeva was also very good. They also have a free shuttle to the centre of Ubud

We rented a private pool villa at the Udaya for a week for our honeymoon. It was incredible! We were transported from Kuta to Udaya by an employee named Putra. He was so incredible to talk to and knowledgeable we asked for him to be our tour guide the next day, and he was! Wonderdul person, if you are staying, ask for Putra! Our amenities were spectacular. It is a hidden gem that is only a 10 minute drive from Ubud city center. They have a free shuttle that takes you there and back every hour but even if you use local transportation, it is very inexpesive. The food included as breakfast was amazing. We also did two spa services, both were wonderdul...the couples massage with a citrus bath and couples massage with celebration of flowers. People complained or the mosquitoes in some reviees, but we didnt have a problem because i brought bug spray and sprayed it around our porch. This place was incredible!

Gorgeous hotel with excellent breakfast. The customer service is top notch, we were treated like royalty. There is a complimentary shuttle to Ubud town center (10 min ride), afternoon tea and many other activities such as free yoga, evening bbq dance performance. Spa is world class.

This is a lovely hotel just outside the town centre. Easy access with a free shuttle into town and back or 50000 rupiah for a taxi if want to stay out a bit later. Grounds are well kept and staff are ever so friendly and accommodating of your every need. Unfortunately though we were in a duplex villa with pool (Bunut) with building work both next to us and opposite. Really couldn't enjoy the pool with any privacy during most days as always being overlooked. Very disappointed by this. My partners hair also turned green from the chemicals in the water. Did speak to the manager about this who was apologetic and said he would look into the PH levels but that's not much compensation to my partner who was having a meltdown with 2 weeks left of the holiday while looking like Orville the duck. The larger main fridge didn't work in the room either. The lower decking by the main pool is rotting and dangerous and i wouldn't expect this of a 2star hotel let alone a 4/5 star and is a accident waiting to happen. Most people wouldn't see or encounter the problems we did but it did spoil our stay unfortunately.

The service at this place is 100 out of 10. The property itself is so beautiful but what takes it to the next level is the wonderful staff. Everyone at this place goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and to make your stay more pleasant and comfortable. The food at Deeva restaurant is outstanding. Shout out to the superstars who made my stay here so wonderful : First I would like to mention my driver Putra who has far exceeded my expectations. I have a problem with my knees and can not climb too many stairs. But my driver assisted me in every step of the way, and it was only because of him that I was able to explore so many wonderful places which I could not explore on my own. Putra, I want you to know that your kindness has not gone unappreciated. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your exceptional service. And every time I come to Ubud, I want you to be my driver. The other person I wanted to mention is Listia, who made me feel so welcomed when I first entered the property. She went above and beyond to make sure that my room is to my liking. Truly exceptional service that I have not seen anywhere else. Listia, I want you to know that your efforts have made a huge impact and I truly appreciate everything that you have done for me. Every single person here is an absolute gem and their service is truly praiseworthy. It’s because of the wonderful people here at Udaya that I extended my stay and I can not wait to come back to Bali and stay at Udaya again.

This is a FANTASTIC property if you want a visit to ubud. my wife and i came here for our honeymoon and spent 4 nights here and actually stayed in 3 different room options each night just to get a feel for each. Overall loved the rooms, the easy transport to city center in a 7 min free shuttle and the personal service especially their ability to do the flower baths for you is just unbelievable and their spa too. A bit more specifics now: 1. Location- resort is located about 5-7 minutes from the ubud city center but definitely not "out there" like i thought. shuttles run every hour from the hotel to the city center and it\'s super easy to get to. was nice to not be in the hustle and bustle of the city center but have easy access to it whenever we wanted. great location to explore ubud and surrounding areas. 2. rooms- we stayed in all 3 rooms- the garden view room, the pool suite and the pool villa. all 3 were absolutely fantastic and totally reasonably priced considering what you get. if you don\'t want the pay extra for the pool room, don\'t worry the garden room is just as beautiful. the pool suite, also gorgeous and the pool villa just more space and a larger pool. the pool villa is where they did a personalized design in our pool for us with our names and a happy honeymoon for $100. Was the most elaborate flower decor we had ever seen in our life. it took them 3 hours to make the flower decor in our pool so $100 is nothing compared to what they did with it.

What a perfect stay!? We stayed at the resort for 2 nights in one of the pool suites. The suite was well-appointed and comfortable. The pool area in our suite was spotless and private allowing us to use it with absolute comfort. The staff was incredibly attentive as we ordered room service several times and it always arrived fresh and quickly. Finally, we got excellent spa treatments. The only constructive feedback I would provide is that the air conditioning in the room could be a little bit more powerful as the room was warm at times, but otherwise, it was an excellent experience. Great stay at this property. The staff and management was first class. Upgraded for the last two nights of our stay. Room and villa was perfect. Highly likely I visit again, in the new year. Thursday evening cultural night was good. Breakfast was nice. High Tea is a good afternoon snack. 5 star

The Udaya resort and spa is absolutely gorgeous. The property and amenities are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the restaurant offers great and tasty choices for both breakfast and dinner, the spa is AMAZING and affordable, the hotel offers a reliable and convenient shuttle to and from the Ubud city center, and the staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Ubud area.

