Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans French Quarter

The Hotel was clean and well maintained we had no issues with our stay here

The hotel is good, breakfast is nice but daily options are basically the same every day. The rooms are decent sized and pretty clean. My issue was with staff, when checking in I, one of the rooms I had was not prepaid for and the staff member helping me check in said he needed a car for incidentals. The moment I was going to tap it he charged me for the room as well. He told me that it was only on hold and that I could change the credit card the moment I checked out. When checking out, I requested to change the credit card to pay for the room. They asked me to tap my credit card so the room would be paid for with the new credit card. Hours later my original credit card was charged instead. Communication needs to be better and they should tell you what you are actually paying for.

Overall it was a great stay! The bed was one of the most comfortable in my years of travel. The breakfast was ok. Maybe they should change it up a bit. The same thing for a week gets boring. It was a good location for walking to Bourbon St and hopping on the trolley or bus to get to other areas.