Our stay at the Udaya was wonderful, the grounds amazing. Loved our own little pool villa. Staff very accommodating. The only thing I would recommend would be that the shuttle times they only went 2 hourly, 1 hourly would have been so much better

This is a beautiful property, the food and staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful. They keep the property up, spray twice a day to keep the mosquitoes down. They also have complementary bug spray plug-ins for the walls. I didn’t like the garden villa bathroom/shower had a small opening to the outside. The pool villa was gorgeous and completely closed off. I like that better than the other villas with vents to the outside.. the pool water is cool not heated and my pool Villa must’ve been some kind of bird or animal on the roof because it kept dropping poop right in front of my pool villa. I did not like that but they cleaned it up every time. It sits on the hill maybe 10min from the market, construction 🚧 going on in the area so the roads were rough but I loved my stay there

The resort was clean and very close to downtown Ubud. The shuttle was very convenient. Our room was very nice, the food was good, and the service was decent. I believe there are several areas to improve to enhance the customer experience, but all in all for the price it was fantastic.

Nice spacious room with all the usual amenities. Shower hose leaked and hot water took ages to come . I booked rooms with private pools we stayed for 3 days but didn’t use these once as the water was too cold. Restaurant was a bit basic and dated as was the very small bar. Food took quite a while to arrive but was good enough. Shuttle to the town was really useful as it was a fair bit out of the centre but it finished at 9.10pm so would have been useful for us had it operated for longer. Would have liked to try the spa but couldn’t get suitable availability so used one in Ubud which was half the price. Ok stay would return despite the nice room.

We stayed at the Udaya for 2 nights, and I do not recommend staying there if you are stayong with kids. This is not a family friendly resort. The resort and rooms are designed for honeymooning couples. Therr is no provacy for thr bathrooms. The room has a shower, tub, and toilet that are open to the room. This is a problem if you are traveling with kids, parents etc. Really inconvenient. We booked two rooms and both were desogned this way. In one room the showr didnt even come with frosted glass and is visible from the room! Two grandparents and a grandson stsyed in the room. The resort allows peoe to book roo.s with kids. They should just stay as a couples onky resort, as many resorts do. Why allow people to book these rooms with no provacy when they are listing kids in reservation? Restaurant has upscale vibes bur dinner is pretty bad. Breakfast was good. Spa is good too.

This was such a beautiful property, truly breathtaking. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful as well. Being able to message requests or questions over whats app was also very convenient and they responded very quickly. The room, spa and entire property was beautiful and amazing. I would definitely go back to this resort and it was the only place in all of Bali I had hot water in the shower the entire duration of the shower.

What a perfect stay!? We stayed at the resort for 2 nights in one of the pool suites. The suite was well-appointed and comfortable. The pool area in our suite was spotless and private allowing us to use it with absolute comfort. The staff was incredibly attentive as we ordered room service several times and it always arrived fresh and quickly. Finally, we got excellent spa treatments. The only constructive feedback I would provide is that the air conditioning in the room could be a little bit more powerful as the room was warm at times, but otherwise, it was an excellent experience. This is a beautiful property, the food and staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful. They keep the property up, spray twice a day to keep the mosquitoes down. They also have complementary bug spray plug-ins for the walls. I didn’t like the garden villa bathroom/shower had a small opening to the outside. The pool villa was gorgeous and completely closed off. I like that better than the other villas with vents to the outside.. the pool water is cool not heated and my pool Villa must’ve been some kind of bird or animal on the roof because it kept dropping poop right in front of my pool villa. Our stay at the Udaya was wonderful, the grounds amazing. Loved our own little pool villa. Staff very accommodating. The only thing I would recommend would be that the shuttle times they only went 2 hourly, 1 hourly would have been so much better

My Wife and I just completed our stay at the Udaya Resort and we enjoyed every second of it. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, we had numerous conversations with staff members and enjoyed learning about the balinese culture. The resort and accommodations exceeded expectations by far! Food was fresh and made when ordered. Spa services were excellent. We enjoyed the tour with Putra, he shared interesting information about the local tourist attractions. We will be staying at Udaya any chance we get.

We stayed for a week. Our villa was nice but a little older and a fair distance from the main lobby/restaurant. What makes this property special is the staff. Everyone from the servers to the spa staff to manager was kind and engaging. They knew us by name and treated us like family.

Everyone at this place goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and to make your stay more pleasant and comfortable. The food at Deeva restaurant is outstanding. Shout out to the superstars who made my stay here so wonderful : First I would like to mention my driver Putra who has far exceeded my expectations. I have a problem with my knees and can not climb too many stairs. But my driver assisted me in every step of the way, and it was only because of him that I was able to explore so many wonderful places which I could not explore on my own. Putra, I want you to know that your kindness has not gone unappreciated. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your exceptional service. And every time I come to Ubud, I want you to be my driver. The other person I wanted to mention is Listia, who made me feel so welcomed when I first entered the property. She went above and beyond to make sure that my room is to my liking. Truly exceptional service that I have not seen anywhere else. The resort was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. There were several walkable restaurants nearby and a laundry as well. Only comment was that they did not resupply pool towels throughout the day so you had to go and request one.

This is a FANTASTIC property if you want a visit to ubud. my wife and i came here for our honeymoon and spent 4 nights here and actually stayed in 3 different room options each night just to get a feel for each. Overall loved the rooms, the easy transport to city center in a 7 min free shuttle and the personal service especially their ability to do the flower baths for you is just unbelievable and their spa too. A bit more specifics now: 1. Location- resort is located about 5-7 minutes from the ubud city center but definitely not "out there" like i thought. shuttles run every hour from the hotel to the city center and it\'s super easy to get to. was nice to not be in the hustle and bustle of the city center but have easy access to it whenever we wanted. great location to explore ubud and surrounding areas. 2. rooms- we stayed in all 3 rooms- the garden view room, the pool suite and the pool villa. all 3 were absolutely fantastic and totally reasonably priced considering what you get. if you don\'t want the pay extra for the pool room, don\'t worry the garden room is just as beautiful. the pool suite, also gorgeous and the pool villa just more space and a larger pool. the pool villa is where they did a personalized design in our pool for us with our names and a happy honeymoon for $100. Was the most elaborate flower decor we had ever seen in our life. it took them 3 hours to make the flower decor in our pool so $100 is nothing compared to what they did with it.

Beautiful hotel. Gives white lotus vibes. Pictures don’t do it justice. Staff incredible. Pool area beautiful. Breakfast lovely, fantastic cofffee. Loved our stay. My only comment would be that it’s in a beautiful quiet peaceful location, but the draw back of this is the traffic you have to fight through to get there from the airport. It’s on the other side of the town. Which is stunning but a long drive. Loved it. Will recommend to friends. Miss it already

Staff there were excellent and and the rooms and the facilities were very good. Their restaurant Deeva was also very good. They also have a free shuttle to the centre of Ubud

We stayed at the Udaya for 2 nights, and I do not recommend staying there if you are stayong with kids. This is not a family friendly resort. The resort and rooms are designed for honeymooning couples. Therr is no provacy for thr bathrooms. The room has a shower, tub, and toilet that are open to the room. This is a problem if you are traveling with kids, parents etc. Really inconvenient. We booked two rooms and both were desogned this way. In one room the showr didnt even come with frosted glass and is visible from the room! Two grandparents and a grandson stsyed in the room. The resort allows peoe to book roo.s with kids. They should just stay as a couples onky resort, as many resorts do. Why allow people to book these rooms with no provacy when they are listing kids in reservation? Restaurant has upscale vibes bur dinner is pretty bad. Breakfast was good. Spa is good too.

Gorgeous hotel with excellent breakfast. The customer service is top notch, we were treated like royalty. There is a complimentary shuttle to Ubud town center (10 min ride), afternoon tea and many other activities such as free yoga, evening bbq dance performance. Spa is world class.

The rooms are beyond gorgeous and the manager was awesome!! Top notch service. Yoga was great. The breakfast lovely. Will stay again at this unique location!

The resort was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. There were several walkable restaurants nearby and a laundry as well. Only comment was that they did not resupply pool towels throughout the day so you had to go and request one.

Great stay at this property. The staff and management was first class. Upgraded for the last two nights of our stay. Room and villa was perfect. Highly likely I visit again, in the new year. Thursday evening cultural night was good. Breakfast was nice. High Tea is a good afternoon snack. 5 star

A Peaceful Ubud Retreat with Exceptional Food and Amenities We were very happy with our stay at The Udaya Resorts and Spa. The resort is located in a quiet and peaceful area, about 10 minutes or so by car from the main part of Ubud. While it is a little away from the centre, we actually enjoyed being away from the crowds and found it a relaxing place to stay. For a four-star property, we were particularly impressed with the room amenities and the quality of the food. In fact, we found the overall experience here even better than some of the five-star properties we stayed at during our trip, including Sudamala in Sanur. I would definitely recommend The Udaya Resorts and Spa to travellers looking for a more peaceful and less busy Ubud experience, while still being within easy driving distance of the main attractions and town centre. A very enjoyable stay overall.

Le seul problème c’etait les tableaux et exces de statues dans le resort et les chambres. Les enfants etaient terorisés quand ils voyaient ceci. A part ca merci a l’homme de chambre tres gentil, beau travail, un grand merci a agus superviseur du restaurant. Tres aimable avec nos enfants
